“Captain's berried treasure was the best ice cream I've ever had. It was absolutely to die for. The flavors and textures were absolutely incredible. I also loved that they had several clearly marked vegan options on the menu. The service was good, and the atmosphere was cute. One scoop was a ton of ice cream and the price was just right. I cannot recommend this ice cream enough! Absolutely delicious.“

“A stunning experience. When I walked in I was greeted by the most charming host who quickly sat my party of five. We had all just arrived from a weekend in Saint Tropez and was properly famished. The atmosphere reminded me of places I often frequent in Berlin: atmospheric, warm, and intimate. Our food arrived promptly and the plating was perfect. Honest and delicious, I licked the plate as it felt right. Once I’m back from Ibiza this is the first stop I’ll make.

“Brunch here was everything I've heard. I've wanted to eat here for ages. The Besaws pancake is life! The crispy potatoes are uniquely delicious. The service is phenomenal.“

“Dinner with a couple of friends and we decided to try out the menu. Started with Aracini and the MB Salad. Delicious! On to the main dishes of Foie & Chicken Mousse, Grilled Prawns and King Salmon with Grilled Potatoes and Brussel Sprouts. Finished with the Gilled Bananas Foster. All the dishes were excellent. The staff couldn't have been more friendly or efficient.“

We ordered pho and egg rolls—both were good, though the meat in the pho was a bit on the dry side, and the egg rolls were slightly overcooked. The broth had good flavor, and the service was friendly, making for a pleasant experience. They have limited parking on the back of the restaurant.“

“This bar is so cozy! The atmosphere is very welcoming and they have plenty of seating around the bar and tables. Would be a great date spot.

“Finally checked out Mirisata and so happy I did. This was my first time trying Sri Lanka cuisine and I was skeptical as vegan food is not always my favorite. In this case I was blown away by the flavor and feeling of comfort my meal provided. The spices were apparent, but not so much you couldn’t taste the dish. It was filling, but not heavy or greasy. Will definitely come back.“

“Simply phenomenal food. I have never had these flavor combinations before and was delighted by every bite. The ginger salad, mushroom noodles, and pork curry were all exceptional. My friends and I had an enjoyable afternoon eating and chatting in the bright space. Staff were very friendly. We will be back!“

“I've been here twice. Recently, and as part of a larger group. I got the Ginger Spiced Chai both times and it was so flavorful. Ample seating, clean cafe, good vibes, friendly staff. It was cozy sitting at the window bar area looking out at the deck. When I sat with the larger group, the seating in the back of the shop had plenty of space for all 8-10 of us. So close to Food Fight too, really convenient to pick up some snacks afterwards.“

“Mehri's is the best breakfast in Portland. The country breakfast is to die for with tender biscuits and sausage gravy with plenty of meat. The sweets are also memorable with apple gellate and scrumptious brownies and cakes/cookies. Such a warm neighborhood atmosphere that is always welcoming whether you a first timer or a regular. Highly recommend!“

“Hanoi Kitchen is one of the few places in Portland that brings northern Vietnamese cuisine to the table. Our family loves this place. It brings us back to the time we lived in Hanoi down to the way Bun Cha is prepared. Must try.“

“I'm honestly ashamed that I'd never had Filipino food before trying Baon, but I'm so grateful to have been introduced to this amazing food thru Baon. They are doing great things. They have great vegan options. The Pancit noodles are insanely delicious. I have to get them atleast once a week and I cannot stress this enough: THEY MAKE THEIR OWN NOODLES IN HOUSE!!!! Like. I'm shook. Do you know how tedious and difficult it is to make noodles? And to make them consistently perfect every time? I can't wrap my mind around it. And they make a calamansi soda in house that is awesome. I didn't even know what a calamansi was until I went to Baon, now it's one of my favorite fruits. Owners are the kindest people ever. I love this place!“

“I walked up to order and saw loads of basil in front of me getting ready to be turned into something delicious. I ordered a small order of arancini balls. I was delighted that I could choose different ones on the same order. They had 4 varieties and all sounded amazing. I ordered the original mozz and the pepperoni and mozz. Then I could choose from 4 different sauces and I chose the original marinara. These were so good along with the sauce that I can’t wait to go back and try all of them but next time I’m ordering the large for sure! Additionally I ordered the Italian chopped salad and added grilled chicken and soppressata dry cured ham. It was an explosion of flavors! The grilled chicken was so good along with the ham. I can’t wait to go back and try more. Next I’m trying either the eggplant parm sub of the vegan pesto pasta, especially after witnessing the mound-o-basil. I won’t be forgetting the large aracini balls either ;)“

The restaurant has a spacious and open atmosphere with a fast-food-style setup where you order and pay before seating yourself. We enjoyed a beer🍺, a cocktail (Jojo Carajillo)🍸, a BLT sandwich, a chicken bacon sandwich ($16), and the original plain Jojo ($6.50).
The freshly fried Jojos were piping hot and had a wonderfully soft and warm texture inside. Even though we ordered a regular size, the portion was huge! Everything was delicious.
The only small disappointment was that we added an egg to the BLT for an extra $2, but it wasn’t included. It might have just been a simple mistake. Other than that, all the dishes were freshly made, generously portioned, and tasted great!🥰“

“I ate at Verde Cocina en la Perla while at a work conferencein Portland, Oregon. The food was so delicious that I build my entire birthday around eating there! I live in Olympia, Washington. It is over an hour drive but I will keep doing it every few months. I had Arro as my bartender and server both times. He treats you like FAMILY, and this place IS family owned. I even was introduced to the creator of the Horchata French Toast dish. It is so good I cry happy tears thinking about it. Please visit for brunch and order it, you will NOT be sad about it. I don't even use syrup on the French toast, because the Horchata sauce is so so good on its own. The chillequilles are so so good with eggs OR tofu. Arro was awesome in helping us select desserts...the flan is so dang good, and it is #vegan! My wife and I are #vegetarian, but when I went with a coworker, he said that the meat dishes are "fire." I had a drink both times, first was the mango margarita. Tastes fresh and delicious! Had the perfect amount of tequila but tasted like juice...😈 I have also ordered the Paloma. I can't tell which one is my favorite!!! Anyways, do yourself a favor and order. Trust me.“
