“Stopped for a quick lunch. Will do it again. Order at the counter and find a seat. Didn't wait long for our food. Delicious sandwiches. The tables and decor are still a work in progressThey seem to have a significant take-out businessParking: Smallish parking lot on the east side of the building“
“Highly recommend this place! Burger was AMAZING & I try MANY different PDX burgers! Curly fries were spot on! And then topped off with malted shakes... yum! We will def be back... often! Oh, the people we really friendly and helpful too, but food was so good I'd go back even if there were jerks... haha“
“Came on a Saturday to have brunch with a couple friends. They weren't busy when we arrived (11a.m.), but packed by the time we were leaving.I had the Eggs Benedict. It was delicious, but the braised pork was over seasoned to me, still edible and tasty if you add a bite to the delicious little roasted potatoes. We all shared a side of Yuca fries, and pecan crusted/candied bacon. Both delicious, and the sauce provided for the fries was amazing. The service was also fantastic! Our server was very friendly and attentive.I would reccomend checking this place out. I will be back.“
“What a gem! We don't eat vegan exclusively but have egg and dairy allergies so getting burgers with cheese and ranch and shakes was awesome! The buddy stix (mozzarella) were not bad but the Paddy's Melt and Newport Nightmare were both great and the Smashed to pieces shake was so good we came back another time just for more shakes! This place is located inside Swan Dive and did not have a sign outside (as they moved recently to the kitchen inside).“
“My husband and I were visiting Portland for a basketball game and we decided to stop here the morning after. We arrived early right before the lunch rush. The food was amazing and the owners/ workers showed great hospitality. Food also came quick! Will definitely be back!“
“Had the Tilikum slider which was a breaded chicken with homemade BBQ sauce crunchy slaw excellent combinations of flavor we also had the Steel slider which was double beef patty with bacon an cheese ?. This us a classic great burger place with options of chicken pork or beef. This place has great food Definitely enjoyed the vibes an locals will be going back often thanks PDX sliders loved the food.Vegetarian options: There's a black bean slider optionParking: Parking is on the streets“
“Love the falafel here. The menu is great and the staff are lovely. They have a great little cafe for coffee and smoothies too. And the market is quite large with lots of drink options. So glad to have this place in the neighborhood, right next to the park.“
“As a SoCal native living in the beautiful PNW, I would be lying if I said I didn't miss great Mexican food. Thank goodness I've found the wonderful folks at Taqueria la Marquesa!! Tortilla? Bomb. Rice? Bomb. Beans? Bomb. Salsas? Bomb. I can go on, but check it out for yourself. Super friendly staff, great chefs. I got the rice, cheese, and bean burrito. Added some sour cream, jalapenos, and french fries. Tried all their salsas, as well as my husband's Loco Burrito. Everything was delicious. We were in heaven! At ten weeks pregnant, I needed this! ?“
“We had a Rubin panini is special in honor of St Patricks day. Yummy. They also have special cocktails and a wide selection of beer including Guinness. Service was friendly and attentive. Since this is a bar, no kids are allowed. Happy hour is 2-6pm.“
“Delicious tasting burgers! Especially the "Special Sauce"! However the French Fries are ok. They would be better if they were homemade but they are not. Overall, a rate of 4 stars instead of 5 because of the quality of French fries. Service is fast, and the owner is pleasant. Be sure to arrive before 3pm and keep track of which days this place is open.“
“Staff is friendly, helpful, menu is enticing, well priced, and most of all the food is delicious! Meals are plated with care and look as good as they taste. Special bonus: best Bloody Mary I've ever had. Our party of four included 2 vegans and two omnivores. Loved everything on the table.“
“No photo can reflect how amazing this Smash Burger truly is. Fresh ingredients, made to perfection. I’ve come to this cart over a dozen times since it has opened, and quality has stayed consistent every time. The $15 order comes with fries, which is a great deal for the amount of food you get. Best smash burger in Portland by far!!This cart is located at Heist, which has a bar and various other food carts if you want to mix and match!“
“I'm not typically a fan of the "smash" burger, but with this place you get to pick a free item to get smashed into the patty- it was great! The burger was super filling and tasty, totally hit the spot. It's not often that the meal comes out better than the picture! If you get the fries, they are probably fine for a normal person, but if you are obsessed like me maybe ask for extra seasoning. They weren't super chatty about the local beef or the menu, but I definitly want to learn more. Also the spot and collection of carts is the best I have seen in Downtown, I definitly want to go back!“
“Easily the best burger in the metro area. They make a smash burger but like anything in Portland. That is not true. It is an almost smash burger more like a pressed burger does not have the lacey char or anything that makes a good smash burger. Also second best burger in Oregon. Junkyard is better. No this burger does not compare to smash burgers in Los Angeles.“
“I’m not sure if Jane is the owner but was very nice. There are two tablets to order on and it was super nice to have a sink to wash your hands not within the bathroom. The pricing was a little expensive but the food was delicious. I enjoyed a single hamburger, fries and even the chicken strips. The flavors really hit the spot! Ava loved the chocolate shake and she was even given quite a few unicorn stickers which made her day.“
“Really friendly and great customer service! Got the brunch burger and it did not disappoint. Perfect burger for when you can’t decide what you want has everything you could need eggs bacon and hash browns! If you are in the area I would suggest checking it out!“
“Finding Zeno's Fusion was a happy accident after a long night at work. Driving up 99 and spotting the open sign was a small sign of fate I'm glad I followed.Zeno's Fusion is a standout spot. The menu isn't just varied; it's thoughtfully put together. Behind each item, there’s a story that adds an extra layer of enjoyment to the meal. It’s clear a lot of care goes into the selection of ingredients and cooking methods.I've visited several times since that first night. The Kebabs and Dolmas quickly became my go-tos, each visit reaffirming my love for their flavors. And the Bison Burger? It’s a must-try. Each dish not only tastes great but feels like it's made with attention and care.I wholeheartedly recommend Zeno's Fusion. It's more than just eating out; it’s discovering flavors that are both familiar and new, all served up in a welcoming atmosphere. If you find yourself nearby, don't hesitate to give it a try.“
“You can have all the atmosphere in the world but it Don't Mean a Thing if the food is not Rockin' I'll go back to make sure this wasn't a one hit wonder but I've Got a Feelin' that it will once again Feel Like the First Time!“
“The only things wrong with this place cannot be helped. The location is absolutely packed. There is little to no parking, the food is amazing so there was nowhere to sit when we ordered our food. We came around 4 on a Sunday.Amazing food. I had something with bacon, I think jam or jelly was running out the bottom. It was decadent. I was too overwhelmed by the goodness to pay attention to what my daughter and her mother had but they knew what they wanted without checking the menu.Excellent hot little strip of shops and food options nearby. Probably better to get a lift into this area and stay awhile.“
“Amazing place!! So much fun!! Free play all day for $12!!! Delicious and unique food choices at reasonable prices and an incredible nostalgic and hip vibe. Can't believe I waited so long to come back. Won't make that mistake again! $100 spent gets you $10 off next visit. 5 × $100 gets you VIP status. Can't wait to achieve! Another outstanding business NE Portland can be proud of!“
“This place has become a generational family tradition. It's definitely got more of my business since mikes drive in is closed still. Usually we order up some long dogs and head down to meldrum bar park to watch the RC cars. Love it here, always friendly staff and good food!Parking: Parking can be limited but opens up quickly.Kid-friendliness: My son loves this place!“
“Really really good burger! The garlic fries are super good- we ordered them and then asked for them to be well done and they were so crispy and delicious. They have a lemonade with whatever featured berries and that was also good. They don’t have a large menu so more like a place that does something and does it well. I look forward to trying their chicken and fish sandwiches.“
“The food is SO GOOD! The signature wicked garden salad is amazing? The house of a thousand no corpses buger is huge and super delicious! Make it a double The staff is really nice and helpful. 10/10 definitely would recommend?Vegetarian options: Everything.Dietary restrictions: All vegan menu?“
“So, I went 4 stars just because this place is CHEAP - like you can get a decent meal for like $7, so that’s a bonus for sure. But just food alone, 3 stars. I thought the burger was pretty mid. The bun was pretty dry, and the burger patty just didn’t hit the mark. Sauce is great tho!“
“I don't eat vegan. I didn't know this place was vegan. I ate vegan. It was mindblowingly, yes one word, amazing! I've never had anything like it! The customer service was awesome! Both cheeseburger and onion rings were amazing! I highly recommend this place!“
“The place is wildly awesome! The vibe and different spaces, a fireplace out, very good burgers and fries! I would say, if you want to eat be aware the kitchen is small for the amount of people that go there. So you can have to wait, 30 minutes max.“
“Super delicious Italian beef and fries. As a Midwest native, I can confirm this place definitely knows how to make a great sandwich. Really really enjoyed the fries with the zombie sauce as well—love a good crinkle cut fry!Definitely will be back to try more of the menu as the cold sandwiches also looked delicious.“
“Wow wow wow wow! The potato wedges are amazing. Especially the fact that they’re gluten-free! I ordered their special Masego chicken burger on a lettuce wrap and it is spectacular. My partner ordered the pesto, chicken burger. I love that they have a pile of pickles as a side dish. I like to see a food cart that has this many options for people with dietary restrictions. I will definitely be back.Edit- next trip I had three beets to the wind (chicken) which was amazing and my partner had chicken cordon blue which he loved. The potatoes were a bit overcooked this time but still yummy.Vegetarian options: They have a housemaid gluten-free dairy, free lentil pattyDietary restrictions: Lots of options for people with gluten sensitivities“
“Randomly chose this place but it was highly rated. I tend to keep my expectations low because you can’t always believe the hype. It was everyone’s first time here and we all loved everything we ordered. The fillet mignon was perfectly cooked and so tender. My husband got the bread pudding, something I’ve never liked but this was beyond any I’ve tried. It wasn’t just mush and he even said it was the best bread pudding he’s ever had. The asparagus was perfectly cooked, the calamari was lightly breaded and also cooked to perfection. The staff were friendly but not hovering. Great place for a special occasion. Will definitely come back during nicer weather to enjoy their patio seating.“
“The fried chicken or shrimp baskets are over the top. They are about the best I have had. Not pre-breaded & frozen. Just awesome food. Service is always spot on. My only suggestion for improvement would be to dampen the sound. This is a happy friendly brew pub but the noise level at lunch is quite high. Overall this is a can't miss place to dine out.“
“All I can say is DELICIOUS!!!! First timer and I assure you, I will be back, back!! ok! Yaaaassss!! Very impressed. Indoor and outdoor eating option. Street parking. A lil pricey, but worth it. I went during $8 sandwich week. Great decision“
“Aside from difficulty queing up due to a dining table being in the way, this place is always amazing. Heavy food, so be prepared, I have yet to have something I didn't like. The Maverick - a vegan western bacon cheeseburger, is my go to sandwich. All of their fries are amazing - especially the "special" fries which are topped with onions, cheez, and a thousand island - ish sauce. They also have Oogave soda (try the watermelon! in fact, try an oogave watermelon float with coconut ice cream). I make it a point to go here whenever I'm in the area. Again, though, be prepared to be full for quite some time after.“
“This place is everything it claims in the name in a good way. The bartenders are so kind and helpful. The atmosphere is comfortable. The only thing I found lacking was the food, and maybe it was an off day or what I ordered, but the chicken strips were awful (precooked chicken sliced and breaded with the worst batter).“
“This is a great place for some real Mexican street food. The last time we grabbed food to go, we got the birria (beef and goat), which are both delicious, and the pozole is also amazing. In addition to the soups, the menu offers a wide variety of tacos, burritos, nachos, and plates (the mole is wonderful). Sahuayo Taqueria is located in the J&Ts Market, so it is more of a "to-go" option than a sit-down type of experience. In the summer, there is outdoor seating.“
“I came down to Visit Portland area for the weekend. After a early morning errand day, I was searching for a diner, to enjoy a breakfast place. I like to look for local business instead of chain diners. I found this place. Very easy location to find. Parking was no issue, great diner. Greeted immediately and was seated. The menu had great choices. Food portions were great, my hashbrowns were cooked to perfection. I highly recommend this place. Next time I come to visit, I'm going to visit again and try something new.“
“it was super good and I wish I could go there every day. The burgers are amazing. The smunchkin was perfect and tiny and tasty, the perfect burger! It was super juicy w yummy pickles and cheese!Vegetarian options: Vegan option burger was not the typical flavor veggie burger. House made specialty is very tasty and original! Perfectly toasted buns and love the caramelized onions!!“
“Edit 3/2024: The food is just as good as always but the service...well it wasn't ever exactly what I would call stellar but at least it was friendly. Besides, you weren't there for anything but the food! But the last time we were there, yikes. Turnover isn't really unfamiliar, waiting tables is rough but these gals were something else. Rough bunch. Put a damper on lunch because they were so rude and sour. Oh well, I'm sure there will be a few new people in there soon. Food is still top notch. If you liked it before, come back. If you haven't tried it, you should. So incredibly good! Best burger in town. Milkshakes with real slices of pie in them. You can't beat that. Monthly specials with seasonal offerings and drinks. You will come back again and again!Parking: Limit spots availableWheelchair accessibility: No wheelchair accessibility“
“I was too impatient to take a photo but let me tell ya…. Everything was scrumptious and I will for sure be returning very soon. You definitely have to try the loaded baked potato fries! The Pig Out burger and the fly pig chicken sandwich was also delicious. This place is on point you can not be disappointed.“
“My first visit to LO location. We ate in and, in addition to the best burgers around, we enjoyed the friendly staff. Our order was ready fairly quickly, the beer was cold and the fries were perfect too! Don't laugh about the paper towels at each table - you'll need them!Parking: Hard to navigate parking lot with lots of cars and not a lot of driving room.“
“A good sports bar to go to when in the downtown Portland area. They have plenty of TV playing sports. We came to watch a game and had some happy hour. The service is pretty good for being how busy they were. The happy hour food is decent. I did enjoy their smash burger and fries.“
“6/5 stars, beyond my expectations. My wife and I drove 50 minutes to try this new food truck in Portland after reading the OregonLive article about them. The food was phenomenal and have us craving for more. We ordered the Smash burger and fries, it was perfect in every way. The bun tasted homemade and super fresh, the patty was cooked perfectly and super flavorful, the homemade pickles were better than any pickles we’ve had from any restaurant, and the monster sauce was the best sauces I’ve had for a “special sauce” mixture (which I normally despise). The fries are cooked to perfection (my wife said she has never had a better fry in her life) and the garlic aioli was delicious. There was no big line, our food was served super quick and was super fresh. This food cart should be picking up business really quick so come get one of Portland’s best smash burgers while you can before the lines start forming.“
“The food was well portioned and delicious! It seemed like a mom and pop shop and the service was exemplary, everyone was so friendly and accomodating. Other amazing touches include a gas fireplace and frosted glasses for milkshakes and beer. I can't believe I've driven by here over 100 times and never knew what it was...“
“This is a great burger joint. I've had the meathead which has a lot of meat and the fun guy with an extra beef patty which was delicious! I'm from out of state but I'll eat there again if I get the chance. Super nice staff also!“
“I've been coming here for years. By far the best teriyaki chicken around. I wonr go anywhere for it. It's cooked to perfection every time and it's never burnt or dry. The chicken is always so juicy. Even my girlfriend loves their teriyaki chicken.“
“The fries are bottomless even as a side with your order so don't be discouraged when they only give you seven fries to start with. Not sure why they do that but you can just ask for more and they come out quick. They also have pretty good vegan cheese that they don't advertise on the menu ?“
“The Maverick Burger was the best burger I have ever eaten. Being plant-based for 3 years, finding quality Vegan takeout food is difficult, and few restaurants can get this right. This burger truly hit the Next Level of taste in the plant-based world.“
“What's better than a sunny day, a great friend and trying out a new place?Vegetarian options: You can order vegetarian options. Great Kombucha!I had an umami burger on a lettuce leaf. It was delicious!Dietary restrictions: Gluten-free freeKid-friendliness: Many kids. They were all fascinated by the small dinosaurs in the windows they could take to their tables.“
“Look it’s a food cart on sandy blvd, that’s why I gave it a 3 star for atmosphere, this place is a great place to eat for lunch, real fast service, I’ve eaten lots of different dishes here and all of them have been great, the staff are all real nice.“
“All I can say is DELICIOUS!!!! First timer and I assure you, I will be back, back!! ok! Yaaaassss!! Very impressed. Indoor and outdoor eating option. Street parking. A lil pricey, but worth it. I went during $8 sandwich week. Great decision“
“Stopped by here on a Sunday evening for dinner. There was a large poker tournament going on in the back with a few patrons in the bar area either eating or playing games. Bartender was incredibly friendly and wanted to make sure we got our food orders in before the poker group did so we wouldn’t have to wait.Even though I felt the food and drinks came in a timely fashion the bartender still apologized repeatedly and thanked us for our patience. Will definitely return here just because of the great service.“
