“I used to think fish and chips were defined by the greasiness on my tongue and the inedibility of their chips. I’ve tried the dish on many occasions, but never found one that tasted just right. I think this place comes close to very very good. It doesn’t have the greasy feel that plagued so many of my previous consumptions, the batter isn’t too thick nor too thin, and most of all, I genuinely wanted to eat the chips. Definitely coming back the next time I’m in the area.“

“We found this restaurant by chance today, and it turned out to be such a great find.
The atmosphere was perfect for enjoying a meal with family, the server was incredibly friendly, and the portions were generous.
On top of that, the food was absolutely delicious.

“I've been coming to Carbon Bar and Grill for years! The food is incredible (especially their wings, burgers, and fries). The staff have always been kind, attentive, and accommodating (especially-so for large parties). Definitely recommend this spot for a meal with the family or a drink with friends.“

“I have been a customer of this location for the past many years. Quality of food had always their priority. Our last visit was takeout of 4 orders of cod and chips. French fries was amazing and the Fish was most definitely delcious i would recommend to anyone who enjoys good quality food.“

“I normally don’t leave reviews on food ordered via Uber Eats, but I decided to order from Halibut House tonight. Everything was excellent — the fish was fresh, the batter was crispy, and the portions were great.
The only disappointment? A reputable fish & chips shop like this should really be making their own tartar sauce. Using packaged tartar sauce is a bit of a letdown when the rest of the meal is done so well.
Still a solid meal overall — just hoping they step up the tartar sauce game.“
