“Phaya Thai has become our all-time favorite restaurant! They have figured out how to deliver high quality and delicious meals every time, and so quickly! The flavors are complex and they have so many options. Their proteins are always tender and flavorful from their beef to their catfish and even tofu. I have celiac and Phaya Thai is sort of a holy grail - a safe restaurant I thought would only exist in my dreams. We'll keep making the trek from Vancouver week after week!“

“The UnBEETable Burger is ridiculously delicious!! I like it with the cashew mozzarella--the chimichurri, aioli, and pickles all made by hand in the cart are perfect toppings for the hearty beet-walnut-lentil patty.“

“Ice cream aside, all the workers we so nice so energetic and it was overall and amazing experience! They had a a banger playlist playing, I was jamming. For the icecream also really good I have only ever been to salt & straw one other time I don't remember it. They have good vegan flavors and were very conscious of my husband's gluten intolerance. Overall an amazing experience would recommend and go again!“

“Finally checked out Mirisata and so happy I did. This was my first time trying Sri Lanka cuisine and I was skeptical as vegan food is not always my favorite. In this case I was blown away by the flavor and feeling of comfort my meal provided. The spices were apparent, but not so much you couldn’t taste the dish. It was filling, but not heavy or greasy. Will definitely come back.“

“BEST PLACE TO GET ASIAN FOODS!!! I was traveling from a different state here, and my group was really hungry, and we wanted Asian foods since we're Asian. This place surprised us so much. It tastes so much like our home country. I couldn't provide any picture because we were really hungry from the long trip and just dove in to eat. The food reminds me of my home country, and it was amazing. The prices are affordable. The service is awesome. My sister dropped her orange juice and got a new one without extra charges. It looks small and old, but the food isn't. The quality is fresh. The people are really friendly. Definitely coming back again.“

“Had the pleasure of finally trying this coffee shop next to one of our favorite stores to check out! The coffee was super yummy and the pastries we all chose to pair with them were phenomenal! The potato leek pastry is to die for and we truly cannot wait until we can return! We live about an hour and a half from Portland so it’s always a treat to stop by and refuel here. Hopefully people feel inspired to branch out and try the offerings here because they are very much worth your time and enjoyment.“

“Vegan noodles and tea leaf salad need work. I was disappointed by them especially for the price point. Noodles were just noodles, a little bok choy and mushrooms. Looked like something I would cook myself when I was running out of groceries. Carrot salad and beef curry were great though!“

“It’s not on the online menu, but every time I have been there they have a vegan breakfast sandwich that is to die for… Just Egg, vegan cheese, and sun-dried tomatoes on a ciabatta bun. Then I have a chai made with oat milk to go with it. A perfect way to start the day! They also have some vegan pastries, avocado toast, and a few other things that are vegan. “Discovered this place by accident and it was such a happy surprise, it was quiet for a Thursday dinner so we got taken care of extra quick. The drink menu was plenty and the one I picked “phuket fantasy” had me at hello. Some of the best Tom yum soup i’ve had in a while and the entrees where generously portioned and the presentation was wonderful, tried two different items, the khao san basil rice with ground pork was delicious. Can’t wait to try different items on the menu,“

“During quick trip Portland, Oregon, I had to get my Vietnamese food fix at Hanoi Kitchen The bun bo hue and banh cuon were excellent. Bun Bo Hue had a rich deep flavorful broth with pork blood and pork legs. The banh cuon was soft and delicious with fresh cha lua. 5/5 Stars would recommend! ⭐️“

“Slowbomb is on my regular rotation because they have great coffee and they know what to do with it. The breakfast sandwich menu makes this place a one stop shop in the morning. You can text your sandwich order in ahead of time to make your stop more efficient as well. Cookies and pup cups too!“

“I've been gluten and dairy free since 2021... not by choice. That's also the last time I had baked goods that actually tasted like they were supposed to. I tried several items from Gem Bakery including: cupcakes, chocolate cake, glazed donut, caramel brownie, chocolate cookie, and bagels. Oh my goodness, they were just how I remembered them tasting! Texture was spot-on, flavor was delicious, and I wouldn't have known the desserts were gluten and dairy free at all. There were no gritty or gummy textures in the wheat flour replacement and there wasn't an overwhelming coconut flavor where dairy was replaced. I hope to return to this basket every time we visit Portland!“

“absolutely delicious, and very different from your average Portland cafe. they've got all glass exterior walls which brings in the light from outside, but it's super well lit inside without being overwhelming. and the baristas were both excellent, and quick too!

I ordered a pistachio milk (!?) mocha, and the barista who made it asked if i wanted the morrocan spice on it...
ya'll. get the morrocan spice on it. it was an absolutely divine experience; i've never had pistachio milk before, so the whole thing was an experience on first sip. i also got a veggie biscuit (for $5!! in downtown?!) which was also incredible, and came out piping hot which is exactly what i needed on this cold morning.

i will definitely be back here. it's dangerous that I will be in the area twice a week!“

“It has been a couple of years since i have been to Andina and the food was as amazing as I remembered..maybe even better! A different menu of course but the same great flavors and creativity. “Go here and get the best (huge) wedge salad of your life. With the fried chicken add-on. So good! Staff are super friendly, efficient, and the drinks are unique. Hubby also enjoyed his burger and fries a lot. Not much indoor seating, but lots of outdoor fires and spots to hang out with a beverage and our time eating dinner up at the bar was also very enjoyable.“

“The owner of this company, the good doctor Melissa, had some dogs that got out and ate several pets around our town yesterday (kelso, Washington) . About a dozen assorted pets. They entered a garage and tore apart a bunny huch and ate three rabbits. They ate one of my chickens. They ate a cat according Melissa's neighbor, she said she has video of the dog walking with a cat in its mouth. it also ate four other chickens just yesterday. When I called Melissa to find out how I was gonna be compensated she hung up on me. Another petty owner reported she was giving her attitude. Then, the animal control officer tells me this morning she made a joke about one of the dead chickens. She said the owner can now "have a nice BBQ." This all coming from the owner of this chocolate company. At least her husband was reasonable. The audacity to hang up on me. I have literal pictures of her dogs eating my chickens. Very lucky I didn't take her to court. People should be aware though, they can't claim to be cruelty free and then leave the dogs to eat others pets and then crack jokes about it. Like, how is that vegan or cruelty free? I'm gonna include some photos and a call log. yiu can see i called tye phone number on the dog tag and she hung up on me. that's why it's only 15 seconds long.“

“I am truly kicking myself for living so close to this place and not trying it sooner. What an absolute delight, clearly made with so much meticulous craft and love. Tucked away and very easy to miss but easily one of my favorite desserts in town.

And I feel like I must make a point of saying that I am not vegan, so I'd give this place more than 5 stars for creating something that transcends my usual craving for dairy based desserts!
