“I recently had the pleasure of dining at the Sparkly Restaurant, a Japanese-Thai all-you-can-eat spot, thanks to a thoughtful gift certificate from one of my coworkers, a nurse at the hospital. It was my first time trying this place, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations! The food was absolutely delicious, with a great variety of dishes that were fresh and full of flavor. The sushi was beautifully presented, the Thai curries were perfectly spiced, and the appetizers were a great start to the meal. The service was equally impressive—friendly, attentive, and efficient, which made the experience even more enjoyable. I truly enjoyed every aspect of my visit and would highly recommend Sparkly Restaurant to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. “To be honest, I have never experienced anything like this before.

I had no intention of leaving a negative review, because the issue was already addressed that same evening. The restaurant apologized, accepted responsibility, and we considered the matter resolved.

Throughout the entire situation, we remained polite. We did not swear, insult anyone, or cause a scene. We simply raised our concerns respectfully after waiting an extremely long time for our food, while some people at our table had already finished eating and others still had not received their meals. In restaurant service, that is a major issue. What made it worse was that no staff member came to explain the delay or provide any updates.

What I find disappointing is that three of you used three separate Google accounts to respond to my review and indirectly identify me by mentioning our table number and even commenting on my local accent, calling me low EQ. Then you claim that you were not referring to me specifically.

I understand that you gave the restaurant 5-star reviews because you had a positive experience, or part of their promotion( 5 stars review for a free dish) and that is completely your right. However, by repeatedly targeting me in your responses, you have only encouraged me to leave more than one review. Our group had nine people — if I wanted to, there could have been nine reviews instead of one.

Arguing back and forth through Google Reviews is not helping the restaurant. If you would like an unbiased public discussion, feel free to post the situation on Facebook and I will gladly respond there.

If these personal attacks continue after this review, I will also make a Facebook post about the situation. I do not believe that would be beneficial for the restaurant, and I would prefer not to take it that far.

“I can't believe I could find such authentic north indian taste in such cheap prices! The owner uncle is too sweet to be true and they make every dish on the spot. I would recommend you call beforehand for your order as they take half an hour to make it right away.“

“Most popular food spots in the mall, they give you huge portions especially when it comes to the rice, everything is cooked hot and fresh. I am addicted to their fried chicken, although recently Ive been seeing the sizes of the drumsticks get smaller.“

“We come down from Barrie because we love the dishes.
Consistently delicious dishes but pakoras (appetizer) NEVER come out first, even when ordered 10 mins before mains. I know their prep takes time but I’m not in so much rush. I don’t want to say it ruins the meal, but it isn’t nice to get appetizers long after mains are brought to table. This has been a consistent problem but I found a work-around.

Dined in yesterday again and only ordered pakoras. When they arrived at the table I then ordered dry Manchurian beef and Chicken Hakka noodles. I must say the meal was delicious. The pakoras were crispy but so moist and juicy inside with fresh herbs visible. Large and super hot (temp and spice)— the way I love them. I can’t get these dishes in Barrie, not made like Hakka No One Finch makes.“
