Only callout is that this place does the “Trader Joes during Covid” approach where you have to line up outside and they let you in one by one. This is likely because of their popularity and small space, so be prepared and get there before they open.

“Wow, some fusion hits, some don't at all, but some hit it out of the park. This place is the latter, really well cooked burger, nice bun, toppings are fresh. I absolutely love the salad and kyoza for the sides. Great menu and fast too. Everyone was pleasant, cooks busy and efficient, FOH attentive and pleasant. Well done!!“

“We came in about an hour before close, they welcomed us in and let us pick our seats. We were attended to promptly and got our orders in. The chef came out to ask if I was aware of what I was ordering (beef pho with only tripe, since I love tripe and my kids also love it and always steal most of it from me). I kindly let him know we did know and appreciated him making sure we knew what we were ordering. They seemed quite delighted that my young children (7 and 10) were enjoying the tripe so much. Towards the end, my daughter tried a piece of jalapeño that I had added and had been sitting in the soup and had been diluted. She decided that it was not spicy and brazenly attempted to eat a slice of raw jalapeño that came with the pho as well and immediately regretted it. She was in tears and the server was so nice and offered her candies to help with the spice. When she noticed it wasn't helping while I was trying to pay, she got the chef and he came back and gave my daughter milk that helped a bunch. They did not even charge extra, though I did offer. As we were leaving, my daughter gratefully looked up at me and said "mama, they're so kind" with her teary eyes and a smile. We will 100% be back. Super tasty food at a good price but most importantly, such lovely staff members. I am beyond grateful to them for our experience tonight.“

“It's been getting really cold here in Beaverton and I decided to try pho for the first time. I tried the combo beef pho here was amazing! I have some allergies with MSG, so here in BEP there is no MSG in the food. My experience there was really good. With great employees and great service, I could tell that there were intention and care put into this place. Will be coming back soon.“

The portions were generous, making it a great value for the price. This is definitely more of a takeout focused restaurant than a sit down spot, but the quality of the food is excellent. If you're looking for delicious Korean food with good portion sizes and fast service, Seoul Grill is well worth a visit.“

“I went in to enjoy a meal by myself as I’ve never been to P.F. Chang’s. I was promptly greeted by a young lady with glasses and sat within just a few minutes of getting in. My waitress, Amber, was very knowledgeable on the specials and the menu, patient and very kind. I ended up ordering the limited time Sakura Spritz and the limited time Bao Buns(appetizer) and then a limited time smoking dragon roll and they’re chefs special of the Mongolian Trio and topped it off with their limited time desert.

I’m definitely sick after eating this much but I have to admit that I was a big fan of the Cocktail, Bao Buns, Mongolian Trio and the desert- the Dragon roll was a miss for me personally but still solid.

The only complaint I have is a minor one but the table I was at felt sticky.

I can’t express how great the service was across the board- quick to sit, knowledgeable, quick and kind waitress who was able to time out the Appetizer, Entre, Desert and drinks perfectly all while being attentive and not having felt rushed I wish I could give a higher rating.

If you decide to visit off this rating I would try and ask to sit in Ambers section, you’ll be in great hands.“

After telling her how they’re nothing like boring American sandwiches, she agreed to give one a try. We were up at Mt. St. Helens, so I had some time to tell her how they were a staple where I grew up(Bay Area) and how great the last one I had a few years ago in Hawai’i was. Anyway, we finally arrive and having never been here previously, were super impressed with the layout and the vibe of the place. We both ordered pork belly sammys and an order of wontons. It was great to see the look on her face when she took the first bite, her eyes lit up and a smile followed. She now knew the culinary joy I had in my younger years. This place is funky and cozy in the best of ways, and the food is spot on and joyous the senses, plus the staff are super friendly and awesome! I live nowhere near this place(I’m in Canby) and would have no problem traveling here for another taste. Check it out, you won’t be disappointed!!!!!“

“What a wonderful tea! By far the best scones we've ever had, accompanied by an extensive tea selection and delicious yummy treats. The tea rooms are beautifully decorated and the cup and saucer collection is impressive. The servers were so kind and attentive, and the views of the lake add to the ambiance. We love this place!“

Atmosphere is humble, and that's a good thing. Sometimes you need to be at a place like this that is cozy and comfortable on a Thursday afternoon. Oh yeah one thing to note that the service is very slow.

“First time trying & don't know what took me so long. I'm a big fan of Katsu Chicken but rarely order it especially if done with chicken breast. It's rare to find chicken breast not overly dry so avoid ordering it. They told me they use thigh meat for all their dishes so went with it. This was wonderful, cooked to perfection, & a huge amount of food. I will be eating on it for two days. The place was super clean & put the food out quickly. I can't wait to try some of their other dishes.“

“It has been a long time since I’ve gone to a teriyaki restaurant because my wife has resisted it. Our friends wanted to go here and, I was excited, and my wife agreed. We both had the chicken teriyaki lunch special, which come with chicken teriyaki on a bed of white rice, a side of either sweet and sour chicken or three pot stickers, and a small side salad with a house dressing. I just assumed the sweet and sour chicken was what I receive in a Chinese restaurant. Boy was I wrong! It was like way over cooked fried chicken. It was so hard that it was difficult to eat and there was absolutely no sweet or sour flavor. My wife said the pot stickers were soft but did not taste very good. Fortunately, the teriyaki chicken was very good and adding the sauce to the rice made the rice very good. The house sauce on the salad was very good. The lunch special came with a soft drink and the entire lunch was $13.50. The lady behind the counter was very nice but speaks Japanese and very little English. I tried to tell her the chicken was almost inedible but she had no idea what I was saying. We do not live in Portland so there is almost no chance we will eat there again but I would recommend the chicken teriyaki with fried rice, which our friends had and they said it was very good.“

“pros- best beef pho in the pacific northwest. subjective, sure. frankly, the noodles are almost always undercooked, but the portion is perfect, and its easily the best broth from any american vietnamese restaurant ive been to, and ive eaten a lot of pho, at lot of different places from numerous corners of the world. the brisket and lean steak are mid, but definitely beef, and beef is delicious in general. no complaints. the meatballs are magical tho. i dont even want to know whats in them because theyre too good.

the broth though. god damn- literally tastes like heaven. you could tell me its toilet water made with spoilt meat and im still getting it every time. its sooo good.

speaking of god.... the only con is they pretty much always play strictly jesus music over the speakers. im not a god fearing man, and its actually more funny than anything, and not a big deal. its just kinda weird to feel like im in church rather than in a spot to fill my tummy. another con would be the fake sriracha and hoisin sauce bottles are always sticky and gross. small price to pay for the best pho on the west coast though. they do provide napkins, lol, and the restaurant is generally clean overall. $17.50 for my bowl of beef combo pho at time of writing.

“I dined at the Kung Fu kitchen for the first time and I was pleasantly surprised at how fresh, well combined and balanced the taste of egg flower soup was. I ordered the number 3 combo which included fried shrimp, subgum chicken chow mein, sweet and sour chicken and a small order of pork fried rice. The food was classic American Chinese cuisine, done right. The food was hot and cooked perfectly. I also, enjoyed watching the Chinese cooking channel which made the atmosphere pleasant and really highlghted the beauty, love and complexity the Chinese bring to their traditional dishes. The foods being cooked looked delicious. The service was kind and add quit. I definitely will return for more tasty meals. I recommend trying this restaurant if your looking for a well rounded, well priced and solid Chinese American dinning experience. Oh, and my favorite dish was the egg flower soup😉, yummy! ❤️“

“Me and my boyfriend moved to Oregon in 2023 and this was one of the first places we tried and fell in love with! The food is always made with quality fresh ingredients, comes out super hot, and is consistently delicious! Their orange chicken with the Mac salad is our absolute favorite! The owners are always so kind and remember us by name. They truly care about their customers experience and take pride in what they do. “It's always a premium sushi experience. Interesting flavors, cocktails, and I always recommend mixing it up and trying new things. Favorites include the spicy tuna crispy rice, green machine, salmon flight, Negihama roll, and the King Salmon Nigiri with yakumi. You can't really miss here, only thing I would ding is the signature sashimis are a bit pricy and it's not a quiet romantic place but rather volume driven but food and service are excellent! Make sure to reserve a table they can get busy often:)“
