The burrito is packed with filling and flavor, but not busting at the seams (which would make it hard and messy to eat). Don't delay go to Tacos La Morena today. Great wines, delicious pizzas with my favorite being the Margarita and their Kriselle Platter which includes Capicola Slices, Savory Herbed Cream Cheese Spread, Sliced Tomatoes, Italian Olive, Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar and Warmed Baguetteis are by far my favorites. “I hope Wes the owner sees this. There was the sweetest girl working the drive through in White City tonight right before closing. I didn't catch her name. She had long hair dark hair in a pony tail. I had forgotten my purse after a stressful day. I didn't realize until I got to the wjndow. This amazing young lady told me not to worry about it and that she would cover it. These kinds of people are so rare and are so important to the world. I want her to know how amazing she is. “For a park restaurant, this one is a good one. We ate a dinner and also a breakfast here and both were delicious with very friendly staff and no wait at 5PM and 7:30AM. Prices were a little high, but we felt they were reasonable for the area and remoteness.

The gift shop is really good and has a better selection than the one at the rim or visitor center.“

Loved the veal Marsala-so tender with perfectly cooked veggies. My only comment is the marinara sauce is so flavorful it took away from the veal. Would probably choose a plain pasta next time to enjoy with the luscious Marsala sauce. Marcello was our waiter and was delightful. The rest of the staff were very attentive, getting empty plates from the table, filling water glasses, etc. we were just passing thru but will make a point to come back.“

I'm rather picky and feel like sometimes my pancakes are over done but not to the point where most people would be bothered. Never left hungry that's for sure. Eggs are always good, the biscuits are not to my taste but the gravy is delicious. Husband enjoys the skillets but was not impressed with the tritip breakfast, chewy, standard for a breakfast steak in this area, underwhelming. Can't say we have ever ventured outside the breakfast offerings, why would you when that's clearly the superior choice? Team Mint Chip“

Potatoes, bite size, with a coating, fried to perfection. Delicious firm sourdough toast with homemade strawberry jam. Avocado wedges, and the most melt in your mouth thick slice of ham. I finally have time to try out their food and service, it was so good. I order pumpkin curry and that’s like the best curry I ever eaten, I tried Thai restaurant in Medford but none of the place really like this place. They have really nice environment, really cozy and warm and remind me of Asian, I love it❤️

The food makes me feel really full and I finish it. Food portion is not like large portions but enough to make you full with reasonable prices.

Said I was beautiful and asked if I was married. Again he was nice and I immediately made it clear I’m a happily married woman and proceeded to show him pictures of my rather hunky husband. Later as the checks came our waiter wrote my friend a note making sure we were ok and if we felt uncomfortable and he gave us a “code” to say if we needed help. Anyways, that was amazing and so appreciated and it means a lot when someone is paying attention and wants to make sure a couple girls having dinner were ok and felt safe. “Have a great eggs benedict, besides Parkside. This is overall nice place for southern oregon. Very hometown ask even though it was a pretty well-known chain back in the day. The food is still very relevant, and so far on par.
definitely a breakfast or brunch place, Neverland can always compare, but the contrast is there.
I'm sorry I love good breakfast places. Early risers it's not a morning person. LOL life am I right.

“Wow. Like super wow. Our waitress, Ellory knew everything and even suggested timing of items for our loud crew of 5. Food was phenomenal. We got a bunch of rolls and calamari. I'm a bit of a calimary snob and theirs appeared to be hand breaded and prepared fresh. I prefer a lemon aoli sauce and theirs was a smoky paprika kind or marinara. Neither were bad, just not my preference.
The staff was accommodating. We had a great time and we will go back.“

“I really wanted to love this place. Especially with all the great reviews from over the previous years. But...

We went there for my birthday dinner (myself and my parents), at 5:00pm on a Friday, because my folks are both seniors. There were only two other tables seated, but it was SO loud. The waitress tried to seat us right by the door, immediately across from the counter. But we politely asked for a table against the back wall, so we could hear each other (my mom uses hearing aids). And then the attitude started. Like we asked her to build us a table.

Once agreeing to our request to simply walk 15 feet, she gave us about 90 seconds to look at the menu, but was offended by my mother's request for more time, but couldn't be bothered with a drink order. Then, after repeated attempts to flag her down and being ignored, she finally came back. No explanation of which item came with rice or not, or ??? Never a single smile or anything like a welcoming gesture. Ever.

Finally, after ordering and receiving our food. I have to admit - I expected so much more. I could excuse the sourpuss (even downright rude) waitress, if the food was glorious. But, the pad thai noodles were sort of all glued together in a clump. My peanut sauce had a separated oil in it. However, my mom's cashew nut stir fry was the star of the show. My dad ended up eating half of that.

Overall, I was hoping to give the rave that so many others were posting, here. But, I'm giving them a generous 4 stars, based on my perfectly fried chicken and my mother's great dish. DEFINITELY NOT THE WAITRESS.

I eat like a bird, and having to pay this much for the small amount I eat isn't really worth it anymore for my family. It makes me sad because it's one of our favorites. Also, the past 3x we've ordered there, the fortune cookies have been so old they are horrific. I hope they consider maybe doing two sizes for people.“
