“This is my favorite place for a burrito and it’s not even close. The people who run it are friendly, the burrito is huge, and they don’t skimp on the meat. The ingredients are fresh and delicious and the salsas are hot and wonderful. If it were closer to my house I would be there all the time. But it’s good enough that I don’t mind driving 30 minutes from time to time. Brought my wife and kid here today and they both loved it. We also tried a Cabeza taco and it was the best I’ve ever had.

Just saw a one star review someone left a week ago and that person is out of their mind. They have no taste. Ignore them. This place is wonderful.“

“Really good food. My litmus test any time I try a new Mexican place is a carne asada taco and theirs was exceptionally good. The meat was quality - no gristle - and perfectly marinated. They must cook on a smoker or something because there is a smokey note that adds to the already strong basics on flavor.

The salsas are also delicious.

It is expensive at $5+ for a taco, but they're on the larger size and everything is fresh and high quality. It's worth it if it fits your budget.“

I ordered a pastor taco and an asada taco. Total came out to $2.50 which is solid these days.

The pastor meat was a tad on the chewy side but not bad at all. Great flavor. Carne asada had a nice chew and char. The tortillas were cooked perfectly and gave a nice texture to the whole thing. Salsa roja was my favorite kind, maybe some type of chile de arbol or something else roasted to give it a nice opaque dark red.

“On Wednesday, we made a detour to Tito’s Taquitos Swan Island in N Portland.
This was a clean, quick and friendly lunch spot located in the Swan Island industrial area. They have indoor and outdoor seating, with lots of parking.
My husband ordered one rib eye taco on blue corn tortilla, one garlic butter shrimp taco and 4 crispy hand-rolled potato filled taquitos topped with braised beef.
They also offered green, red, or habanero sauces.
Each bite has their flavor, texture, components and the balance to satisfy our taste, we love it.“

“I have eaten lots of taco places but this one happens to be right next to my home and I decided to try it for the first time, I got 4 different tacos from Beef tongue, Shrimp, Fish, Beef cheek and a Pork belly Tostada and they were all absolutely phenomenal and the portion on the Tostada was quite generous for $5. I have had lots of places but the food here is genuinely top notch and seasoned very well. The green sauce is very mild and tangy while the red sauce has an amazing deep flavor with a hefty amount of kick! I always go to Portland for tacos but this will be my go-to spot from now on. The lady behind the counter is very easy going and kind. She asked if I wanted green and ended up tossing a generous amount of Green and Red sauce as well as napkins. It was a tad bit humid inside but most people will pick up or eat right outside at the tables. They also sell a small amount of snacks, fresh fruit as well as a good assortment of drinks. Highly recommended!

“First time visit last night with six of us and they are very nicely opened up the toast restaurant and let us sit in there and we had such a nice evening and the waiter was so friendly and wonderful and really helped us out to get acquainted with the offerings we tried the vegetarian potstickers and also the various vegetarian tacos which were really good. Later we each had a vegetarian Ramen and every single one was delicious and I especially liked the one with the tofu and the hard-boiled egg and the spinach. They brought a small container of warm sake for me which I really liked with a tiny cup I got to choose. The main thing is to try to find a time when the parking is not completely full in the area be prepared to park a ways away and walk which is good for us so it really wasn’t a problem.“
