“We dined here for the first time this past weekend. Loved the space, a cozy and intimate home that had been converted to a restaurant. Our waitress couldn't have been nicer! Very knowledgeable about the food, and wine list. We enjoyed our meal and look forward to returning soon.“
“I have been eating food from the sand dune for 36 years(probably longer, I just can't remember). I use to get food from the take out window when I was to young to go in and then once I could finally enter those swinging doors I made it a stop every time I'm in town! I've had many iterations of their food but it always satisfies the belly. They have really upgraded the back patio with two large tents to cover it and makes for a great spot in the evening to sit out slide and enjoy some food and a drink! There burger are good but their fried oyster are where it's at! I hope someday they can increase their hours again, but for the time being, I'll still make it in when I'm in town and suggest you do too! Ps great place to watch a late afternoon evening duck/beaver game!“
“Really crispy fish. Service was...less than I would have expected. I am from Oregon, not the East coast and am accustomed to a bit friendlier service from a little food cart. That being said, would definitely come here again. The coleslaw was delicious, as were the fries and the fish. Everything was delicious.“
“My wife and I first tried this place back in April and we were so impressed that we came back. Mo's clam chowder is good, but lakeside Hideaway's is even better! I also love the view of lake Little! My kids love this place too.“
“Their crab, oysters, and clams are always good. My family and I go here for our yearly camping trip. We come from Washington. We have been visiting when Kelly was still the owner. We really wish he still owned and ran the place. It was so much better. The crabbing lately hasn't been the greatest. The last two times we came here we didn't catch much, and this recent time we didn't get any keepers. So we ended up buying crab and oysters instead. The staff is always friendly and the place is a good location. Campsites are a bit close but still manage a little privacy. They have showers and bathrooms, as well as a nice gift shop that they've recently expanded w/ lots of cute hoodies/tees/crew necks. Tables for people to eat, and you can also crab off of the dock without having to pay 120 for the boat. Great place to check out at least once. Fun especially for the kids.“
“My favorite spot on the Oregon coast to get seafood! Everything I have had is good here from fish and chips and clam strip and popcorn chicken. Their clam chowder is prob also my favorite I have had as well. Someone in my group had oyster shooters and said they were some of the best he’s had in a long time! Look forward to coming to this spot when we’re in town“
“I wanted to give 5 stars but I was not able to split my bill nor pay with two forms of payment. We were never told we couldn't split the bill til the checkout and then was scolded by a lady who said its listed in fine print on the menu. This should be a standard disclosure written on the doors before entering and/or explained upfront before ordering. Expecting the patron to find all the hidden clues on the menu is like the staff knowing how to use the TV remote..non existent. However, The food is fabulous! Perfect calamari, perfect shrimp tacos, great fish and chips. The outside needs a face lift and in no way reflects quality of food and service and or the interior. Plus the front office needs to be cleaned as it's cluttery and is an eyesore as you walk into the establishment.“
“Our first time here...the server was super sweet and the food....well it was delicious. We asked what the servers favorite was and she said she would eat the salmon tacos everyday if she could....and we agree! My son got some Tillamook ice cream with whip n sprinkles after his meal...and his excitement says it all.“
