“I ordered Lola's through DoorDash as an additional DoubleDash thing because the prices looked right. It was my first time trying Nigerian food and now I'm HOOKED. The fish roll, sausage roll, meat pie, scotch egg, and child sized ayamase with white rice were DELICIOUS. The child sized ayamase with white rice was actually quite large, so it filled me up even though I'm an adult. The rolls and pie portions were worth the $2-2.50 too. I highly recommend this place and I will definitely be ordering again. 😁❤️“

“Jonny the waiter was not only attentive, but also so catering to the needs of our group. He made sure our drinks were always topped up during the live band also while caring for a full out door patio. Matty in the back who carried out my steak did an incredible job not only was it cooked to satisfactory but it was above and beyond what my expectations were I had the best experience I could have asked for and would recommend to anyone i possibly could.

“Update July 2025: My brother in law celebrated his 75th birthday at this diner with a small party of 18 persons. Chef Lawrence was informed of the orders in advance and they were all freshly prepared. The taste and quality of food was so delightful and delectable that everybody enjoyed them, portions are big and prices are so reasonable. They even have Senior's Deals, Lunch Specials and Daily Specials. This diner is highly recommended.

The family went to this place for dinner. It is a small diner and I was pleasantly surprise that the food tasted great. We ordered shrimp and scallop pasta, frutti di mare pasta, steak and eggs, meatloaf. The shrimp and scallop pasta in rose sauce was absolutely delicious and the seafood cooked perfectly. The frutti di mare in tomato sauce which my brother in law chose instead of aglio olio, was so tasteful and there was a lot of seafood. For both pasta dishes with seafood they certainly did not scrimp on the seafood and were so flavourful. My sister said that her meatloaf was the best she has had. They were even so nice as to accommodate my grandson's request for pasta in alfredo sauce and parmesan cheese.Customer service is excellent. It is an unassuming little restaurant and offers delicious food at low cost.Truly this place is a hidden gem in Mississauga and would highly recommend this place.“

“I contacted Raj through Google search ( did not read reviews until I interacted) and after the fact when I read the reviews I was able to relate with all these wonderful long elaborated posts about him as a person , their catering services and food !!

Raj is a great person and professional to work with when it comes to catering - he was so approachable, very patient with my 100s of questions , took tike to understand our catering needs , not just took the order but provided advise and recommendations ( yes I am not talking about finances but food here :))! He not only provided superlicius food , which everyone LOVED at the party, but also like a good friend / advisor reminded me about the other must have items to make our guests comfortable .

I took another class which was the Thai one and loved it. Chef Taylor is so passionate about East Asian cuisine and knowledgeable. I love that she added her own flare to the recipes, which staying true to the cuisine. I also love that she had the class taste each meal before adding key seasoning that way you can taste the difference in flavour. Loved the Mexican cooking class. This was my first time taking a class with Chef Upstairs and it was fabulous. Louie was so friendly, polite, and knowledgeable. He interacted with everyone and was patient with questions. Adamo was very friendly and such a sweetheart. He was right on the ball with making sure we had everything we needed, filling water glasses even before asking for more, and was efficient with the cleanup. The food was very tasty and easy to prepare and I can’t wait to make some of the dishes at home. Highly recommend Chef Upstairs. If you take the Mexican class, the shrimp salad and chicken tacos are incredible.“
