“Anytime I'm in McMinnville I make sure to eat here. I live in Hillsboro with probably over 100 Mexican food trucks and restaurants and feel confident saying this is the best Mexican food I've ever had. Everything is top notch and grilled to perfection, the salsa bar is the icing on the cake. I could seriously drink all the salsa they serve. If you haven't tried this place you are missing out on this one of a kind gem.

“We were at Humble Spirit last night and were blown away by our meal . We started with the meatballs and veggie platter, we had the pasta, chicken and the daily special of duck. Every one of the meals was absolutely divine !! The pasta is by far one of the best pasta dishes I have ever eaten. I highly recommend you try Humble Spirit !“

“This place is a must visit! Upon arrival, our host Brandon greeted us with umbrellas to escort us to the tasting room which is absolutely darling! He started up a fire for us and brought us all hot towels infused with calming essential oils. Brandon was very knowledgeable about the land and all of the wines. The wines were phenomenal, we walked away with a few bottles. I am so happy that we were able to visit them. Do yourself a favor and book this place!“

“Such amazing food! And the portions are HUGE!!!!! Worth every penny. We get El Primo once every two weeks it seems ha! It’s that good! And look at the size of that burger! We always order take out, and part of that usually means less food. But that NEVER happens with El Primo. We’ve had dinner at the restaurant too a few times. And they’re wonderful. The inside is bigger than it looks. And the bar side is super cozy. 100/10 recommend!“

“My wife, my mother-in-law and I ate here again tonight for probably the 6th or 7th time. The food has always been good. The staff and servers were good as always, but huge shout out to Arthur. If you are a restaurant owner looking for a Greg server, Arthur is your guy. Trust me, I told him before I walked out. If I was a restaurant owner looking for a good server. I'd pay you twice what they're paying you. Five stars or 10 Stars depending on what you're rating is, but great experience overall,“

“Unbelievable. A hidden McMinnville gem. In business for 17 years. They make their own tortilla chips which were unlike anything I have ever tasted. Light, warm and crisp. The pork burrito was plentiful (2 meals for an old guy), very moist and tender. Rice and beans were home cooked, fresh and delicious. Service was fast, friendly and efficient. Because of the high ceilings with exposed beams your conversation stays at your table as there is no echo. Prices were very reasonable. You may sit inside or out. Go!“

“We love Nancy Jo's. The food is great, the service is very casual but always friendly. And while the atmosphere is a bit shabby, it's always clean. Unfortunately our last order used sesame seed buns, which were a huge disappointment as I'm severely allergic to sesame. We're hopeful that it was just a supply issue with their regular buns and will be sure to double check what there using next time.“

“We were a group of five people and were seated in the back area of the restaurant. My view was of a stack of boxes of storage items that they keep behind the wall behind the front desk. The food was good and was served quickly. It was a little lacking in flavor. It's typical Chinese fare. I took home half of it for another meal the next day.“

“I have driven this rout since 2000 and have passed by this spot probably 100 times. Here we are 25 years later, haven't been this way since college and dropped in today on a whim, I figured if they're still open it must be good. We'll I was right, it was amazing, probably the best bbq pork I've ever had and they're fried chicken pieces were a 10/10 100% american style Chinese food and they wear it proud as they should.“

“Hit the McMenamins Pub, McMinnville, Oregon on a recent visit and had a Capt. Neon Burger with tots and a Dirty Shirley.
The Capt. Neon Burger shows up looking unapologetically hearty. A soft, lightly toasted bun cradles a thick, juicy beef patty cooked to a satisfying char on the outside while staying tender inside. Crisp lettuce and fresh red onion add crunch and bite, while the bacon brings smoky richness that anchors the whole stack. It’s a straightforward burger done confidently...no gimmicks, just solid execution. The toothpick through the top is a small detail, but it reinforces that classic pub-burger presentation.
The tater tots on the side are exactly what you want them to be: golden, crunchy on the outside, fluffy inside, and clearly fried with care. Dunked into the generous pool of ketchup, they’re nostalgic in the best way

The Dirty Shirley is pure throwback fun with a grown-up twist. Served ice-cold in a tall glass, it’s fizzy, lightly sweet, and refreshingly tart. “It took the restaurant a while to figure out they needed to go back to table service. Today we were there and wanted take out, which we got, but we're happy to see table service is back! We have always liked the food, and it didn't disappoint today. They have refreshed the atmosphere and lighting, and provided additional comfortable seating for those waiting for take out. Service was amazingly quick, as it has always been for us. We are looking forward to returning to eat in. Their hours have also increased, and they are open Saturdays for dinner.“
