“45 years I ago I ate my very first McDonald's at this restaurant. I went to birthday parties in the basement. And played in the play place .

Yesterday brought back so many memories. Eating there it's been a long time .
They still have the yellow McDonald's sign

“My husband and I were on our honeymoon last week and decided to try The Burgers Priest. We were so blessed to be served by a man named Steven. Not only was he super friendly and patient while we tried to decide what we wanted...but once he found out we were on our honeymoon he went out of his way to make us feel at home. He was happy to hear that people are still willing to take honeymoons and to see true love. I swear he was the friendliest person we met and he blessed us so much this visit. Anyone who is served by him is a lucky person :) keep it up Steven! The world needs more people like you!“

“This was the best burger I think I have ever had sincerely. Ordered a cheese burger but asked for no cheese and it was just incredible. A real burger with a real beef taste. Seasoned but not over seasoned and extremely fresh. Even the lettuce was just perfect and fresh. My husband and I ordered one as a combo so it came with fries and a drink and added a extra burger. The total was 24 with tax. It was more then enough fries to share and the water was large to share . Worth every cent. Absolutely a life time customer was made today. I also love the history behind this business and prayer on the wall. May God bless this business 🙏“

Could feel that good vibe the moment I walked in. The people were so kind and I ordered with mama (such a sweet person, she reminded me of my own nanna who I dearly miss).

I ordered a souvlaki dinner. The portions were good enough for a single person. Not too little, not too much - just about right, after a long day’s work. The chicken was rightly done and the bread was good.

The right proportions of the salad and the rice did not make me feel overwhelmed. A problem I’ve always had ordering Greek food from other Restaraunts.

The place was very clean and neatly decorated. Thank you Mama and the team for the amazing food and the kindness you spread around 😊 Totally recommend this place!! 😊“

“We have been to this location a few times over the last year. We are seniors and have requested the full breakfast in the middle of the day. Other A. & W. Locations do not offer the full breakfast menu at all. Since our first visit to this location we have found all of the staff to be so accommodating, courteous kind and very helpful. Diane was our young lady on the order desk, she like the other staff are worth their weight in gold as they excel in all of the customer service area that are essential to complete customer satisfaction. Diane and all the staff at this location are # TEN.“

“Got the beef brisket burger with fries and their in-house Slayer Lager. About $25 out the door. A cute little robot brang the food to my table. The brisket was thick, juicy, tender and pulled apart like butter. It was so fulling I could not eat all the fries. The fries came with house-made chipotle sauce and it was de-licious. Well worth the price.“

The spice levels on the blackened chicken in enchiladas and spicy chicken sandwiches was more than expected but it was good!

“John Anderson’s is pure nostalgia in the best way. It instantly took me back to my high school days when the restaurant was located at Victoria Park and Van Horne—and I’m happy to say it’s still just as top-notch as I remember. The family that owns the place is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the experience even better. The food is fresh, tastes amazing, and the prices are very fair, so you really can’t go wrong. If you’re looking for a real, quality burger done right, this place is absolutely worth your time.

“I heard about this restaurant from reviews. I wanted to try their food. Unfortunately, their customer service is very slow. Ordering ahead of time stil not helpful for speedy pickup. Another customer told me ordered 35 minutes ago and still he was waiting.
Restaurant is clean, washroom was good too. The person taking orders at cash and waitress the same person and she was running around and made her to forget as well (she was nice and pleasant).“

“Tried Simbas and overall had a good experience. For $21, I got two sandwiches (one Nashville hot chicken, one beef patty with jalapeño pickle), fries, their signature sauce, and a drink, which is a solid combo.

The fries were perfect—very similar to Costco-style fries, which is what you’d expect from a shawarma-style spot, and they didn’t disappoint. The Nashville chicken tender was juicy, well-seasoned, and paired really nicely with the coleslaw. The beef patty sandwich was also satisfying.

The place is located in a food court–style plaza, so seating feels more like a canteen. There’s plenty of free parking, which is a big plus. However, the washroom could use improvement—only one sink was working during my visit. We waited 15 minutes for the food which is pretty good pace.

Food-wise, I really enjoyed it, but pricing feels a bit high. Personally, this meal would make more sense around $15 rather than $21.
