“Today was my first day at this new location!!! I say wow …it’s great. There was three workers today all very friendly I really want to use the word delightful. It’s perfect with space and conversation area and games & treats and even one of the workers shared about upstairs. (Bonus) This move was perfect…it’s calm inviting, comfortable ….I see lots of different small gatherings of people that just have not seen the new Legacy in downtown Gresham…they need to know about your wonderful secret. I will return. ***I have only one thing that could make going there more fun and convenient…to be able to frequent ….sadly it closes way too early. People that work 8-5 …five days a week miss the opportunity to get to know you. I wish you would be open till at least 7pm on week nights and have later hours on Sundays than current. It’s good for people to have more hours to pop in. The look of the coffee shop, the coffee, the workers are Fabulous. Access could really increase interest. It is something that the people need to help draw us out of our fear of others and to heal from our time of self captivity. The food and the variety are fantastic. “The Gresham location is now the only La Carreta still around that I am aware of. I have been going to La Caretta for over 30 years. I was very disappointed to see the SE Portland location close.
Great food! Best Mexican food in town. Chips and salsa is all you can eat and is constantly being refilled.
The atmosphere is loud and crowded. Booths are small. 4 people fit but it's cramped. It was also very hot in the restaurant.
Drinks are well made and there is a large selection of exotic drinks. Prices are reasonable. Take out is just as good as eating in the restaurant.“

“Got an order of plantains. While waiting for them I decided to order something else. I didn’t take a picture of the original plantains or the meal I ordered because I ate it too fast. Ended up going back for 2 more orders of plantains for the road. The one pictured is the only one that made it home, It was a lady in the back and a gentleman up front taking orders. They were both friendly and it didn’t take long for any of my orders to come up. When I come back I will definitely be ordering more food.“

“Stayed here with my mom this weekend it was amazing as always. We really just walked the property had dinner at the power house pub and soaked in the soaking pool. We finished off with breakfast at the black rabbit. It was very busy but the staff were relaxed and amazing. Always a good time“

“Sugarpine Drive-In ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Sugarpine Drive-In, a converted 1920’s gas station located on the banks of the Sandy River in Troutdale, Oregon opened in July 2018. I have wanted to visit it ever since I read about it four years ago in Sunset magazine. I was excited to finally have the chance to check it out on 9/15/22. Sugarpine Drive-In is owned by chefs Emily Cafazzo and Ryan Domingo. They have a small but eclectic menu of comfort foods with a twist and creative ice cream sundaes with toppings like pinenut honeycomb crunch, miso caramel, and blueberry-lavender sauce. There are a few tables inside, as well as more located outside, most of which are covered and/or in shade. Because this business is so popular, there is lots of signage all around instructing you how to order etc. The drive-through is only for ice cream, drinks and fast snacks. If you want to order a meal, you need to walk up to the window. There are menus on a table to your right as you enter the door. You are encouraged to know what you wish to order before you get up to the window, though they are more than happy to answer questions. To the right of the window are specials. This business is dog friendly. I ordered The Sugarpine BLT ($15) - Thick sliced bacon with heirloom tomatoes, butter lettuce, cucumber and basil aïoli on thick-sliced Oyatsupan milk bread. It came with a bag of Tim’s Cascade potato chips and a wrapped pickle spear. While the sandwich would have benefited from a little more bacon, it was excellent! I liked the generous portion of heirloom tomatoes, the buttery crunch of the lettuce and the subtly flavored basil aïoli, which enhanced but didn’t overpower the BLT. As much as I wanted to, and as much as I love ice cream, I just didn’t have it in me to order a sundae. I would’ve felt bad just taking a couple of bites and leaving the rest. They do offer 4 ounce servings of all of the sundaes.  One of the reasons I haven’t been able to visit this business in the past is because it’s only open a few days a week from 11 AM to 5 PM and the days/hours did not coincide with when I was driving through. I was lucky to arrive during an off time on a Thursday when it wasn’t too busy, but soon after I got there it began to fill up. I’m sure it’s a lot busier on the weekends.  Highly Recommended!!!“

“Service was fantastic. Person taking order was very friendly and came out right away. Chef salad was loaded and tasted very fresh. Wife ordered the Fettuccine Alfredo and it looked like it was made there not some pre made dish. It was lacking Alfredo sauce which made it mainly noodles, but that did bring out plenty of sauce on the side when requested and it made the dish much better. Garlic rolls were done just right. The Wall Street grinder was tasty with plenty inside. The bread maybe could have been just a tiny bit less crunchy, but still tasted great.“

“The food is OK, even though the beer is great! We ordered the fish and chips and the Aztec salad with fried chicken.

The fish and chips were good, although the portion size for the price was a bit disappointing. The remoulade was great though! The chicken on the salad was done really well, but the salad was kind of meh. Definitely not something that keeps a person coming back. Plus, the prices are high in comparison to other places with more interesting menus. It might be time for McMenamins to freshen up their food offerings.

The atmosphere is typical McMenamins, lots of vintage kitsch. It's cool and I love that they bring new life to old buildings and institutions (literally in this case). Service here was fine.“
