“One of the best gyro platters in town. It was delicious ! Super fresh and flavorful ingredients. The staff was very kind and friendly. Everything was top in my opinion. The only issue was the outdoor seating area, which felt uncomfortable due to people yelling nearby. I’d recommend takeout instead.“

Matt's barbecue is pretty famous. Around town. Is also a brewery stall that's quite large. And it's a good neighborhood to walk around in window shop or shop-shop.“

“Great selection of food from the resident food trucks and a great rotating tap list at the bar. Perfect spot for a quick bite to eat and beverage prior to heading to the the Moda Center. “I can't go anywhere at The Heist food cart pod except for Namo Buddha Himalayan. The #4 Chicken Curry is the best dish ever. Delicious chicken and chickpeas in a fantastic red curry sauce. Healthy and full of flavor but not spicy. I keep trying to try another cart and always end up at Namo Buddha Himalayan. Yum.“

“Theres a reason this place gets great reviews, for me its the fresh tasting no rice , no fussy and all flavor burritos at a reasonable price.
Solid tastes with the fresh ingredients feel, no trashy sisco beans, no masses of filler rice. Just good food.“

“Seven of us tried the burgers, Mexican and Mediterranean. By far, the Mediterranean was THE BEST. we had beef and chicken platters and the meat was tender, tomatoes salad fresh, hummus was heavenly! It was also big enough for 2-3 people! The burgers and waffle fries were also GREAT. The Mexican—not so much. The alambre fajitas seemed to have diced hot dogs in it and cheap cheese.“

“This is a great food cart pod area. There is a fantastic variety of different options. The layout is also really great. It has tables and chairs and areas for dogs. What I especially love is that there is a coffee cart which is superb. I highly recommend the Bite on Belmont. It is a great setting.“

“Ordered Pad Se Ew with Lao sausage. Person who took my order and prepared it was super nice. Sausage was so overcooked I thought it was vegan, it was so dry and tough. Otherwise, noodles were prepared nicely, good flavor profile, well balanced spice heat. I’d come back again. Homeless population can get a bit sketchy at the parking lot there. Witnessed an assault. Still, between this and Poompui, there’s good Asian food to be had at this pod.“

“We stopped here while visiting from Chicago. We do not have food cart pods like this at home and I love the concept. This particular pod was among the two best that we visited. We had beer and Indian food and both were above average. I particularly liked the DIY, unpretentious demeanor of the eating space. It had less infrastructure than other pods but for me that was even better, in terms of staying true to the original concept and controlling costs. I just felt at home. Keep it up!“

“We come here a lot and really enjoy the atmosphere. The food and drinks are good. There is a nice play area for kiddos. The only bad experience I had was when I reserved a couple tables for my kid's birthday party. Even though my reservation was written down in their book, they didn't reserve any tables. After about 15 minutes of trying to figure something out for us, I was told there was nothing they could do because we didn't pay for a reservation. They don't charge for reservations, so this was frustrating. I wouldn't recommend bringing a large group here as tables fill up fast.“

“The good: there are a good number of trucks, at least 9-10, almost all open. All mouthwatering. Everyone was friendly. The food we had was really fantastic. Would eat here again.The semi cons: while it will be great when done, the construction means less seating and more dirt. It wasn’t a problem and will give the carts access to public water. So it should pay off. Also, it seemed a little dead, even though it was around lunchtime.“

“I really enjoyed this pod! There are 8+ different places to eat and the food here is wonderful. My wife and I personally tried , "flew the coop" and "La Arepa" and both had great service and the food was delicious. The attached brewery had an amazing selection of beers. The only detractor was that there was A Lot of very hoppy beers. That is a personal preference though. The Beer I did have was delicious. It's very family friendly and I enjoyed it.“

“I really like this food cart spot. It's very close to our house and an easy safe walk. They have live music sometimes and the little pub is great for a drink while waiting for food. I would give it a five star overall but the food carts are intermittent sometimes, especially in the winter. The ground is all black asphalt with no greenery or gardens so overall atmosphere is a little drab and bland. Some planters would go along way. I don't love the tent shelters either. They are warm in the summer and cold in the winter with wind making them loud. Plus the location can be very loud and smelly due to the major roads. Some fence coverings would help with both. Overall I like the Foster Food Carts and will keep going if I need a quick walkable bite close to home.“

“Got the green curry chicken from Suphatra Thai, a food truck in the same cart pod as Firangi Dhaba near my house. Really well balanced — good mix of heat, salt, fat, and sweet, with silky eggplant and fresh basil that really rounds it out. Took about 15 minutes from order. Staff was kind and generous with the portion. Good go-to spot for a low-key weeknight dinner, and there was enough left over for lunch the next day. Would order again.“

“Fabulous venue although I will not be returning as trivia night on Wednesdays has been eliminated. This was my go to place every Wednesday. My happy place, my keep my brain intact, challenge my rivals and see familiar faces place. I'm sad you made this choice, I hope you make better ones next time.“

“I live very close to this place and I love a few of these food carts specifically the chicken and jo jo truck there special jo jos are amazing and there secret batter is the best crispy and perfect mix of seasonings not to salty and then perfect size cut potato wedges not to much potato that it makes it to much to the point you are not able to even enjoy the battered coating this is perfect am need buttery goodness they are deep-fried but amazing you can get a full order or a half order and then the choices of chicken strips or sandwiches you can choose from are very creative and you will not find anything like this anywhere else don't forget there dipping sauce for the jo jos as well also very great and no other place will have it so you have to go to this one specifically to try them it's the food trucks on Powell and 35th between the dollars store and Chipotle the food carts are right between the two businesses and the chicken and jo jo truck is tricked away in back in the center of all the trucks you can't miss it“

“This place is so cool! You're just strolling along, minding your own business when suddenly BAM! Food! It's an entire block of different ethnic food. Mostly Mediterranean, but plenty of other places too. Gyros, shawarma, Mexican, cajun and more, all wrapped around an empty parking lot. Come hungry!“

“Always great quality health drinks and salads - you can taste the freshness. The owner is very knowledgeable about what could benefit you and is always friendly. Some days I come here just for a sweet and healthy drink other days I come here to get something to boost my immunity or energy. Wonderful place! Thank you!“

Village Kitchen - so far my favorite Burmese food in the Northwest district and there something like 4 other Burmese restaurants.

“This place is now one of my favorite sushi spots in Portland. They are very affordable & their service is fast. My kids and I got sushi here today for the first time and I am happy to say I will be back. The owners were amazing and gave us some yummy recommendations such as the Vegas Roll, Tempura shrimp burrito, & much more. I am very glad we had decided to try out a new spot today.“
