“This experience exceeded our expectations! We went there for our 15 year wedding anniversary they made sure we got recognized for it and celebrated us! The host was actually from Italy so he made you feel as if you were visiting Italy. Every wine and food course was given a detailed explanation of what is was how it was made and where it originated from! 5 star service 5 star food!“

“We had a delightful visit at Alexana. Mike did an outstanding job describing the Alexana gravity-based winemaking approach, coupled with a tour of the cellar at the beginning. We focused on Alexana’s Pinots, tasting 5 different wines. We particularly appreciated the way the wines were presented, in “pairings”, which allowed us compare and contrast the wines. We will visit again!“

“Recently became members after the first time we stopped by and wow this place is truly so beautiful and peaceful! The tastings are fabulous and I love how they host other events which gives it a social club feel. We were having such an amazing time we didn’t even realize how much time passed by! “A real hidden gem. I've been going for 5 years and have never had a bad wine. They all range from good to excellent and very reasonably priced for the quality. Their events are my favorite, especially the rose launch party and twilight concerts in the summer.“

“This winery has an INCREDIBLE view! The sommelier was incredibly kind and outgoing and made us feel right at home. I love that this winery is named after the falcons and raptors in the area. Got to see a beautiful red tailed hawk from our table! Highly recommended!“

“Wine was very good. I think what set them apart was their Rose, Chardonnay and Pinot Noir were all worth purchasing, and we did. Seems rare for a winery to excel across multiple categories.

My only complaint is the tasting fee is expensive given you need to purchase $70 or $75 worth of product to waive just one tasting. For $35 you’re better off ordering 3-4 glasses at table for your party. The tasting pours are tiny…an ounce or less. Truly, just a taste. Go to catch the view and enjoy a glass of wine…they’re all delicious and worth the price. Don’t waste money on the tasting.“

“I have gone a couple times now. My friend and I attended Bingo night and it was so fun! It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. I highly recommend this spot and looking forward to checking out some of their other event nights.“

“I love this place! We are from out of town, the last 2 weeks I've been thinking of eating here, lol. And they did not disappoint! Went on a Thursday around dinner, it was busy! A little warm inside as Newberg was having a heat wave, but understandable. Estimated time, 20 minutes and it was spot on. Worth the wait, food was fresh, hot and tasted just like I remembered. One of my favorite places to go when we come to Newberg.“

“My husband & I have been eating at Happy Family for a couple years now. (Miss chicken fried rice no/onion & Mister salt & pepper squid with hot & sour soup!)
You get a nice portion of food at an extremely great price, and the owners of the restaurant are ALWAYS so friendly, receptive, & pleasant to see. After talking with the owner tonight found out their lease situation might be forcing them to move on. We are so sad to hear this & hope that things will work out in their favor no matter what the outcome! Extremely nice people that deserve the best!

“Very traditional Chinese American food. The service was excellent. We got a meal for 4 to go. The portions are very generous. While we waited I had asked for some soup I was really hungry. They generously provided me a cup of soup. The inside is not fancy, but they do have a nice bar (I did not go into the bar. But seemed decent enough) I would really recommend this place. STOP and get a meal to go for the coast. You won't regret it. Oh yes, its super affordable too!“
