“Update to update - still very disappointed at our first visit. I don't know what went wrong but our third visit has earned them a place in our regular rotation. I read somewhere that five star family burger (Cornelius) was awarded best burger by some ranking - I don't remember - but the point is I've had a five star and if that ranks the best I have to imagine someone failed to try the fireman's at CC. My previous visit to CC I had a special (burger) and it was good but I just demolished a fireman and it was everything a burger should be. Juicy, beefy, perfect sear, brilliantly seasoned, and a bun that contained it all perfectly. 11/10. And the wings - soooo good. Glad we came back.“
“This pizza is easily Mcminnville's finest!Neopolitan, with locally sourced and house made ingredients. The creativity, ever changing specials and seasonal awareness are brilliant! The staff is friendly, professional, curteous, and never overbearing. I love this restaurant for many reasons! Don't skip the arancini, it is masterful, and also incorporates seasonal special inspiration in addition to the standard tried and true. The short ribs with polenta will have you comforted, and tearing up at the same time! I can give my highest recommendation for this restaurant! Chef Jeremy has some very simple and delicious direction, with truly amazing creativity, and with a relatively tight space he manages to crank out busy service with what appears to be "ease". “This is a great, casual place with a good variety on menu. We visited from East Coast and this was first place we stopped on way to our accomodations. Pizza was very tasty. Service was great too. We enjoyed so much that we stopped again at end of our trip. Had the Cubano sandwich and the special-chicken nachos both so delish! Had a variety of beer and wines selections too. Great place for casual dining.“
“The food is sooooo good. If your in the mood for a unique pizza experiance this is the place. They have regular pizzas also but their specialty pizzas are to die for. They have pre made salads, no salad bar. They have lots of old fashion arcade games and an adult game section. Plenty of TVs if you want to watch the game. “This place is fantastic! We went for a Saturday afternoon meal. They had an elevator to take you to the 3rd floor. We asked for outdoor seating and they quickly accommodated. Our waiter was very kind. My son got a root beer float and a cheeseburger. I got the 1882 pink drink, beet salad, and clam chowder. I wish I'd ordered the bowl of the clam chowder. I try the clam chowder at every place I go. This was by far one of the best I have ever had. It was stuffed with clams and potatoes. It was well worth the money. The restaurant is 3 1/2 hours from my house, and I would come up with an excuse to make the drive back for it.If you find yourself in or driving through McMinnville, make a pitstop and try it. Parking is street parking.“
“This pizza is amazing. The crust isn't too thick but also not too thin. The sauce has enough of a kick to not be bland but to hot enough to turn off picky eaters. However, there is only one size pizza and it's huge.It's inside of the Mac Market, so not especially intuitive to find but inside has a few other options including a bar and craft stores.“
“My husband and I have been to a lot of Papa Murphy's locations and this one in McMinnville is another great one. Their pizza is really great. I especially love the Mediterranean chicken and the artichoke chicken on thin crust. We always get thin crust. It's really good! Most recently I tried their double bacon cheddar pizza and it is delicious as well. The customer service and the store has been excellent. The staff is always friendly and polite. We highly recommend Papa Murphy's in this location in particular.Vegetarian options: They've got a delicious vegetarian pizza.“
“Just took a chance passing through town, and the place looked cute. We had: wood-fired pepperoni pizza, garlic & cheese bread, and their potato & truffle bisque. I'd go out of my way to come back to this place. The flavors were a level-up, so fresh, so layered & decadent. Service was prompt & friendly, great atmosphere, cozy seating, ample selection of beverages (alcoholic & non) for on-premises consumption or take-home. Sweet little ice cream & candy parlor on the other side if you still have room for dessert. Worth the jaunt out to Carlton!“
