Sara was a very nice and attentive server, and I liked the restaurant's balance of Italian styling with grounded farm Lake atmosphere. It didn't feel ostentatious, but felt a bit special. “I've always driven by wondering, but finally stopped in. I heard a good review from a friend and my visit didn't let me down. It's a clean, rustic atmosphere, nothing too fancy, but quite organic and appropriate for the location and price. Clean. Loved the yellow curry with chicken. Staff was courteous and attentive. This is a nice little gem tucked into the roots of south Medford.“

“This is my first time dining in at this place. Servers were very friendly and attentive. We were seated promptly. I ordered BBQ chicken by itself without rice or salad. Server told me that the potion was like appetizer size. However, the potion was huge and it filled up the whole plate as you can see in my picture! The chicken was tender, juicy, and well seasoned. I could not finish all the chicken, and had to take the rest to go. It still tasted very good even if I ate it on the day after. I will come again if I am in the area.“

They're the best breakfast and lunch spot you can find in town, with great food, wonderful service, and fair prices on everything throughout the menu. Make sure that you are looking for the times because they do close early but are open very early as well. They have the best cinnamon rolls in town, the largest I've seen, and they fill up an entire plate, made fresh daily. All of the ingredients are fresh, and you can't beat this anywhere else in town.“

“I have been here a few times for dinner in various nights. There is plenty of parking and the restaurant is tucked in the corner of the shopping center. They are always very busy with to go orders and folks walking in to eat. The food is always very good. Fresh and made to order. The restaurant has about 6, 4 tops and is cozy. The staff are always professional and keep our drinks filled and again make sure we are happy with our choices. Tonight I got the eggplant and my daughter got the red curry. Both delicious. Spring rolls also very good. Take the time to visit you won't be disappointed.“

“When we came the only other table was occupied. And while dining, the place started to fill up quickly. So, I can imaging that the wait time may increase, as the place packs up.

The sushi rolls we ordered were good size and quality and very tasty. Personally, I liked the variety, though wouldn't complain to see more sushis with fresh fish only.

“I went there with a friend last night for dinner, drinks, girl time. A guy at the bar came up to our table, clearly trying to make the moves. He was nice but then came up a second time. Said I was beautiful and asked if I was married. Again he was nice and I immediately made it clear I’m a happily married woman and proceeded to show him pictures of my rather hunky husband. Later as the checks came our waiter wrote my friend a note making sure we were ok and if we felt uncomfortable and he gave us a “code” to say if we needed help. Anyways, that was amazing and so appreciated and it means a lot when someone is paying attention and wants to make sure a couple girls having dinner were ok and felt safe. So thank you so much for taking that extra step. Love this place and the food and service was wonderful“

“I have been eating at Shinsei Sushi for several years. We live in Mt Shasta, and every Medford trip means lunch at Shinsei. The sushi is fresh and excellent. Service is very amenable. This is not a restaurant for ambiance, as it is a standard strip mall setting, but everything else is very enjoyable. This restaurant gets a lot of high 5s from many Mt Shasta, Ca. residents who make it a point to eat there.“
