Great wines, delicious pizzas with my favorite being the Margarita and their Kriselle Platter which includes Capicola Slices, Savory Herbed Cream Cheese Spread, Sliced Tomatoes, Italian Olive, Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar and Warmed Baguetteis are by far my favorites. I had forgotten my purse after a stressful day. I didn't realize until I got to the wjndow. This amazing young lady told me not to worry about it and that she would cover it. These kinds of people are so rare and are so important to the world. I want her to know how amazing she is. “Honestly, we weren’t sure this would be great and we had a really nice meal. We had a dog with us, walked in late and sat on back patio. We all really liked our meals at the end of a long day in the park. Lucy was a great waitress for us and service was really good. We had lower expectations based on reviews and were pleasantly surprised at how much we all enjoyed this dinner. Burgers, fish and chips, chicken tenders and great onion rings. We were there mid June btw.“

“Place was packed when we arrived, which is a good sign. That means people like it here so we were anxious to try it. We receded immediately and received our coffee and juice within seconds. It seemed. Food came out about 10 times faster than I expected. Super fast service and the food was really delicious and tasted homemade. Best part was the coffee! Their coffee here is absolutely fantastic! They said it comes from a place called good bean.orange juice tasted fresh squeezed like home made. server was very attentive without overdoing it. Checked on us a couple of times to make sure everything was excellent. Also bussers were ON IT! Dirty plates cleared away very quickly, and polite. Whoever trained the servers and busters here absolutely knows what they’re doing! I worked in the restaurant business for over 10 years, and this crew is top-notch. Totally blown away by this place! Good food, excellent service and excellent coffee! Five stars!“

Said I was beautiful and asked if I was married. Again he was nice and I immediately made it clear I’m a happily married woman and proceeded to show him pictures of my rather hunky husband. Later as the checks came our waiter wrote my friend a note making sure we were ok and if we felt uncomfortable and he gave us a “code” to say if we needed help. “Have a great eggs benedict, besides Parkside. This is overall nice place for southern oregon. Very hometown ask even though it was a pretty well-known chain back in the day. The food is still very relevant, and so far on par.
definitely a breakfast or brunch place, Neverland can always compare, but the contrast is there.
I'm sorry I love good breakfast places. Early risers it's not a morning person. LOL life am I right.

Potatoes, bite size, with a coating, fried to perfection. Delicious firm sourdough toast with homemade strawberry jam. Avocado wedges, and the most melt in your mouth thick slice of ham. We went there for my birthday dinner (myself and my parents), at 5:00pm on a Friday, because my folks are both seniors. There were only two other tables seated, but it was SO loud. The waitress tried to seat us right by the door, immediately across from the counter. But we politely asked for a table against the back wall, so we could hear each other (my mom uses hearing aids). And then the attitude started. Like we asked her to build us a table.

Once agreeing to our request to simply walk 15 feet, she gave us about 90 seconds to look at the menu, but was offended by my mother's request for more time, but couldn't be bothered with a drink order. Then, after repeated attempts to flag her down and being ignored, she finally came back. No explanation of which item came with rice or not, or ??? Never a single smile or anything like a welcoming gesture. Ever.

Finally, after ordering and receiving our food. I have to admit - I expected so much more. I could excuse the sourpuss (even downright rude) waitress, if the food was glorious. But, the pad thai noodles were sort of all glued together in a clump. My peanut sauce had a separated oil in it. However, my mom's cashew nut stir fry was the star of the show. My dad ended up eating half of that.

Overall, I was hoping to give the rave that so many others were posting, here. But, I'm giving them a generous 4 stars, based on my perfectly fried chicken and my mother's great dish. DEFINITELY NOT THE WAITRESS.
