“Holy smokes. The pho here is quite amazing. I never would expect that from a bar. I'm giving it the second best I've had. It's so good. Second time coming here during my work shift. Perfect for these cold rainy days. It's always piping hot with generous portions. So much flavor.

The bartender Stormi was totally kickass and down to earth; you could tell that her upbeat personality set the mood and everyone in there was feeling that same way. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and genuinely happy that I actually didn't want to leave... I almost never go to bars but, if you do; I'd definitely recommend trying this one. ??
Being friendly and caring really does go a long way and can do more for some people than you may know. ??

“Boss Hawgs is a funky dark bar near/in the Gateway area of Portland. My buddy loves it here. I’m in the 3 to 4 star zone for them. We get the cheesesteaks and they are packed with beef (sirloin, I believe) and onions and peppers if you’d like um. They come with fries which are very good. It’s a lot of food at a good price. The quality is inconsistent and really depends on who is running the kitchen when you go in.

The drinks are priced well and there’s booths, tables and a kinda odd outside area. It’s a touch sketchy here (has a lot to do with this area - being on a major thoroughfare) but it’s worth going to now and then.“

“I feel like I'm family at this bar. Ive met a really amazing bartender who i hope to remain friends with. Its small and has the perfect amount of people. No over crowding and just laid back. They are very protective of their guests that they keep the doors locked for safety purposes. You have to knock and get their attention to be let in. I've never had a difficult time entering this business.“

“It's kind of a dive bar not in the best area . They serve Mexican food. Only have beer and wine no liquor . They have a pool table , juke box and I believe 7 to 10 poker machines . The poker machines did go down while I was there . I guess it was a city wide issue. I had to wait for the machines to come back on line before they would cash my ticket. It was down for over a hour so that wasn't ideal but all in all not a bad place nice staff and depending on the time nice customers. Gets more rowdy later at night.

Parking: It's In the same parking lot as the liquor store and people seem to get confused on the one way directions they're are supposed to be going . So you want to pay extra close attention in this parking lot.“

“Surprise! This place was a great discovery. They serve a fine breakfast, meaty or veggie heavy as you wish, the prices are better than city prices, and the waitress means it when she says "I'm on it." We will totally be back.

Parking: Plenty of space in the parking lot at least in the morning. There are a LOT of handicapped spots. It's easy to get back on the highway because you have a light.“

“Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. It was nice being able to order off that menu at 1 PM on a Saturday while my friend enjoyed her lunch. My hash browns were cooked to perfection and her burger looked pretty darned good too. It was nice sitting on the patio watching the golfers while sipping cocktails. “This place was great for Happy Hour! We sat in the bar which was OK. Upon leaving I saw the restaurant and will sit there next time for the view!! The service was spectacular!! Waitress/Bartender came to our table probably every 15 minutes to check on us,,, and it was about half full. Food was GREAT! Had the Happy Hour Burger (1/4#) because the regular burger (1/2#) felt like too much. Had several appetizers which were yummy. 100% will be going back soon.“
