“You can tell this chef is very passionate about cooking. Each dish is plated so beautifully. The menu is seasonal with high end local produce from the farmers market. The staff is very warm. The interior is very nice, with very nice furniture(eg marble or quartz tables, I believe). It’s not inherently the chefs fault, but at this price point, the food is not what we really crave? Also, we were kind of feeling hungry with such a carb light menu. We just split one medium meat dish, so we do eat less protein than average? But I feel like it’s not enough food for vegetarians fyi. They did GRACIOUSLY make us some handmade tortillas off the menu and essentially didn’t charge us. Plus, we received complementary dessert wine tasting, since we complained about wanting some bread or tortillas. One bummer about this was that no one followed up about our request until we asked three different servers. Overall, I think this could be a great place. But just not for us at the moment.“

“The loveliest little restaurant in downtown Beaverton. We came here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint. Love a fixed menu that takes the decision making out of ordering. Such a cute and cozy vibe inside. Phenomenal wine list - you can do a glass, bottle or full pairing with your courses (highly recommend). Would also get reservations, it’s a pretty small space. They do have a vegetarian menu as well. Staff was so friendly and thoughtful!“

“My wife and I come here for special occasions and last night we celebrated her birthday! As always, the service was excellent, food was impeccable, atmosphere was cozy, and a very enjoyable experience. It is a small place which only adds to the intimacy of service and atmosphere. The owner is a great guy who is very knowledgeable in all his dishes and wines which were incredible as well! We love C'est Si Bon and will continue to come here everytime we want to celebrate something at a special place!“

“Street Disco in Portland is an absolute gem! From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and enthusiasm, setting the tone for the entire experience. The food was out of this world – each dish bursting with fresh, vibrant flavors that took me on a culinary journey. The presentation was equally impressive, showing real thought and care put into every plate.
The service was impeccable – attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. It felt like the staff genuinely wanted to make sure we had the best possible experience. Whether you’re looking for an unforgettable meal or a fun night out, Street Disco nails it. Highly recommend!“

“French food is not normally the top on my list of dining choices, but I am really glad that I took a chance on this place. The food was excellent and cute whole in the wall very French atmosphere really rounded it all off. There is limited seating and a bit tight being a small bistro of sorts, but once you get settled in and relaxed, you forget forgive the close quarters by the very French décor and feeling once you start looking around at everything. Service was friendly there, but a bit awkward at no fault to the server since she was still relatively new there and apologized for it immediately. She was sincere and did her best throughout our dining experience. Ordered the open faced sandwich which was a shrimp smorbord and it was just amazing. So beautifully prepared with such care and presentation. The ingredients were fresh and flavorful. Also got the mussels, which were meaty and perfectly cooked in a light herb broth. This will be a must on my return to visit list when ever in Portland next and do recommend that you give it a try if so inclined. Bon Appétit!“

“We had an exceptional evening at St Jack. While there were a few awkward moments with the staff, the food made up for it. When we first arrived with a reservation, they didn't have a table for 5 ready for us, and tried to put us at a table for 4 with a person on the end. They adjusted after we asked, stating that the tables I asked them to put together were not available when we arrived; however, that was a little like putting it on the diner because they did know we were coming. I had written on the reservation that it was my son's birthday, but they seemed unaware until I mentioned it, and then he got a scoop of ice cream with a candle. We were a late seating at 7:30, but not the only table still seated when we left, and we didn't get any kind of a thank you or goodbye. All minor things, but they do affect the whole experience, especially when you are at a high-end restaurant. But the food, oh the food, was marvelous. We started with lovely oysters that were scrumptuous, went on the bread and butter, light and fluffy with the perfect level of salt. The Gougeres warm from the oven were amazing, as was the chicken liver mousse. I thought the tartar de boeuf was very flavorful, but if you are a traditionalist, as some of my family they didn't love it as much but still liked it very much. My husband had the Sole, and it was an amazing surprise and would be my choice if I ate there again. The moules were lovely, and the curry broth you just want to drink straight from the bowl. The steak frite well well-cooked and fries w/the bernaise sauce were lovely (though a tad bit salty). We indulged in all three of their desserts, and the table was split between the Strawberry Choux and the Meyer Lemon Coeur a la crème as the best. Both were exceptional. We would definitely recommend eating here.“

“A gem! Excellent service, excellent food! Stayed at the Dossier Hotel and came across this really awesome spot at the hotel. I can definitely recommend the fried gnocchi, lemmon pound cake, blistered green beans and the chicken sandwich. Has an amazing dining experience thanks to Amanda and James who provided excellent service to make the meal even more enjoyable.“

“Didn't have any food, but the drinks were amazing. Boasting an excellent selection of high end alcohol of all kinds, Angel Face can provide what you want. The bartender knew their stuff and had no trouble whipping up artistic drink one after another. We had a pretty large party and showed up unannounced but they handled us with no problems. Highly recommended!“
