I had the hand breaded chicken stripes y husband had fish and chips. Three breading was the best I've ever had and the chicken was tender and juicy. The prices are average for this area. They have a happy hour menu for Sun-Thurs that's for lots of choices. We will definitely return.”

“The staff here is wonderful. It has the hometown feel that I grew up with and love about the Portland area that is not as common as it used to be. I go here for lunch breaks and the service is very fast and always friendly. I always get the teriyaki chicken bowl which is fresh and good. If I decide to play video poker they bring me my food and it's always exactly as I order it.”

The menu changes weekly based on the freshest ingredients, and every dish bursts with bold flavors and inspiration from across Mexico. The vibe is chill and the staff are sweet and knowledgeable. Music was great (rock en español) and not too loud, so you could have a conversation at your table without yelling (yay!)

We tried the chef’s tasting menu, which included two appetizers (PNW oysters and tomato/melon salad, two large plates (mushroom barbacoa & cheese-filled corn dish and king salmon which was caught that morning) and two desserts (fig pastie and a creamy Asian pear). We also got the carnitas chilaquiles separately—highly recommend. Each dish was beautifully prepared, incredibly tasty, and unforgettable. The wine pairing ($68 per person) was thoughtfully curated and well worth it, and the cocktails were just as impressive.

“Their shrimp pasta is DIVINE! It's so flavorful and they're quite generous with the amount of shrimp too. I like how they don't take reservations because it just means you're guaranteed a spot if you're there right when they open up.”

You have to keep getting up to order at the bar. Good burger and fries. Trout chips and dip was different but tasty. Overall good experience.”
