“To me it is heartbreaking that the covid has left so many restaurants with no seating inside. I am coming to the point where I will not go back to any place that has no restroom for the public.

Parking: Wonderful parking but no need the lobbies not open. So if you want to go through the drive-thru and come around and park and eat in the parking lot you can. But another part of covid is that no one has outdoor garbage anymore so the garbage from your meal you have to take with you.“

“This place is so cute! If you love a pink, intimate vibe with hints of green. Which I love! Then I was greeted at my table by Selena who was super friendly, accommodating, and made great suggestions! The food was out of this world, I got the esquites, guac and salsa, cucumber salad, enchiladas, tacos, and birria tacos. I am definitely telling all of my friends about this place and is one of my new fave places.“

“Lilia is an absolute gem and my new favorite Portland restaurant. The menu changes weekly based on the freshest ingredients, and every dish bursts with bold flavors and inspiration from across Mexico. The vibe is chill and the staff are sweet and knowledgeable. Music was great (rock en español) and not too loud, so you could have a conversation at your table without yelling (yay!)

We tried the chef’s tasting menu, which included two appetizers (PNW oysters and tomato/melon salad, two large plates (mushroom barbacoa & cheese-filled corn dish and king salmon which was caught that morning) and two desserts (fig pastie and a creamy Asian pear). We also got the carnitas chilaquiles separately—highly recommend. Each dish was beautifully prepared, incredibly tasty, and unforgettable. The wine pairing ($68 per person) was thoughtfully curated and well worth it, and the cocktails were just as impressive.

“My wife brought me here for my 70th birthday. She asked, "where would you like to go?" "Surprise me.", I told her. Oh my! My grandmother from Puebla, Mexico would have loved this place. The tortillas were fresh, Handmade! I ordered the Pozole. Oh so rich and fragrant and bustling with pork, hominy and a very wonderful broth. Did I mention the tortillas?? Oh Lord!! I plan to bring my three adult children here for my son's birthday. I plan to eat my way through the menu, over the course of the next year or so. I can see that there are many others who love this place. The entire time we were having dinner, there was a steady stream of people coming in for takeout. Yep, this is a gem of a restaurant. “We biked downtown and were looking for a lunch spot. So we decided to check out this conveniently located food cart. I ordered the chipotle shrimp burrito and my partner ordered the veggie burrito. “I want to start with saying the people there were really really nice I didn't have service because I ordered my shrimp cocktail to go but I have to say I wasn't crazy about the cocktail sauce if you can call it that. “Wow! Honestly, best tacos we’ve had in PDX. Great service and fresh ingredients. We had the taco plate, with asada - the asada was crispy and flavorful. The tortillas were handmade! Definitely going back and as this was my 1st trip, I'm going to encourage all my taco-fiends to go too! If you're thinking about it, STOP THINKING and just GO!!!! you'll not regret it.
The only con was the Horchata was a little bit too sweet and I had to split mine into 3 servings and add my own milk.“

“I ate at Verde Cocina en la Perla while at a work conferencein Portland, Oregon. The food was so delicious that I build my entire birthday around eating there! I live in Olympia, Washington. It is over an hour drive but I will keep doing it every few months. I had Arro as my bartender and server both times. He treats you like FAMILY, and this place IS family owned. I even was introduced to the creator of the Horchata French Toast dish. It is so good I cry happy tears thinking about it. Please visit for brunch and order it, you will NOT be sad about it. I don't even use syrup on the French toast, because the Horchata sauce is so so good on its own. The chillequilles are so so good with eggs OR tofu. Arro was awesome in helping us select desserts...the flan is so dang good, and it is #vegan! My wife and I are #vegetarian, but when I went with a coworker, he said that the meat dishes are "fire." I had a drink both times, first was the mango margarita. Tastes fresh and delicious! Had the perfect amount of tequila but tasted like juice...😈 I have also ordered the Paloma. I can't tell which one is my favorite!!! Anyways, do yourself a favor and order. Trust me.“

“We love Nutri taco. They offer great Mexican food and because we are a mixed diet household, one of us can get vegan while the other one eats omni. The rosemary garlic fries are amazing. I highly recommend it to anyone.“
