“My friend and I often go for breakfast on Friday mornings to the Sunset Grill. The service is always fast accurate and friendly. On our last visit, we had a lovely waitress named Allie, who took care of our order. During our visit she was especially attentive and returned to refill our coffee and asked how our food was as well as if she could bring HP sauce or hot sauce. It’s unusual to enjoy such superb service! We have found that the food is always delicious and prepared with fresh ingredients. I highly recommend this location.“

“This is an addendum to my last review. We are here again less than 2 weeks from our last time. Again we had to order Tom's special breakfast. It's so good at a very reasonable price. First starting with the generous slice of orange plus another kind of fruit. Crispy bacon cooked to perfection. Home fried potatoes that are crispy on the outside and soft almost empty inside. Eggs cooked perfectly and toast fresh and delicious. What a bargain!

We had the Tom's special breakfast. It was fantastic. The potatoes were the best we've ever had. Fresh and crispy. It's very clean in here. We ordered at the counter but they delivered it to the table. They're fat and friendly here. All the food that I saw made my mouth water. The phone beside me had a BLT with a fried egg. I noticed that he couldn't finish it because it was so big and took the other half away with him. This is a great place for breakfast and lunch. We will definitely be returning.“

“I've been going to this restaurant for 71 years and nothing much has changed. Top notch food at a very respectable price. The staff are the greatest and very friendly and helpful. Hard to believe in this day and age that you can go to a restaurant and get treated supremely with respect. “Came in here after a long day at the Toronto Zoo and was so pleasantly surprised! This is a hidden gem of Filipino food! Prices are very reasonable and the food is very very amazing!!! “It was my first time there, as I am not from Scarborough, but met my friend who lives nearby. We both had the peameal bacon breakfast. It said 8 oz. of peameal served. It came with 4 super thick slices. I'm thinking more like 10 oz. minimum!!! Potatoes were grilled, not deep fried, and my eggs were perfect!!!! Great server!!!!! “The Service was great but I will never order the pancakes from them again, I was undercooked and dorothy on the inside. I told our waitress and they brought me a new one and It's same thing, either they don't communicate with the kitchen or the people who cook the pancakes just don't care. Eventhough the waitress has rectify the issue and asked me if I want to order something else but everyone already finished eating so end up didn't get to eat.“
