But tonight seemed off!!
The girl with the pigtails on 9/19 seemed off!!
Today I ordered my usual and husband grabbed our drinks while baby was running around I was chasing him so I wasn’t able to try the drink right away but when I was able to it tasted wayyyyy off bitter tasting now I knew there was noooo sweetener !! So of course I went to the counter talked to the pig tail gal and said sorry to bother you but this drink seems off!! And she said what’s wrong I said there’s no sweetener in it she back fired with a responds to noooo there is sweetener in there I said no miss there is no sweetener it’s very bitter she said noooo it’s made just fine and didn’t even offer to remake it for me!! She didn’t even believe me luckily Nun correct me if I spelled it wrong she intervened and said hmm umm she is here a lot and she knows her drink I am sure very well!!! She wouldn’t make it up!! I said thank you I am here a lot and I wouldn’t make this up!!! She gladly grabbed my drink and said would you like me to remake it!? I said yes I am so sorry she said noooo it’s not your fault we know you come here a lot and we know you know how it’s suppose to taste !!! She was soooooo warm and very apologetic for what had happened !!!
And I lefted feeling like she really listened to my needs !!!

Point of my story is she made it right she always acts professional and I would promote her to be lead or shift lead she is amazing and very calm and relaxed and handle's situations with professional attitude! I work at starbucks and we get drinks made all the time it’s not a big deal we always help customers!! But that pigtail girl made me feel like my concerns didn’t matter!!! Or want to help!! She didn’t even say sorry to me for snapping at me. Nun deserves a recognition for going above and beyond and helping customers I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND her to a promotion Jason you gotta believe me on this one take my advice!!!!!!

“We come to Boba Cat Tea House pretty often since it’s close to where we live, and it’s become one of our go-to spots for boba.

I usually get matcha, which has really good flavor. Last time I tried it with strawberry compote added, and it was super yummy. My partner usually gets tea with lychee and really enjoys it as well. When we get boba, the pearls are consistently just right. Soft, chewy, and flavorful. The brown sugar milk tea is especially delicious.

I typically order 50% sweetness, which is perfect for me, while my partner prefers 100%, and both options work well depending on taste.

The shop itself is very cute inside and a great place to hang out, though we often grab and go since it’s so convenient for us.

Overall, it’s a reliable, yummy spot we keep coming back to.“

“Good food, nice folks. Tofu banh mi (1 with house special sauce, 1 with bbq) were delicious and filling.
Iced oolong tea with sugar was lightly floral and sweet.

Price was better than I expected for the quality and portion.

While their menu might be a little less familiar to folks used to drinking Boba, I highly encourage getting a sample and trying something new. I love the soymilk slushy with boba or jelly. Their boba is always fresh, and If you’ve never had fresh soy milk, you are missing out. It’s nothing like what you get at the supermarket. Their puddings are amazing. The pandan custard with coconut cream is 10/10. Adorable ambience and always friendly service!“

“Great matcha in a cute neighborhood in SE Portland. Alternative milks available for those with dairy issues. We went specifically for the Peanuts collaboration. For those who can have hazelnuts, it was great! However 3 of us couldn't due to allergies, so we didn't get the specialty cups, etc because we couldn't order off that menu. Madagascar vanilla lattes have great flavor, and the kids love the matcha ice creams.“

“I love this place! They also have another location in Beaverton that I enjoy, but this one feels more spacious and has a cuter vibe. The shop is comfortable, inviting, and a great spot to grab a drink.
I still have so many drinks on the menu to try, but I always end up ordering my favorite the strawberry matcha with brown sugar boba. It's delicious every time. I also love that you can customize the sweetness level to your preference or just leave it at the standard setting.
The service is always wonderful, and the barista who helped me was the sweetest! Friendly service and great drinks keep me coming back.

I’ve tried matcha lattes at various spots around Portland and no one makes them as good as Olia Poke! Their matcha is not too sweet and the bright, fresh green flavor of the tea is the star. So many places the matcha flavor is absent (green milk) or it’s way too sweet. Olia strikes that balance perfectly. Love the staff too, they are so friendly!“

“We accidentally found that Sharetea serves bingsu when we saw a picture of the special. We tried the mango and taro bingsu dessert. We were surprised that the shaved milk was very authentic, light, and fluffy. With a BOGO special of about $8 a bowl, we got to try them. The presentations of the bingsu were good. I prefer the mango bingsu. We will definitely go there again and try out their other flavors. Note: You must order any special items with a human and not the kiosk.“

“If you like it hot, you have to come and try the crispy spicy fish. If you don't like it hot, come with someone who does and have a bite of theirs! Also the pork wonton with spicy oil were excellent. Lunch portion was generous, although the hot & sour soup and spring roll were very pedestrian.

Update: June 2026. Fish and chili oil wonton were still very good, but didn't seem all that spicy (it's still tingling hot). Portion was decent but it wasn't too much for one person to have both a Lunch and an appetizer.“

The server/maker was the nicest person in Portland that we encountered, the honey boba pearls were perfect chewy/melty consistency and our teas were so tasty without being overly sweet. “So, I went to this chocolate café called Anna’s Chocolate Café and Bubble Tea. It’s a small shop inside a larger building. When you walk in, it’s right by the escalator. The chocolates looked a bit odd, not very appetizing. They were selling them for $3 to $4 each. I ended up buying two of them, just because I felt awkward leaving after saying hi to the person working there. They tasted just like regular chocolates you buy at the store, which I wasn’t impressed with. But if you’re interested, check it out.“
