“I swear this McDonald’s location has the NICEST, friendliest, sweetest workers out of any fast food place I’ve ever been. I can’t express enough how enjoyable it is to speak to people here. Every time I’ve come in the last two years, I leave happy! :)“

“Centrally located on the major traffic artery in the heart of west downtown Portland, people of every walk of life walk or drive in for the quintessential fast food experience. Amazing what wonders a ranch Snack Wrap or two can do at 2 A.M.“

“If it's November or December hurry in to get your McRib. This place always seems to have two Filet-O-Fish on sale for $6. And, you might not believe me but this place has great music on the speakers.

“This location is in the Hollywood district in Portland, OR...very close to my mother in law's home. She love the McChicken which she enjoys with Sweet n Sour dipping sauce! They make it so fresh & just right temp & tenderness for her. The staff at this location is truly a hardworking team of ladies & gentlemen, both young & middle ages, happy, greets the customer with a smile & immediately attends to their orders. Food is definitely fresh, and since my mom-in-law is a daily regular patron, they her by first name- Rita. The store inside is very clean, toilets are well maintained and as it's so close to a school - as I've experienced a lunchtime with a whole bunch of kids came in for lunch, and the place becomes a beehive of activities, everyone in the staff jumping into action to get all these kids fed & back to school within the hour. A very well run operation as we too got our orders completed in a short few minutes. Parking was open, well marked, clean lot & very convenient to navigate on a busy day. Truly a great stop for our hungry family!“

“Drive-thru service was excellent. We had a large order. The cashier was patient and easily made adjustments to the order where we needed. Order was perfect, nothing missed! We had to wait briefly for part of our oder but it was delivered quickly to us with a smile. The food was hot and we are always happy to have the fries!“

“Google listed this location as open 24 hours, but we discovered they actually closed at midnight while we were ordering at 11:55 after leaving the airport. The staff was very pleasant about assisting us, even though we came through with a van full of hungry teenagers. Everyone was super friendly and double checked to make sure all of the items we order were taken care of. It would have been understandable if they had expressed frustration or even turned us away given the timing, but everyone was friendly and accommodating. Very much appreciated.“

“Honestly, it’s my go to because I have early school. I usually do curbside, and it’s the same folks. My order is ready, it’s fresh, it’s what you expect when it comes to consistency. And that’s what I’m looking for.

I’ve been inside and that’s fine too. I miss a setup that is more employee and customer friendly—it feels like the employees are put in a weird space that isn’t as hospitable and they have to book it to do app, and delivery service orders AND live orders.

I don’t like that for the employees since hospitality is about the people, but I don’t think the larger corporations care about their employees as much as profitable returns to shareholders.

But we could go on about that all day.

Basically, it’s a good McDonald’s. I appreciate the folks working there. And I hope they hear that more.“

“Chicoby helped me with my drive thru order, his customer service skills was very professional and even asked me if I wanted him to repeat my order again , something the other cashiers never asked for, thank you Chicoby. “I went at 12:30 in the morning after being sick for 4 long days of going without eating and the sweet young man at the first window was so kind to me and didn't rush me thru the drive-thru even tho they were extremely busy and the wonderful woman at the last window allowed me to get one buy one free of the double cheeseburgers and all I had to do is a survey from the receipt, which I didn't take 😞 So I'm writing this review to say thank you to them for having kind hearts and being patient with me at the drive-thru. Your kindness didn't go unrecognized!“

“Stopping at Jantzen Beach is always a really easy task. If you're going north or south on I-5 and you are hungry or need to use the bathroom this is an easy stop between Vancouver and Portland. You don't want to get off unless you're going somewhere in Portland you do not want to exit the freeway because you'll end up on a bridge going somewhere where you don't want to be. So if you want to get some grub then do it right before you get to the city. Going north it's a little easier to exit Vancouver looking for food but the on-off is so easy at Jantzen Beach that I would not do it anywhere else. That being said the McDonald's was clean. There were plenty of workers. I don't like having to order at a kiosk but they're all kind of going that way so I just have to learn to get over it. My fries were exceptionally good because they were fresh out of the fryer. And my burger was great as usual.“

“This location is always extremely quick to process and make my orders, and the Breakfast is always super fresh! The ladies that run this place are really nice.

The only downside is the area this location is in. Despite the constant chaos outside, the inside of this establishment is clean and comfy.“

“Never have any issues with my orders at this location. Recently had an encounter with a staff who was very friendly. Provided me with first aid for my son who scraped his knee in the play place after he delivered our food. If I remember correctly, his name is Ethan. Great customer service.“

“This mcdonalds is no joke, the staff are insanely fast and intuitive as to what to expect anytime of the day. I hate that everything's kiosk based now. They can help you are the counter but they prioritize fast service and hot food over customer interactions. The atmosphere is kinda meh, probably bc no one has to wait for food and they can just me in and out!“

“We ordered last sunday at midnight after a long day where time got away from us. Most places were closed and we forgot to get dinner. Not expecting much, we were blown away how awesome the whole experience was. Food was hot, fresh, and ready quickly. The staff was also really nice and in a good mood. I would have thought it was middle of the day. You guys did great and I hope management knows.“

“I was very impressed with the service and the food at this McDonald’s. That’s saying a lot considering I usually get pretty average service than average food from most McDonald’s that I visit (which is not much anymore). I ordered the wrong thing (100% my fault) through the mobile app. When I went to pick it up, I saw it was an iced coffee instead of a hot coffee and mentioned it to the person that gave it to me. His name was Angel and he was very professional. Without any attitude, he fixed it for me and gave me a new coffee. He also took back my hash brown and gave me a fresh and hot one. Great service and great attitude from the drive-through attendant, Angel.“

“There was this worker, his name was Alex.
Lets say this worker whos name is Alex, elevated my McDoanlds experience to another echelon. Truly. He made the experience magnificent and trancendant of mankind and up into a higher spiritual level. This worker is worthy of all praise and love , oh my god, what an amazing worker that is apart of mcdonalds. To Alex: Simply, thank you. Youre the best.“

“My son was so happy for the huntrix meal. Drive thru went by quick this afternoon compared to the McDonald's down the street line long and slow so we decided to go here and they got us in and out quick with a long line too food hot and fresh Great customer service“

“the bread always taste like it come out of the freezer except for the rolls for the fish for some reason. and then they decide for no reason at all that your app is fraudulent and close it down with no warning and cant tell you the reason. amd the wait times are ridiculous. and dont get me started on the double lane. thats another joke.“

“Nothing special, same as the million or so other McDonald's across the US. But I was really impressed with the attitude of the staff. I came in wearing my work jacket and used the kiosk to place my order. I was getting breakfast sandwiches for my work crew so I think I ordered like 12 sandwiches 8 hashbrowns and a handfull of coffees. The lady who called my number was really nice and professional. I came up to the counter and all the food was on a big tray. She read my receipt out loud, showed me everything was there as ordered, and quickly got it packed into a big bag with handles. I appreciate that she took the extra minute to make sure everything was there and show me that everything I ordered was going into the bag so I wouldn't have to come back or worry about anything missing.“

“Recently discovered that they open at 6am for dine-in customers, but I had to call for that information. Figured i would share that here if anyone wanted to know. Not bad overall experience. Might be good if you guys posted more than just drive thru hours though.“
