“To me it is heartbreaking that the covid has left so many restaurants with no seating inside. I am coming to the point where I will not go back to any place that has no restroom for the public.

Parking: Wonderful parking but no need the lobbies not open. So if you want to go through the drive-thru and come around and park and eat in the parking lot you can. But another part of covid is that no one has outdoor garbage anymore so the garbage from your meal you have to take with you.“

“My wife brought me here for my 70th birthday. She asked, "where would you like to go?" "Surprise me.", I told her. Oh my! My grandmother from Puebla, Mexico would have loved this place. The tortillas were fresh, Handmade! I ordered the Pozole. Oh so rich and fragrant and bustling with pork, hominy and a very wonderful broth. Did I mention the tortillas?? Oh Lord!! I plan to bring my three adult children here for my son's birthday. I plan to eat my way through the menu, over the course of the next year or so. I can see that there are many others who love this place. The entire time we were having dinner, there was a steady stream of people coming in for takeout. Yep, this is a gem of a restaurant. Come enjoy.“

“Wow! Honestly, best tacos we’ve had in PDX. Great service and fresh ingredients. We had the taco plate, with asada - the asada was crispy and flavorful. The tortillas were handmade! Rice and beans were good as well. We also tried the tacos dorados with potato. They were nice and warm, crunchy, everything was just great!!!“

Was worried about going here after reading some reviews but decided to go for it and am happy I did.

Went to San Fran and San Diego a few weeks ago and had the famous burrito shops there. All a bit overhyped but still delicious.

This can compete with em for sure. Maybe the bad reviews were due to a severe off day or something. For me and my wife we’re going back 100%.“

“FINALLY FOUND THE BEST STREET TACOS OF PORTLAND!!!!
Definitely going back and as this was my 1st trip, I'm going to encourage all my taco-fiends to go too! If you're thinking about it, STOP THINKING and just GO!!!! you'll not regret it.
The only con was the Horchata was a little bit too sweet and I had to split mine into 3 servings and add my own milk.“

Have tried the Taco Supreme, Quesadilla, and Cochinita Tacos and look forward to working my way through the other items on the menu. The Cochinita dishes showcase wonderful delicious shredded pork as the protein. The Horchata was also extremely well made and one of the best I've had in Portland. Mama Chio Rocks!“

“Asked for a chorizo burrito to replenish energy.
Got a hash brown burrito with chorizo instead.
Burrito is decent, big, very big, but simple, lots of hash brown inside, cheese and chorizo.
I was planning to give a mid review but the salsas made up for the mid burrito, salsa is where it's at.
Make sure to take some on your way out.
Got to try more things from them I guess before I make my mind but it's not a bad place to refuel“

I was disappointed the birria didn't get dipped in sauce and fried, but the beef was fantastic. Well priced at $13 for 2 tacos and 2 sides. Unfortunately, I was hungry and failed to get a photo!!! “We live close and come here often. The service is great, food and beverage choices are wide ranging, but we all just order our favorites. The bar is well stocked and margaritas are fast and delicious. We have a young child and they’re always considerate and patient with him. I think we’re going to be here even more this summer when the road improvements are done and outside seating is an option.“
