“When we ended up leaving The Horn due to lack of service, we came to West Coast Chowder. The service was fantastic. They even got an order of mac and cheese going for my child immediately, before we sat, understanding that she was hungry and we had already been waiting a while to eat before trying this place. Our server, Rocky, took very good care of us, the food tasted good, and the price was good too. The place was clean and had decent views from the front window. Thanks so much!

“Small disappointment regarding their menu. Pouring a 6 oz beer in a brandy sniffer, when all of the other customers are getting 16 oz.
Makes no sense.
If you're going to serve small amounts of beer, please put in the menu!“

“The first time we had the oyster stew it was fantastic. We went again today two weeks later. It wasn't so good this time, and there were only five oysters in this whole bowl of $18 stew. There were a lot of mushrooms which I think were supposed to look like oysters. I don't remember mushrooms the first time. This was disappointing compared to our first visit. It doesn't seem like it was the same recipe at all. The garlic bread that accompanies the oyster stew was also different than the first time we went. It was best the first time. I'm not sure what happened.“

“I love you new digs! So much room between tables and a truly accessible bathroom. Great service, just like we are all family! I had the Seafood Cobb Salad and of course the seafood was wonderful, but even better was the fruit! It was exactly ripe! Wow! My companions had the Garlic Linguini, the Clam Linguini, and the Marinara Linguini. I stole bites from my happy companions. Yum! And the homemade honey mustard salad dressing they had was terrific.

And the parking lot is such an improvement over trying to find parking on the Newport Bay Front.

Wheelchair accessibility: Truly accessible,with lots of room, bathroom. Only one handicap spot, but we had no problem getting in from a regular spot. And there was lots of room between tables.“
