“Normally Mac n' Cheese is not my go to, but it was nice to try something different and was blown away by how great it tasted. My gf and I wanted to try a little of the cheddar sauce and the Old (creamy garlic) sauce together, Evan said sure thing I can mix them together for you. It was the perfect amount of cheddar and parmesan garlic flavoring, not overpowering, but savory and delicious! The pasta was perfectly done, it was soft and shaped to hold the flavorful sauce. We both loved it, and would recommend trying it.“
“The atmosphere of this place was SO inviting and seemed to encourage conversation with your neighboring tables. The service was friendly and informative. And, most importantly, our breakfast was delicious. We plan to go back over and over again!“
“We made a reservation for our party of 4 for brunch and were seated on time. Our server was super friendly and nice. The restaurant was cute. But we would not return here. The breakfasts we ordered were all just ok. My sister had Migas Tart (vegetarian quiche) with potatoes as a side. I ordered random sides as there was no option for someone who is dairy free. My mom ordered mushroom and butternut scramble. The potatoes were over fried and my biscuit was over baked. Nothing special at all about any of the foods we ordered. We were excited to try it and were disappointed. Even if the ambience is good and the server was excellent, if the food isn’t good enough, we don’t return.“
“My husband mainly has become a regular and I get to join him on the occasion. From the kitchen staff, waiters and owner everyone makes you feel at home. The oysters and beans and rice are some of the highlights if you can believe it. If you’re in town and wanting oysters don’t hesitate to make this your first stop!“
“This place is amazing! The food was incredible. But the service really set this place apart. The owner and the staff were super friendly and welcoming. Best experience I've had at a restaurant in a long time. Support great businesses like this.“
“I don’t know how they get the chicken that crispy, but they do. The food is great, and made to order so there’s a reasonable wait but it’s just that much better. The stacks are fun to try and deconstruct because honestly they’re huge! Great coffee, too. Genuinely nice people; it’s a new fave.Parking: Classic Mississippi Ave parking, mostly unavailable, but get their early enough and there’s some right in front“
“Beautiful place. Great food. I didn’t eat all of my salad and asked for a “to go box”. Not only did they bring me a box, they brought me a made salad, with a side of dressing so I could have a fresh salad tomorrow “not soggy left overs.” Such a small act of kindness will leave a mark forever. My family and I will be back, many times.“
“Bro, the servers were so sweet. The outside party crowd seemed to have a blast even in the rain, and the inside was more intimate. My only petty complaint was the music was kind of loud inside? But my friend discovered a delightful new beer there, and I loved the Brussel sprouts.Dietary restrictions: I asked if all the cheese and dairy add on could be done to the side or excluded- they were more than understanding. No hassle.“
“Outstanding food! The cook is wonderful and helpful about what is gluten free! The portion sizes are very large but you will not want your stop eating them!We were certain we wanted to come here after the ear piercing. So, we had called the night before and found out most of their food is gluten free except the gumbo. My husband is gluten free so I had the Trinity gumbo. He had the red beans and rice. Hands down some of the best we have had! I would recommend to anyone looking for Cajun in PDX. My husband was told about this spot from a coworker and we looked it up. We love Cajun food, so it was a must try. We would go back in a heartbeat. If you have a good allergy, call them and they know all of their ingredients/spices well to aide you. I can’t wait to go back!Dietary restrictions: Very well knowledgeable on the ingredients and allergies associated with their foods. Would recommend to anyone with allergy restrictions to call and ask. They are awesome and hope you can enjoy it!“
“First time in this restaurant bar lounge. bar tender took my order but was not helpful with any ideas or sides I need to ask for. Bread does not come with a lobster tail order. I had to ask for that. I saw an to go order was placed in plain view for 2 bartenders to give to the right customer. They just ignored it. So after about 8 to 10 minutes I was able to ask if I could get my order and he acted like it just came up done. So he grabbed the order and while he was haning it to me I asked him if everything was in the bag and he nodded and said yes that I'm good to go. So I left and when I got out to my vehicle I proceeded to look in the bag and the food was all there but no NAPKINS!!!!NO UTENSILS!!!!!! NO LOBSTER BUTTER!!!!!! OR ANY SAUCE FOR ANYTHING BUT THE FRIES!!!! the food was good especially the clam chowder. Loved it. Youd think that for a 75 dollar bill and a 20 dollar tip youd think I would have at least got napkins for heavens sake. Over all good food price for food seemed average to good. Quality of food was good. Taste was excellent. Service was not so good and need work. Bar tenders should be trained better or should see outside the box.Clam chowder is not on the list below.“
“Wow, delicious JambalayaI appreciated that she asked, when handing me my hefty serving, which sauce I might want. "Sauce?" She pointed to the list posted on the window. Ah! As she started noting which were mild, I jumped in: "What's your hottest?" She handed me a little cup of their fiery pineapple chili sauce. Delicious and a heat that I could control when adding to my dish. Loved the whole experience!“
