I've been drinking medium roast from the usual PDX roasters, because I've never found a dark roast that I enjoyed, and just assumed I was a medium roast guy. I was having lunch in the DT Hillsboro Main St area and wandered into the store (because coffee), struck up a convo with Mark, who was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. On a whim, I got the Dark Roast Brazil bean, and the next morning, I was so surprised how much I enjoyed it! It was delicious! On top of everything else, it did not upset my stomach.

So now I swing by for the Dark Roast Brazil whenever the supply runs low. I still drink Stumptown/Portland Coffee (medium) roasts, but now I have a dark roast that I absolutely love.“

“Good service. I had a cinnamon roll (which they warmed up for me) and an iced coffee (nothing added). The cinnamon roll was okay, it was a little tough, but the flavor was nice. The iced coffee was good. The atmosphere is your typical coffee shop ambiance, music, people talking, machines running. The furniture is cute and eclectic. Definitely check it out next time you are in downtown Hillsboro.

Parking: There is street parking all around, there are some free parking lots too. The parking lot on SE Second Street and E Main Street is a pay for parking lot.“

“I hate to have to give this place this review but I have to tell the truth me and my granddaughter have been going there for quite some time because we love the atmosphere and we normally love the coffee but the last few months when we went in to get coffee there is absolutely no flavor whatsoever in the coffee I ordered one yesterday that was supposed to have a Kahlua and Bailey's flavor to it I had no flavor but plain old caramel it's tasted like my granddaughter same way she ordered a drink and ended up tasting just like nothing but caramel macchiato I'm very disappointed to have to say this but I sure hope you can work with your staff so that we can get the drinks back to tasting so good like they did we love going there when my granddaughter introduced me to this place I fell in love with the staff the atmosphere and the drinks you can definitely tell whatever you ordered was what you ordered please work on the staff so they can learn to make the copies the way they should be I'm just so disappointed like I said a few months ago things were great now there's a different kind of people working there and they obviously aren't trained enough to know how to make the coffees thanks so much and God bless I hope this is taken out of love not out of anger I am not angry at all I want this to be something that I'm just making you aware of so it doesn't continue happening I even ordered mint a while back for the holidays and the first time I ordered it it was delicious mint I even complemented on the fact that when you order me you got mint what you don't get other places now the last time I ordered the mint not too long ago there was no flavor again so hopefully your flavors will pick back up again I love your place it's always clean and a good atmosphere thank you so much for that and like I said hopefully we can get the flavors straightened out to where the flavor is what it's supposed to be thanks so much and God bless“

“Excellent coffee shop in this area, much better choice than Starbucks. High end coffee for discriminating coffee enthusiasts. Coffee is prepared by an actual barista, rather than a button pusher. Cappuccino was excellent. We didn't try any food, but what we saw looked much better than Starbucks as well.“
