“Passed by this place several times & today we finally stopped in and gave it a shot. So glad we did!
We split the beef bulgogi bahn mi & spicy Momo’s. All of it so delicious and perfectly balanced. Veggies were pickled wonderfully & don’t pass up on the hot chai. Great fresh comfort food & kind staff. Ate it too fast for a photo. Can’t wait to come back!“

“Just visited this place for the first time today. This is without a doubt the best banh mi I’ve had since visiting Saigon two years ago. If I could rate this 10/5 stars I would. High recommend anyone try the egg banh mi and add the pâté.“

“Heard of this place thru friends and referral but did not get a chance to try their food until today. I’m very happy, impressed, and satisfied with the Special Sausage Egg Combo dish and Peach Tea drink this evening. Really love the generous portion in the box, the meat is so tender and so flavorful and the side veggie, pickle is so fresh. This dish is very common and can be found at any Vietnamese restaurant, but this place is definitely a step above. Recommended!“

“The food is pretty good, but definitely a little less meat than some other places. Super authentic taste. The soup noodle dish they serve is what they’re best at. Service was top notch. Place is a little cramped and there is only two parking spots, one is for disabled parking so you may need to find street parking.“

“They have vegan options. The super size is so much pho for one man to eat. They are closed on Wednesdays. Also, I've always wondered why they have so many liquor bottle boxes. It's quite exceptional how many they go through with how many takeout orders they get. I can't imagine somebody is drinking that much liquor at this place.“

“This place completely hits the spot. The pho here is consistently excellent. The soup arrives steaming hot, and the broth has that rich, aroma from that warms you straight to the soul. Portions are very generous. The service is fast and friendly. If you are looking for authentic, comforting pho in the area. Come here!“

“We stopped here for a late lunch and really enjoyed the food. The crispy spring rolls were a yummy appetizer, and the sauce they came with tasted great. I ordered coconut curry with shrimp for my meal and really enjoyed it—a delicious flavor with just a hint of spice. My wife ordered pho and said it was delicious too.“

There was a party of 20 people yet we got served quickly. Bathroom was a bit unorganized. But overall clean.

“I had the pleasure of dining at Ka Te, Portland's very best Asian restaurant! The atmosphere was cozy and inviting, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I was especially impressed by the owner Eric, who was knowledgeable and passionate about the restaurant and the food they served.The food was absolutely amazing! I had the opportunity to try a variety of dishes and they were all incredibly delicious and authentic. The pho was especially good, and the broth was flavorful and just the right balance of spices. The spring rolls were also excellent, and the fish was cooked to perfection.I also had the chance to try the karaoke for the first time, and it was a great experience. Everyone was having a great time, and the atmosphere was very inviting.Overall, my experience at Ka Te was one of the best I've ever had. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly, and the atmosphere was perfect. I would highly recommend Ka Te to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable Vietnamese experience.“

“I would say this place is good. There was an incredible amount of beef in my pho and it tasted amazing. I was the only one in the restaurant when I went so I got the whole place to myself. They did not have pork banh mi which was unfortunate but I still recommend.“
