As most of you know, I never tell the vendors in advance that I am reviewing them so I get the food and service you will get when you visit an establishment! We have eaten at Boba trucks before. They are a bit pricey but the food is well worth it (or we wouldn’t be coming back!)! The corn on the cob is addictive! No other way to put it! This location went all out! I got the sweet chili chicken with rice. There was actually aggressive posturing over it when I got it home! Food worth fighting over! I love watching people eat. Their facial expressions tell all! The convict “I will kill you if you even look at my food” glare. The “that was better than sex” closed eyed contentment. The covetous look of a child who just ate your portion!!! That chicken was so good! We usually get their hotdogs but, man that chicken was so fa king good! I know what we are having for lunch today!“

“Berts chuckwagon is some of the better barbecue we have around here. Trouble is in the northwest we just don’t have a lot of barbecue. I feel like the sides are what really shine. His ribs are good. They do it smoked style but they are pretty tough and dry and that’s what happens when you smoke ribs. Mine are like 10 times better in the oven and so juicy they fall off the bone. He’s a nice guy and the prices are moderate for what they offer portions are pretty generous. I’ve eaten here multiple times when I didn’t feel like cooking. Will probably come back again. But I do prefer to make my own barbecue over berts.“

This very authentic food cart does not have a huge menu but the flavor is wonderful and everything is made to order (so it takes a bit to receive your food but who cares when you can stop in Fox Farm Vineyards tasting room next door during your wait and even return to eat as they don't mind while you drink their wine).
