“today I chose to stop in and have a bite. I was pleasantly surprised to have the option of tripe tacos, but when they were offered as crispy, I couldn't believe it. They were absolutely amazing and I plan to stop in again if I'm in the area and I will definitely recommend to anyone who will listen. Great service, good prices and good done right“

“I ordered a torta sin lechuga because of an allergy. Many places mess this up or do not take me seriously. My order was correct the first time and delicious! I didn't realize the order also came with chips which was a nice surprise. The gentleman who took my order was very friendly and honored my attempt to order in broken Spanish for practice. Many locations respond in English and make me feel bad for not speaking perfect Spanish, but that was not the case here. I will be sure to return!“

“I’ve spent most of my life bouncing between Mexico and California, and I will say my standards are high when it comes to Mexican food. I don’t look for Michelin Star quality - I look for authentic, tastes-like-abuela’s-cooking. While passing through Albany, I stopped at Victorico’s without knowing anything about it, it was just a convenient location.
I stepped in and first found the restaurant to be small, but very clean - a huge step up from similar restaurants I’ve been to. The cashier was friendly (although she didn’t know what I ordered was actually on the menu), and the menu itself was on digital boards; easy to read with a wide variety, and very fair pricing.
I’ve been missing tortas, as I don’t live in a place with Mexican food, so I ordered a cheese steak torta. I must say, the first bite zoomed me back to a hot Mexicali kitchen, biting into some of the best asada I’ve ever had in a torta. It was absolutely delicious and a bit emotional, as well (I do miss my dear Lilia!).

“My favorite butcher shop so far, literally almost always has the cuts of meats im looking for and good cuts as well, they'll even reserve pork fat for aroma oils I make for ramen if you call them in the morning. My only complaint is that they dont sell pork bones, but those I can get at an Asian Market so not a big complaint.“
