“This place has some of the best Oregon style Pizza, chicken and JoJo's. it's more similar to Pietro's than Pappas and was just a really good pizza. Got a Hawaiian Pizza and pepperoni and black olive Pizza as well, both were excellent. The chicken was juicy and well seasoned, jojos were delicious with the ranch dressing. The kid's play place is ok better than Pappas. We'll be back for sure“

Look no more at 40, I’ve been eating here my whole life and I will always get this pizza before any other type of pizza. I asked for a full pizza and owner was incredibly chill and kind in processing my late night dinner. Reasonable cost for size of pizza came to $30, the pizza was huge and without asking he delivered it to me to my car. The taste was absolutely incredible, even my spouse couldn't get over how good it was. Was going to post a photo, but we ate it 1st. It was that good. I also like that the pepperoni pizza is completely covered across the whole pizza with slices unlike other places that barely put any toppings on. My husband loves the 5 meat stuffed pizza… lots of crust & toppings and he cooks it on his traeger grill. I will admit we usually buy dominos pizza as it’s cheaper but this place has been putting out better coupons to make it more affordable, which is appreciated! And I really like after you order & pay online that you can walk in grab your order and not have to wait in line although sometimes they get slammed so you have to wait longer than pick up time said but that’s expected when a place gets super busy so you just need some patience or order earlier in the day“

“We had an amazing dining experience at Seize The Cafe. The staff was so welcoming, genuine and friendly. The at home atmosphere was cozy and relaxed. The service was spot on. But the most wonderful thing about this gem of a restaurant, is the food. Clearly Chef Chad loves food. You can taste it in every bite. He is skilled in creating scrumptious flavors and unbeatable meals. Can't wait to go back! and don't hesitate to order pie and ice cream to round out your meal. Both homemade and absolutely out of this world.“

We put our names in (there are a handful of "table" seats, the rest are wall/counter seats - they've made the most of available floor space) and approx 40 minutes later we were seated (we were told it would be 30-40 minutes so right on time). We tried a bit of everything and didn't get one thing we didn't enjoy. We'll definitely be back! Only gave the atmosphere a 4 just because of the tighter quarters and noise level (to be expected with the space/layout/number of people). Just noting that for those that may be sensitive to those things.“

Vegetarian options: This location offers a few vegetarian pizzas with extra toppings, but a plain cheese can never do you harm either.

Wheelchair accessibility: There sometimes is very little room in the walkways due to seating, but the area at the counter is clear and the counter itself is a good height, as is the payment terminal.“

Alright I’m a bit experienced when it comes to making pizzas, heck I makem every day at my house, an I figured come on down and check this place out since I come pass this by every once in a while, seemed pretty authentic, so I go in about 1-2 o’clock, and it’s one of those places where you pick your own toppings, I start picking em and they immediately recognized my game. These fellas were real nice to talk to, just about pizzas an the history o the restaurant, I told ‘em I was gonna get it to go, but he tells me, I won’t wrap it for ya cuz I know you’re gonna wanna add some more, and he nodes to a little table with the Parmesan and other seasonings and boy was he right, he also pulled a few little extra things for me like with the garlic. The fellas running this joint have a great spirit and sure do know their stuff. Only thing I’d say could be improved is I think the ingredients themselves could use a little more punch, I think basically everything could use a little more salt, especially the sausage, if you get the write banana peppers, the kind that’ll make ya pucker those will go excellently on a pizza, I highly recommend it as an option, maybe add cholula sauce or something like it on to the menu. Well I gotta get back to my homework, but in short I think this place is worth checking out, the serving sizes are great, but maybe the food could pack a little more punch. Also the sauce was pretty good.

All three of them did a wonderful job preparing delicious food in a timely manner. I want to start by saying New Day Bakery is a beautiful establishment. The food is consistently delicious, the space is clean and inviting, and I genuinely love supporting small businesses like this one. That is the reason I am still giving five stars.

However, the way Kit treated my family during our recent visit was extremely rude and unacceptable.

On a Saturday visit, I brought my family — first-time customers — because I was excited to share a place I truly enjoy. We waited in line about 10 minutes, which was completely reasonable. When my mom politely asked if she could add an egg to her ham and cheese croissant, Kit responded with, “Have you seen our croissants?” The tone was dismissive and sharp. She then said she could charge us for a side of egg instead.

It was never about the egg. We understand policies. It was about the delivery and the attitude. The interaction felt tense and unwelcoming. While it was somewhat busy, there were two cashiers and no overwhelming line. Within minutes, the rush cleared. Yet we were treated as if we were an inconvenience.

What made this worse was what happened afterward.

As my mom stepped away to grab a lid for my brother, Kit attempted to “apologize.” Instead of taking accountability, she told my mom she was sorry for how she approached her but that it was because she needed to use the restroom. My mom responded, “So do you treat people badly because you need to use the restroom?” Kit then added a comment about how when you’re “a woman of a certain age, things happen,” which was completely inappropriate. My mom calmly explained that regardless of the reason, the tone was uncalled for.

Rather than simply owning it with a genuine apology — something as simple as, “I’m sorry, my tone wasn’t necessary” — Kit chose to defend herself by saying she has regulars who absolutely adore her.

That response showed a complete lack of accountability.

This entire exchange happened in front of other customers, which made the situation even more uncomfortable. Customer service is not about whether some people like you. It’s about treating everyone with respect — especially first-time guests who are choosing to support your business.

I am still giving five stars because this bakery truly is wonderful and I want to continue supporting it. But management, please address this behavior. Additional customer service training — particularly around tone, accountability, and handling pressure — is necessary. One employee’s conduct should not overshadow an otherwise amazing establishment.

“My husband and I took friends to the Sunday brunch Sept 8 to celebrate their 62nd anniversary. I had been there with my sisters about a month ago and was pleased with most everything. I made 10:00 reservations. We got there a little early so the waiter asked us to sit down and they’d be with us shortly. After about a 12 minute wait the same waiter came up to us and asked if we had been helped. I said yes we were waiting for you to seat us. He had forgotten us. We ordered coffee from a waitress. Twenty minutes later and no coffee we grabbed another waitress and asked her to get us coffee. Instead of being offered refills on coffee we had to ask for it. Needless to say we were very disappointed in the service. On the other hand the food was very good. Unfortunately good food alone does not make the best experience. Don’t know if we’ll be back. All but the service was great. 😓“
