“We love this place! We eat here regularly, and truly enjoy the food, cocktails, service, and ambiance. The black cod miso yaki is our favorite dish - it's delicious and I highly recommend it. The veggie and shrimp tempura is the best I've ever had, with an interesting mix of eggplant, mushrooms, squash, lotus root, and onions - all lightly battered and served with a delightful dipping sauce (pour the dipping sauce on the black cod, it's so good). The cocktails, especially the Japanese 75 and the shiso gin drink (I can't think of the name), are well-balanced and mixed properly, and are very yummy. I tell everyone I know to try this place! Some of the food can seem adventurous if you're not familiar with Japanese fare, but it's all delicious and beautifully presented. Finally, the atmosphere is warm and welcoming, and the owner is a very sweet and funny lady. All around, Sushi Kuni is a great dining experience and I highly recommend checking it out.“

“This was our first time here and we were truly impressed. The hostess was awesome, the food was delicious and the atmosphere was perfect. There's outside seating as well. I had the hand breaded chicken stripes y husband had fish and chips. Three breading was the best I've ever had and the chicken was tender and juicy. The prices are average for this area. They have a happy hour menu for Sun-Thurs that's for lots of choices. We will definitely return.“

“First time visiting this coffee shop. I'm sorry I didn't visit sooner. Was able to smell the great food, and see a toasted club sando being assembled. Out front a small sidewalk table with 2 eating small plates and large coffees. Inside were several small tables with a few customers reading and chatting. It was 1/2 hour before closing at 3:30pm. I ordered two med. Drinks to go. I was greeted promptly and waited a very short time. The coffee's were wonderful. The surprise was the many shaded tables for 4 out back on the patio. The prices are a great value nowadays as well! We're coming back often... No more corporate sugar chains....lol“

After the 3RD time of no halibut, me calling and being told they had it in, but couldn't order it because of Valentines day, to come in Monday and they would have it. They did it again. We ordered and were told they were out! When Brian Grant was manager not one time were we ever told that.“

If you want a fantastic whiskey burger that's actually cooked medium rare, that's what you will get with high quality beef and the salad with the cheeses raisins and nuts was tasty. Friendly staff and atmosphere. Fries were perfect too. Definately going back.“
