“Whoah! Best Al Pastor taco I’ve ever had! SO much flavor, how did they do that! I got the 2 taco plate. 1 Al Pastor and 1 chicken taco, both were amazing but I’ve never tasted the flavors that deep in Al Pastor meat, SO GOOD!! And the salsas they gave me, delicious! I wanted to walk back and tell them in person how delicious everything was but they JUST closed up shop here at the Woodburn outlets. Thank you ladies! We will definitely be back 👏🏼“

“I feel so lucky to live near Monarca because it is by far my favorite spot in town! They make the best breakfast burritos, but emphasis on their veggie breakfast for actually including yummy veggies. Most places will give you a burrito with egg, potato, and cheese if you don’t want meat. I’ve tried many other items and never have had anything bad. 10/10 recommend + their friendly service is an added bonus!“

“Absolutely delicious chicken flautas with salsa verde. Quesabirria tacos with consomme were perfect. Tamale was tender, not dry, and full of flavor. Prices are reasonable and hospitality was warm and friendly. Can't wait to go back again!“

“Four of us dined in for a late lunch early dinner. 3 of us shared the Tour of Oaxaca platter, 4th person the Shrimp Fajita. Very attentive service, portions were generous. “Have driven by this establishment many times, finally stopped. What a gem! The place is unassuming but very clean. Came for breakfast, surprisingly large selection. We got breakfast burritos. Very affordable. They were huge, and excellent quality. Did I happen to say huge? Cheese, potatoes, eggs, your choice of breakfast meats and cooked to perfection. I added refried beans, crema, onions, cilantro and the salsa that came with chips...excellent! The waitstaff were friendly and helpful to non Latinos. Would I eat here again? Absolutely 💯!!! If you are looking for somewhere to eat, I highly recommend 👌“

The proportions of ingredients was great, not just a ton of lettuce or rice as fillers for the taco salad or burritos. It was a little before lunch time so everything came out super quick.“

I drive past here all the time, stopped on a whim, best tamales and pozole i had since my Aubela(grandma). Highly recommended, get there early if you want queso tamals... they were sold out when I went.... the Verde and Rojo mole con pollo are fire though...

“I saw their FB post and it sounded interesting, so I Googled them to take a look at their whole menu. What caught my eye was the birria egg rolls, so I thought I’d give them a try, and boy am I glad I did. I opted for the avocado salsa and that made them even more yummy. Will have guacamole on hand next time because I think that would be amazing, will definitely be getting those again.“
