McDonald's in Portland

“Shout out to this McDonald’s. Been having to look for the right hello kitty toys to complete sets for Grandma, my own kids, and their cousins who are obsessed with both Godzilla and Hello Kitty. After having to frequent so many McDonald’s in the Portland metro area…this is the best one. All the workers and managers are super friendly. We’ve ordered a few happy meals here on different occasions. Appreciate yall!“

“Drive-thru service was excellent. We had a large order. The cashier was patient and easily made adjustments to the order where we needed. Order was perfect, nothing missed! We had to wait briefly for part of our oder but it was delivered quickly to us with a smile. The food was hot and we are always happy to have the fries!“

“I spent the night at a friend's place, and upon my early awakening was instructed to make a Mccy D's run for them.
I thought they were joking at first, so I chuckled and went back to sleep.
Turns out they weren't (they didn't want to miss the kickoff), and away I went in search of the nearest golden arch.
That place was a well-oiled machine.
8 cars in the Drive-Thru? Piece of cake.
I was shocked!
This DOES break my streak of not going to a McDonald's, but I still won't eat it! Do people still go there for dinner and s*#$?“

“This location is in the Hollywood district in Portland, OR...very close to my mother in law's home. She love the McChicken which she enjoys with Sweet n Sour dipping sauce! They make it so fresh & just right temp & tenderness for her. The staff at this location is truly a hardworking team of ladies & gentlemen, both young & middle ages, happy, greets the customer with a smile & immediately attends to their orders. Food is definitely fresh, and since my mom-in-law is a daily regular patron, they her by first name- Rita. The store inside is very clean, toilets are well maintained and as it's so close to a school - as I've experienced a lunchtime with a whole bunch of kids came in for lunch, and the place becomes a beehive of activities, everyone in the staff jumping into action to get all these kids fed & back to school within the hour. A very well run operation as we too got our orders completed in a short few minutes. Parking was open, well marked, clean lot & very convenient to navigate on a busy day. Truly a great stop for our hungry family!“

“07/20/2025. They're struggling today. I didn't ask for a replacement sandwich because I had to already go fetch onions. Service slower than usual. Food was good. 08/20/2026 . Another day another bad order. Food cold no heat in the fries at all. Hamburger was only warm in the center I wish door dash didn't use this McDonald's probably will order from Burger King“

“Stopping at Jantzen Beach is always a really easy task. If you're going north or south on I-5 and you are hungry or need to use the bathroom this is an easy stop between Vancouver and Portland. You don't want to get off unless you're going somewhere in Portland you do not want to exit the freeway because you'll end up on a bridge going somewhere where you don't want to be. So if you want to get some grub then do it right before you get to the city. Going north it's a little easier to exit Vancouver looking for food but the on-off is so easy at Jantzen Beach that I would not do it anywhere else. That being said the McDonald's was clean. There were plenty of workers. I don't like having to order at a kiosk but they're all kind of going that way so I just have to learn to get over it. My fries were exceptionally good because they were fresh out of the fryer. And my burger was great as usual.“

“I usually get the McChicken but went for the double cheese full meal. I have to say the burger was not great and I could not tell if it was the cheese or the meat. Last time I had a Big Mack that was delicious. I only eat plain or plain with cheese as I like the taste of the meat usually.“

“Neri was absolutely amazing! She was super friendly and provided outstanding customer service. I accidentally ordered the wrong drink, and she went above and beyond to make the correct one for me without any extra charge. Her willingness to help really made my morning! I truly appreciate every employee at this location; they work so hard, especially those handling curbside delivery. They definitely deserve to receive tips! Thanks, Neri, you truly made my day! 🌟“

“Chicoby helped me with my drive thru order, his customer service skills was very professional and even asked me if I wanted him to repeat my order again , something the other cashiers never asked for, thank you Chicoby. You did an awesome job and also I hope they give you a raise for being such a kind hearted person talking to me while I was waiting for my order. God bless you.“

“I only selected 3 stars for the food because sodas needed a little more flavor and less carbonation. Now the reason for five stars. Rachel in the drive-through was amazing! Perhaps the most friendly drive-through experience I’ve ever had at any McDonald’s! And when McDonald’s has these awesome collectible toys you do a lot of drive-through experiences. Truthfully, if corporate had any sense, they would acknowledge Rachel in my opinion and give her some sort of promotion or raise. She truly deserves it! She would definitely be a good role model for how a drive-through experience should go because let’s be honest all the other McDonald’s around the area have sucked lately! Corporate if you are reading this do the right thing and acknowledge Rachel. Not just the amazing manager Jazmin of that location, but the actual corporate McDonald’s! PS, Jazmin was really friendly too! Great job training her girl!“

“Google listed this location as open 24 hours, but we discovered they actually closed at midnight while we were ordering at 11:55 after leaving the airport. The staff was very pleasant about assisting us, even though we came through with a van full of hungry teenagers. Everyone was super friendly and double checked to make sure all of the items we order were taken care of. It would have been understandable if they had expressed frustration or even turned us away given the timing, but everyone was friendly and accommodating. Very much appreciated.“

“Best experience at a McDonalds in years. What made it great? 1. Great customer service- the ladies were patient, answered all my questions. I ordered just drinks a first, then decided to get food 5 minutes later- no were gracious and the order came out swiftly. 2. Location was clean inside and outside. 3. Easy to enter and exit parking lot. No weird non-sense going on outside. I felt safe at this location. 4. The value menu is back!!!“

“I went at 12:30 in the morning after being sick for 4 long days of going without eating and the sweet young man at the first window was so kind to me and didn't rush me thru the drive-thru even tho they were extremely busy and the wonderful woman at the last window allowed me to get one buy one free of the double cheeseburgers and all I had to do is a survey from the receipt, which I didn't take 😞 So I'm writing this review to say thank you to them for having kind hearts and being patient with me at the drive-thru. Your kindness didn't go unrecognized!“

“Food is not bad, but the service was terrible. I waited at the drive-thru for about 3–4 minutes while the employee was busy with something and wouldn’t talk to me. Then she finally asked for my code. I said it twice and even tried spelling it out, but we still couldn’t understand each other. Eventually I just drove away without my burger 😂 I guess that was my sign to stop eating McDonald’s. Thank you, message received.“

“We ordered last sunday at midnight after a long day where time got away from us. Most places were closed and we forgot to get dinner. Not expecting much, we were blown away how awesome the whole experience was. Food was hot, fresh, and ready quickly. The staff was also really nice and in a good mood. I would have thought it was middle of the day. You guys did great and I hope management knows.“

Lets say this worker whos name is Alex, elevated my McDoanlds experience to another echelon. Truly. He made the experience magnificent and trancendant of mankind and up into a higher spiritual level. “Recently discovered that they open at 6am for dine-in customers, but I had to call for that information. Figured i would share that here if anyone wanted to know. Not bad overall experience. Might be good if you guys posted more than just drive thru hours though.“

“the bread always taste like it come out of the freezer except for the rolls for the fish for some reason. and then they decide for no reason at all that your app is fraudulent and close it down with no warning and cant tell you the reason. amd the wait times are ridiculous. and dont get me started on the double lane. thats another joke.“

“Nothing special, same as the million or so other McDonald's across the US. But I was really impressed with the attitude of the staff. I came in wearing my work jacket and used the kiosk to place my order. I was getting breakfast sandwiches for my work crew so I think I ordered like 12 sandwiches 8 hashbrowns and a handfull of coffees. The lady who called my number was really nice and professional. I came up to the counter and all the food was on a big tray. She read my receipt out loud, showed me everything was there as ordered, and quickly got it packed into a big bag with handles. I appreciate that she took the extra minute to make sure everything was there and show me that everything I ordered was going into the bag so I wouldn't have to come back or worry about anything missing.“

Specifically, at this location, I experienced a situation where multiple employees bypassed me while I was waiting at the front counter to request napkins, which are not available for customer self-service. It appears that the introduction of ordering screens in the lobby may have led to a reduction in attention to the front counter. The manager eventually inquired about my needs, and her demeanor suggested that this is a recurring issue with her staff.“
