“Yesterday, my two friends got married and had the reception at P&M's Restaurant. We had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and home made. The perogies were out of this world. The dinner was served hot and delicious. The cherry cheesecake was divine.
The staff were great, friendly and very professional and you felt at home there. Everything ran so smoothly.
It's funny; a couple of years ago, I went there for lunch with my sister and when I walked in the restaurant, I thought to myself that this place looked so familiar. Then I remember that in the late 1980's and early 1990's, I used to go to this restaurant many, many times with my former roommate. We loved the place then and I love it now. They have renovated the place since the 90's but I remember the outlay.
I was mentioning to my sisters a while back that it is so hard to find family oriented mom & pop restaurants these day but when you go to P&M, that is what you get. Great food, great prices, great staff and a great experience.
I recommend this to all. We will be returning again soon.“

“I was shocked at how large the portion size was for the price. Def great value. It's 18 bucks for the mixed wrap combo. The wrap is giant, the size of your forearm. A good change from Lebanese shawarma. We came here 30 minutes before closing but would def like to try when its their prime hours.“

“Visited from out of town. Wanted to grab a bite at the Danforth, aka Greek Town. Staff was very friendly and the Greek style gyros looked fresh. It tasted amazing. Husband tried the Kontosouvli. It was a very generous portion of meat. Gyros sandwiches were also quite generous.“

“Greek taverna is our family's go to when ordering food. The Greek salad is always fresh and the dressing is so good. However, I must express my disappointment in the Greek salad dressing. For quite awhile the dressing hadn't been consistently good. When I first started going there the dressing was so flavourful that I would drop in to purchase just the dressing. Now we find it being less flavourful if any flavour at all. Again this is not consistent though. We had the salad two weeks ago and were so happy that the dressing taste flavourful as it should be. Tonight we ordered it and no flavour. Not sure what's going on. It almost taste as though more oil is being poured into the dressing I might have have to go elsewhere. So disappointed“

“Went here for dinner after walking through the Don River trails. We were seated immediately outside on the patio. The service was great and the food came super fast! Everything we got was delicious - bread basket, falafel, salad, chicken souvlaki, potatoes, rice, etc. and all for a very reasonable price. I will definitely be back.“

“We stopped by Mr. Greek in downtown Toronto just before a game, and as expected, it was absolutely packed. Despite how incredibly busy it was, the entire team handled everything with professionalism and a great attitude.
From the moment we sat down, they were upfront and honest about the wait time because of the game day rush, which we really appreciated. It's much better to have realistic expectations than empty promises, and they delivered exactly as they said they would.
The food was fresh, hot, and delicious, and our drinks arrived promptly. What impressed us most was the staff's ability to stay calm and organized while managing a full restaurant. Even with some impatient customers around us, the team remained polite, professional, and focused on making sure everyone was looked after.

“I can’t say enough good things about Mr. Souvlaki. From the staff to the freshness and quality of the food—everything is superb.

The staff are always friendly and willing to accommodate small requests or substitutions, which really makes a difference. The owner, Guy, is especially amazing. He genuinely knows his customers and even greets them in their own language. I’m Filipino, and he always says “salamat” (thank you) and “kamusta” (how are you), which is such a thoughtful touch. You can tell people love him, and it really shows the strong relationships he builds with his customers.

The portions are always generous, and you definitely get great value for your money.

One experience that really stood out to me was when I walked in after they had already closed, hoping there might still be something left for dinner. Everything was cleaned up and put away, but instead of turning me away, he asked what I wanted and told me to give him five minutes. I thought he’d just put together something simple like a salad with chicken—but he actually prepared a full souvlaki dinner plate for me. (Look at the presentation)

He handed me the foo and , I realized the register was already closed and I only had Apple Pay. Without hesitation, he told me not to worry about it. I was honestly shocked. I had every intention of tipping him well for going above and beyond, but instead, I ended up receiving the meal for free. I told him I’d make sure to pay him back next time, and he just smiled and said, “Salamat.”

That level of kindness and generosity is rare. This place isn’t just about great food—it’s about genuine hospitality. Highly recommended!“

“Came here Sunday for my birthday

The level of service was incredible, our server Neha was great, attentive, knowledgeable, friendly and bubbly. The perfect balance of attentiveness to the table while giving my partner and I the space to enjoy our evening in private. Also asked all the right questions and hit all the points of service. I’ve worked in the industry for 15 years and not easily impressed and Neha delivered.

The other service staff were on point as well, promptly clearing dishes when plates were finished, checking in and wiping the table between courses.

This leaves us at the food. Not bad, but for a Greek resto leaves a bit to be desired. The warm mushroom salad was great, really enjoyed this dish and the creativity behind it. The wood fired halloumi was good, but needs fresh lemon to cut the sweetness of the dish.

For our main we ordered the platter for two, but it only came with one pita, for a bill of $175 for two people, I think a second pita could be included. The chicken and lamb souvlaki was on point, the kofta needs more freshness, more herbs and flavour. Overall I would return how ever.

​Ham and Egg Sandwich: A letdown. It was essentially just scrambled eggs and ham stuffed between plain rye bread. With no butter, mayo, or sauce to add moisture, it was quite dry and difficult to eat.
