The chicken (forgot the name) had a really delicious sauce. The rice wasn't soft (way i like it) but still tasty.

Love the fish tank. 20yr puffer. But it's the biggest I've seen in s tank. The baby lion fish was cute. Haha“

“We aren’t big drinkers but we do love a good nacho. The one on shoestring potatoes was fire! The fries were crispy, the pulled pork was tasty and perfectly cooked. The queso wasn’t too thick or too runny. Perfect for sharing. We come with our dog so we’ve never more than peeked inside. The bar is on a busy intersection so it can get noisy outside at times. But the server was fast and friendly. Definitely worth a trip“

“Breakfast is my favorite meal of the day. It was nice being able to order off that menu at 1 PM on a Saturday while my friend enjoyed her lunch. My hash browns were cooked to perfection and her burger looked pretty darned good too. It was nice sitting on the patio watching the golfers while sipping cocktails. Prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere was nice. We will definitely be back!“

“We were greeted by a friendly server and asked for our drink order. I've been here before and I enjoy the Amber beer on tap but it's usually out, and once again it was out. You would think if the Amber beer sells out all the time you would have more than one available and not 10 IPAs!

“Boss Hawgs is a funky dark bar near/in the Gateway area of Portland. My buddy loves it here. I’m in the 3 to 4 star zone for them. We get the cheesesteaks and they are packed with beef (sirloin, I believe) and onions and peppers if you’d like um. They come with fries which are very good. It’s a lot of food at a good price. The quality is inconsistent and really depends on who is running the kitchen when you go in.

The drinks are priced well and there’s booths, tables and a kinda odd outside area. It’s a touch sketchy here (has a lot to do with this area - being on a major thoroughfare) but it’s worth going to now and then.“

“Owner, the food, and beer selection is amazing! Been here many times but decided to have lunch with my GF here today. A beer was slightly off, and he grabbed a glass to try it and promptly asked me if I would like a replacement. I always have the pulled pork sandwich and a beer for lunch here. Never really feeling comfortable because most of the employees are busy visiting with regulars and people they know They might offer you something to drink once in a while. Until ERICKA !!! She gives excellent customer service (this 5 star rating is for her) I was in there the other day and she was calling every single person by name. She us wonderful. You are very lucky to have her as an employee. I hope your paying her a decent wage because if not I would snatch her up in a heartbeat . She gives excellent customer service. “I feel like I'm family at this bar. Ive met a really amazing bartender who i hope to remain friends with. Its small and has the perfect amount of people. No over crowding and just laid back. They are very protective of their guests that they keep the doors locked for safety purposes. You have to knock and get their attention to be let in. I've never had a difficult time entering this business.“

The bartender Stormi was totally kickass and down to earth; you could tell that her upbeat personality set the mood and everyone in there was feeling that same way. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and genuinely happy that I actually didn't want to leave... I almost never go to bars but, if you do; I'd definitely recommend trying this one. ??

“You want a cool experience? This is the place! You have happening bars, winery, distillery, pool hall and niche spaces for every taste. Great food, service and really helpful and friendly staff. The rooms are unique. No phone or TV but really that not why you come here. The artwork is very Oregon. If you are really lucky there is live concerts and music on weekends. Don’t forget to visit the soaking tub! Within easy reach of Portland, Portland airport and area sightseeing.“

“Super fun, good music, bartender was nice, but servers were surly, inefficient. After 45 minutes I asked her about my order. She said take a number or something like that. Order never came and when I went to the bar she refunded my payment because the kitchen had closed. So I had nothing to eat. I can't just skip meals so I had to leave. Very poor service. Should take the restaurant sign down as they aren't really- its a dive bar with a greasy kitchen that won't even serve dinner“

“Just a fun little spot with decent food! It's a little shabby in the best ways I love a good dive bar! Wednesday has open mic night starting at 7 i think and karaoke everyday at 9. It's super fun and very friendly interesting crowd. I'm always happy with the meals the cook is great.“
