McDonald's in Portland

“Thank goodness they have bathrooms that for a small purchase anybody can use them. A Godsend for Uber drivers.

They were busy cleaning the whole inside of the building when I got there I got prompt service.

I just wish it was better quality food“

“This has probably been the calmest, safest McDonald’s I’ve ever been to, even when full of diners. The customer service was superb - an employee came by to ask if we needed anything, and other employees helped customers with the ordering kiosks. The food was average McDonald’s, but the coffee was good and strong, and the atmosphere was great. Very clean, too!“

“It's a hit or miss really sometimes I'll get fresh mouth watering belly filling want seconds but don't need them kind of experience and sometimes I get reminded WHY I rarely go to McDonald's for my too lazy to make myself food nights! It's the dry old fries, and the stale buns with a drop of ketchup maybe a pickle and the wrong size patty that is a hard pass on McD's until next month probably lol“

“the play place was loud as hell but some kid was doing like backflips and that was awesome the entertainment here is great but I lowkey thought some of those kids were getting brutally murdered cause they were SCREAMING

one of the workers started talking to us about her two thousand grandchildren and I was a little scared but that's okay. food was fire but all of the salt migrated onto a singular fry and I swear I almost died but I made it out 🙏🙏🙏“

“Please stop making the fries hot crispy salty and delicious. Stop making the fish fillet perfectly, you know, with the bun so soft it could be a menu item on its own? With the half slice of American cheese so perfectly melted into the tartar sauce and the fish crispy and light? Even the coke tastes better.

I’m trying not to eat at your establishment. You’re destroying my health and I can’t quit you.“

“This McDonald’s is chaotic and sometimes dangerous. It’s not uncommon to witness drug use or police presence here. And yet amidst it all, the employees are personable and noticeably efficient. Orders are always correct, service is quite friendly given the atmosphere, and it’s like a beacon of light in the dark cave that is Burnside.“

“The food was not hot to order and the milkshakes seemed light and very airy which left a funky aftertaste.

Vegetarian options: Other than a salad which are not all that. You do not really have it was an option. It’d be nice if they at least have a veggie burger.

Kid-friendliness: Its great to take your kids. It would be nice of that to play place like they had back in the day.

“Don't take to long to order they get pretty upset if you make them wait. Besides a couple rude employees this McDonald's is cool.

“We went to order 2 Kerwin Frost adult happy meals and they were good, but we keep getting the same chicken mcnugget character toys in them. Poor guy at the window told us that he said the "q" word while it wasn't busy & next thing he knew there was 10 people ordering Kerwin Frost happy meals, driving him insane outta nowhere. He deserves to be paid at least McDouble if not McTriple for his efforts.

Vegetarian options: Iono bruh, maybe the fries? Apple pie?

“I've been here a number of times without issue. However, This particular time, they forgot 2 orders of chicken nuggets. There was a slight issue with getting them back due to a language barrier, but i did receive them.

Parking: Construction currently happening, difficulty with flow of traffic somewhat

“Note this review is based on service received 3/2/25 around 8pm. This location has been hit or miss but I had a better than normal experience tonight and that has to do with the staff during this shift. Not only friendly, followed order details entered in app but the food was actually prepared better than normal. I normally visit this location weekdays during lunch hours and have not had good experiences with the "pickup window" as they don't check the order & leave things out and it's impossible to get help because they ignore you at the counter. I started using the drive thru instead & that works better. Wanted to give credit to the crew tonight as they are doing a great job compared to others at that location.“

“They were open unlike what the website said at 7:15pm and I was able to sit at a table and eat. Quiet and peaceful at this time of night on a Sunday and the staff was nice. The happy meal was a great deal for a 4 piece chicken nugget w double fries (you can opt out of apples and add extra fries) and my apple juice choice for $4.49 total with NO tax. I didn’t know OR or at least Portland had no tax on food at the airport. Happy w that. The only thing I wished: the fries were cold even though the food came out very fast under 7 minutes.“

“I'm honestly surprised they got my order correct 🤷🏻‍♀️
But with 2 cars ahead of me when I got in line in the drive through, it shouldn't have taken them 28 minutes from the time I got in line until I got my food! We had to pull forward and so did the person in front of me!
MY COOKIES WERE FRESH AND HOT THOUGH! THAT'S WHAT REALLY MATTERS HERE! lol
Also I want to say thank you to the lady that brought my food out, I asked her if I could follow her back to the window to get hot mustard and I told her I just hated one and she gave me two! What a boss! I super appreciated that! And I didn't have to pay anything extra for the sauces even better!“

“honestly I went here for national cheeseburger day to get the $0.50 double.... The people that work here are the best. it's standard McDonald's which doesn't have good food and it's not like a place that you would ever want to hang out.“

“It's a classic Mickey Dee's. The food is horrible for your body but so delicious in your mouth! That's why I had to give it a 3. To be honest, if they would just get a couple poker machines in there, I would rate them at a 5 despite the lack of health benefits. But alas, someone in the government has to pretend to have scruples!“

“McDonald’s is McDonald’s. Only wish they would clean up the homeless people sitting outside, the food is standard for McDonald’s, not much seating inside, service was great. Guy that took our order was not in uniform which was kinda weird but other than that it was great!“

“Food was what I expected from McDonald's. The service, just afternoon, is top notch. Very friendly very helpful. Restroom could have been cleaner so too the restaurant but over all a calm relaxing lobby and dining area.

Parking: Drive behind Jiffy Lube to find ample parking. Stay parked behind McDonald's to avoid contact with homeless. Enough room for tractor and trailer.“

“Was asked to pull over to wait for food. Waited 15minutes before going to find out that our food was given to a different person. And since when do they out shredded lettuce on a quarter lb burger. Oh and what happened to the pickles. And the fries are over cooked. Hard. Can’t even eat them. This location has gone down hill badly.“

“UPDATE: I went back to this McDonald's about two months after my initial review and I was pleasantly surprised to be able to change my "STAR RATING" from a "ZERO" to a "5 star status!" The employees were very friendly and helpful, the food was HOT & FRESH, the restaurant/dining room area was CLEAN and WELL CARED FOR. There were a few "houseless" individuals inside the lobby, but I was glad to see the McDonald's employees still treat them with the dignity and respect that they deserve as customers! 😍😁 So I have updated my star review to reflect my most recent experience. If I could give 0 stars I would. They took my order in the drive thru And then waited until the food was already made to tell me that they were not accepting card payments (WHICH THEY DECIDED THAT THEY WERE ONLY TAKING CASH AT THAT EXACT TIME 🤔) so they wasted food, refused my payment and then said they couldn't do anything because OF THE FACT THAT I DIDN'T HAVE CA$H. ZERO stars. Bullshit.“
