“I love the Phoodery! it's a great spot for the community to gather and I love how much variety of food they always offer from the different vendors. I also love the live music performances they host! I will say one downside is it is spendy so it's harder for me to afford and update: today none of the vendors were open except 2 or 3 so please work on that! I like the phoodery because it has options so I'm not pleased when there's only a choice of pizza or burgers. I appreciate having at least one or two more options. 😬😕 but the food is good nonetheless! I am so grateful to the Taphouse for holding my lost phone for me I owe you my gratitude! 😌🙏🏻💓“

“Nice wine selection to go with a wide variety of entree choices. The Caesar salad was perfect - lightly dressed but very flavorful, cold & crisp. The mussels, clams and spaghetti dish was delicious. Loved the veal Marsala-so tender with perfectly cooked veggies. My only comment is the marinara sauce is so flavorful it took away from the veal. Would probably choose a plain pasta next time to enjoy with the luscious Marsala sauce. Marcello was our waiter and was delightful. The rest of the staff were very attentive, getting empty plates from the table, filling water glasses, etc. we were just passing thru but will make a point to come back.“

Get some bacon and eggs to go with this and it's a definite amazing meal if you're in the area or if I'm out of town. This is a go-to spot for these two items. I finally have time to try out their food and service, it was so good. I order pumpkin curry and that’s like the best curry I ever eaten, I tried Thai restaurant in Medford but none of the place really like this place. They have really nice environment, really cozy and warm and remind me of Asian, I love it❤️

The food makes me feel really full and I finish it. Food portion is not like large portions but enough to make you full with reasonable prices.

“I went there with a friend last night for dinner, drinks, girl time. A guy at the bar came up to our table, clearly trying to make the moves. He was nice but then came up a second time. Said I was beautiful and asked if I was married. Again he was nice and I immediately made it clear I’m a happily married woman and proceeded to show him pictures of my rather hunky husband. Later as the checks came our waiter wrote my friend a note making sure we were ok and if we felt uncomfortable and he gave us a “code” to say if we needed help. Anyways, that was amazing and so appreciated and it means a lot when someone is paying attention and wants to make sure a couple girls having dinner were ok and felt safe. “Have a great eggs benedict, besides Parkside. This is overall nice place for southern oregon. Very hometown ask even though it was a pretty well-known chain back in the day. The food is still very relevant, and so far on par.
definitely a breakfast or brunch place, Neverland can always compare, but the contrast is there.
I'm sorry I love good breakfast places. Early risers it's not a morning person. LOL life am I right.

“I really wanted to love this place. Especially with all the great reviews from over the previous years. But...

We went there for my birthday dinner (myself and my parents), at 5:00pm on a Friday, because my folks are both seniors. There were only two other tables seated, but it was SO loud. The waitress tried to seat us right by the door, immediately across from the counter. But we politely asked for a table against the back wall, so we could hear each other (my mom uses hearing aids). And then the attitude started. Like we asked her to build us a table.

Once agreeing to our request to simply walk 15 feet, she gave us about 90 seconds to look at the menu, but was offended by my mother's request for more time, but couldn't be bothered with a drink order. Then, after repeated attempts to flag her down and being ignored, she finally came back. No explanation of which item came with rice or not, or ??? Never a single smile or anything like a welcoming gesture. Ever.

Finally, after ordering and receiving our food. I have to admit - I expected so much more. I could excuse the sourpuss (even downright rude) waitress, if the food was glorious. But, the pad thai noodles were sort of all glued together in a clump. My peanut sauce had a separated oil in it. However, my mom's cashew nut stir fry was the star of the show. My dad ended up eating half of that.

Overall, I was hoping to give the rave that so many others were posting, here. But, I'm giving them a generous 4 stars, based on my perfectly fried chicken and my mother's great dish. DEFINITELY NOT THE WAITRESS.

Note: there was a super chipper, delightful younger gal that was, sadly NOT our server. We got the dour, old auntie.“
