There isn’t outdoor seating but the little bar next door has bangin CBD and THC mocktails and a cozy shaded patio and they will let you bring your burger in and eat it there as long as you order something to drink.“

“Delicious food. The kind of place that a week later your body will begin to crave eating there again and the cravings won’t stop until they’re satisfied with a return visit. Warning: your clothes and your hair will stink like grease and oil when you leave so don’t wear your fancy clothes to eat here because you’ll be on the hook for dry cleaning and in desperate need of a shower after your meal. You’ll definitely have to wash your hair to get the stink out. Worth it though.“

“My home away from home. I’ve worked in a lot of establishments as a host and as an employee at all levels. This makes me a little picky about strange things like, employee retention, a love and involvement from owners, a mutual respect among employees, excellence in service, attention to details. Last but not least- knowing their customers- how they like how what when and where is remembered and held somewhat sacred. Being a regular here is being part of a family as staff or clientele. As long as I have breath in my body and they will have me I will host a show here for my own sanity and well being. More places should pay attention to how these people do business on all ends. “SO GOOD!! Love that you can make it your way. The original Yumm bowl is fantastic. My daughter ordered the Hot n Jazzy bowl. YUM!! The sesame jalapeño salsa is super bomb. And I can never get enough of the Yumm sauce. Love all the healthy, high quality ingredient options, and service is super fast. Totally hits the spot. So YUMM!!“

“Neat diner style restaurant with American food, burgers, fries, milkshakes. Burger and fries were cooked perfectly, fries were crispy and not greasy. Had a side salad with one of our meals, for a diner style restaurant it was a surprisingly good salad, had mixed greens, diced tomatoes and onions on top. Great dressing and sauces. Workers were very friendly and helpful and food came out quickly.“

“I was staying in Eugene a few days house/ cat sitting for my son and Barger Grill & Pub house was just a couple blocks away. I thought it might be more like a bar but it wasnt. It was a actual eating place.
I had the most spectacular steak bites ever! They were soooo amazing! The soup, coffee, the whole atmosphere was perfect.
I went back 2 nights later and had the hamburger sliders. They were amazing as well! Great service both nights and I will be back whenever I'm in Eugene. Definitely a great place and awesome food!“

“Wow! Never have I ever had such an incredible dining experience in my life. There I was: having the worst day of my life: I was told I only have one day left before going to prison because apparently I had committed “tax Freud”. I knew my last dinner before a life of incarceration must be at the University of Oregon GSH Fredhmarket Cafe. The employee by the name of Anna was so helpful, and even listened to me as I complained about my upcoming inprisonment. After eating my sandwich and talking with Anna I now face the bars of prison with welcome arms.“

“I came here very unsure. Do not like trying new to me things. This restaurant hooked me. The lady was very nice and accommodating and answered my questions. I had the braised beef bowl sub chicken, added cheese and sour cream minus chipotle bbq sauce. It was awesome. It had flavor, a tiny bite that I liked… normally do not like any. The grilled chicken was done, moist and very well seasoned. Not over bearing, but mouth watering. I now have a new favorite!“

“My husband and I took friends to the Sunday brunch Sept 8 to celebrate their 62nd anniversary. I had been there with my sisters about a month ago and was pleased with most everything. I made 10:00 reservations. We got there a little early so the waiter asked us to sit down and they’d be with us shortly. After about a 12 minute wait the same waiter came up to us and asked if we had been helped. I said yes we were waiting for you to seat us. He had forgotten us. We ordered coffee from a waitress. Twenty minutes later and no coffee we grabbed another waitress and asked her to get us coffee. Instead of being offered refills on coffee we had to ask for it. Needless to say we were very disappointed in the service. On the other hand the food was very good. Unfortunately good food alone does not make the best experience. Don’t know if we’ll be back. All but the service was great. 😓“

“I love getting lunch at Oakway Cafe Yumm. They are so friendly and clean. I always get my food fast and made correctly with having my allergies to certain foods. They have amazing cookies. I can never just buy one. I buy several to take home for later too. I highly recommend them to my friends and colleagues.“

With crispy and juicy shredded pork, ham, cheese and pickles squished to deliciousness. And the perfect amout of mustard... the mustard is what makes it for me! With a side kale ceasar, a perfect pairing. Hubby had the Ruben, with house made pastrami and saurkrawt. Not too sour, on a marbled rye. He loved it. Son had a grilled chicken club with parmesagn garlic fries. Another win! We all drank their homemade ginger ale and root beer.“

The waitress was friendly, but when I asked for a refill on my soda, she never mentioned that they charge full price for a refill of soda. If knew, I wouldn't have asked for another. Please let customers know so they know what to expect on the bill. Other than that, I was happy with my visit.

“Love supporting McMenamins. Been coming to High St. consistently 3 ta 4 times a month over the past 5 years.
Seen cooks change hands. Right now this cook needs to get the burgers right. Over and over very red/ not thoroughly cooked. Unlike what we experience with past cooks here or at other McMenamins. Sorry but it's happened way too many times and it's not being corrected. Even with multiple times informing of this to waiters.
I'm sure there's a percentage that are okay with this so I'm not sure I'm speaking for everyone. Something other to note, the salad seems like it's been gotten from a lesser quality source these days and you can see it and taste it. It's not the way it used to be. Hopefully just a bad batch.

“We had the chicken tenders with fries; a boil bag and the lobster po boy. Everything but the lobster po boy was delicious. There was way too much mayonnaise on the sandwich and in the mix that it took away from the flavor of the lobster. It also made the bread mushy. I'm sure if they were to scale back on the mayonnaise the sandwich would be much better. The highlight foe my 3 yr old was the robot cat that delivered our food to the table.“
