“This is one of my new favorite places near me that I tried the other day. They have a menu that is not complicated while still allowing for customization. It seems they also do large orders to bring the whole family & friends. I ordered the Winner Winner Chicken Dinner because of some of the images I saw in other reviews. For one person this is the way to go. The salad tasted better then in the pictures and the chicken was complimented by the side sauce. I went with the Green Goddess sauce. I felt like I could have had a bit more than the 1/4 of chicken but it all worked out since I also got a small order of fries. The fries were well-seasoned and soft almost creamy on the inside and came with two dipping sauces. I think one appeared to be an aioli and the other a brava sauce. To complete the experience I ordered one of their chocolate chip & almond cookies to-go. Delicious! Shoutout to the friendly team that took care of me and their beautiful indoor and outdoor space that is making me want to visit again.“

“We've eaten there before, and the food this time seemed way better. We were thrilled with our choices. Our only complaint was inconsistent service - when we ordered an additional tapas, after the initial ones (which were prompt), it took a long time, as did our dessert order. The restaurant was not especially crowded at that time. All told, we were still quite happy.“

“One of my favorite bars in Portland. Perfect date spot. Beautiful interior and back patio. Great lighting. Good cocktails, I love that they have mini mixed shots for like $7.
For how fresh and delicious most of their menu items are, I was surprised at the burger quality - I’m almost certain it was a frozen patty, which seems so unlike this spot. I could be wrong, it just didn’t taste like what the price point makes it seem you’re getting. That said, everything else I’ve eaten here is fantastic.“

“Came to Parallel for an early dinner before a movie at Hollywood and couldn't have had a better experience. The service was top notch, the food was fantastic, and the half-off happy hour bottle of wine was delicious and a great value! This is a perfect spot for a date night with the light fare, long wine list, creative cocktails, and an elegant cozy interior. It was busy but quiet and we loved the music selection. Can't wait to return to this awesome spot!“

“This hands down is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland OR. It the same quality of other top spots in the US like Nobu , O-Ya , and Morimoto . The location is perfect located in the Pearl district. The chefs are high quality and the fish is extremely fresh. They have a great but simple flavor approach. The service is warm, helpful, and appreciative. I always ask for Joy as she is a true professional and loves providing an exceptional experience on every visit.“

“I had lunch here on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by the food and how sweet the servers were. I got the lunch special Pad See Mao with chicken (medium spice) and a Thai iced tea. The spice level was a bit hot for a medium, but perfect for me. If you like really spicy food, this place will deliver the heat! The tea was perfectly sweetened, creamy and not too strong of a tea flavor. The ladies taking orders and serving food were very kind and polite, greeting people happily and sending guests off with a smile as well. The place was busy during lunch but they are efficient in cleaning tables and getting people sat and served. The only thing that would make the atmosphere better would be better music :) (totally a personal issue tho!!) Although there is lots of Thai food to choose from in Portland, I’d recommend this spot in the Pearl District for lunch 😋“

“Everything it has a cozy feeling. I love the decor. Also our waiter was very nice and friendly. I don’t live in Portland, but when I visit again I will definitely come back. My dinner was delicious. My daughter who lives in Portland suggested this restaurant.“

“This was the first visit, but there will be many, many more! We showed up and were told there’d be about a 10 min wait - which was fine! About 30 seconds later though, we had a seat and were looking at the menus! Service was excellent and kind. The food was so, so good! The portions were more than generous and the coffee was good! Can’t wait for our next visit!“

“Sunrice is inside of Roxy hotel. Pleasant ambiance of the lobby tucked behind the hotel front desk for hotel guests and food court eaters.
Excellent Philippine food. Reasonable prices. The cook and helper Kent and Jason were very nice and greeted everyone with friendly smile.“

“This place was so cool. I got the burger, which was good but probably not the best burger I’ve ever had. The fries were pretty nice actually and seasoned with a lot of pepper. However the rest of their menu looks great and I want to come back and try more items. The bartenders were super friendly and more than willing to make alterations to drinks and provide recommendations. But the vibe is immaculate. It’s what Sugar Hill wants to be.“

“It has been a couple of years since i have been to Andina and the food was as amazing as I remembered..maybe even better! A different menu of course but the same great flavors and creativity. Highly highly recommend. My only "disappointment" was they took off the menu my very favorite dessert which was the passionfruit cannoli :)“

The customer service was impressive, and the food was particularly noteworthy for its excellent flavor. Additionally, the ambiance created a pleasant atmosphere, and our server (George) provided outstanding service throughout the visit.“

“So happy to have finally had a chance to stop by since Adelleda's opening! Menu changes seasonally and got to order off the winter menu. The drink menu, while pricey, has so many great options, including mocktails. Ordered Honeynut Squash Fritters, Parisian Gnocchi, and the Frosty no proof. Everything was good. The fritters were crunchy on the outside while being soft inside. The gnocchi was pretty filling and had a unique flavor that I enjoyed. The drink was delicious! They were out of tiramisu, sadly, so no dessert for me that night. Pretty good amount of seating and able to accommodate some larger parties. There is a cool lounge area with a wall of vinyl and some purchasable prepackaged foods. The interior is pretty open and can get a bit echoey at times, though. Overall, great experience and looking forward to coming back.“

“My husband and I have named this our favorite restaurant! We eat very vegetable forward, and there is no better place in Portland to find a diverse amount of simple, creative vegetable dishes that are quality ingredient forward. The seafood is also wonderful and so is the brunch. Everything is seasonal, and the menu changes daily with a few mainstays. The by-the-glass wine list is the most expansive you'll find in the city. On top of all this, the atmosphere is cozy and comfortable, and the service is just wonderful!!!! The prices are great, however our wallet hurts from eating here way too much. We'd probably just live here if we could.“

“Delicious wine and tapas and specials. They serve sangria too. One of our favorite spots in Portland. Definitely check out this place if you haven’t because you won’t be disappointed.“

“The perfect place for a date night filled with fun and Spanish tapas. We loved the sangria, the Roasted Romanesco cauliflower, and the Steak Banderilla. Our server was wonderful, we’ll definitely be back.“
“Awesome experience (only because of the bartender). Em, the bartender was fantastic. She was so kind and knowledgeable of the drink and food menu. She was also so good that she got us bar patrons to speak to each other as well. I love the atmosphere she created. Shes a grade A employee and I hope you pay her what she deserves! Her personality and love of her job shows so much. I only had one drink and was so impressed with Em. Give that lady a raise and hold on to her!“

“Tall booths and a cozy, dimly lit atmosphere make this spot perfect, especially on a rainy Portland day. The service is great, too. Unfortunately, McMenamins' food quality has declined while prices have risen. I’ll stick to happy hour cider and tots—everything else just isn’t worth it.“
“This is a snazzy bar, located right off the lobby of the Aloft! The colorful LED lighting and pulsing music make it seem like a fun place to grab a drink, and maybe strike up a conversation with folks passing through Portland. Although we are locals who live quite close by, I could see my wife and I coming here to grab a cocktail some evening when the neighborhood dive bars are just not cutting it for us, and we're not feeling up to heading into downtown. Gonna have to come back and check it out sometime soon, but as far as ambiance goes, it looks like a winner!“

“First time walking through rather than past the door of R&R tonight, and what an absolute treat! Small, but well formed bar with a great drinks menu, and super friendly staff. Will check out the food next time (there will most definitely be a next time). The resident(?)/guest(?) DJ was on fire, and we could have so easily spent the rest of our evening enjoying the whole R&R vibe, had we not had dinner plans. A real NW treasure, and the new #1 in our local bar hit list.“

“Went for a late brunch and honestly everything slapped — the steak & eggs had this buttery richness without feeling heavy. Shared a couple of small plates and each one had some fun twist. Busy room, kinda loud, but the energy feels good rather than chaotic.“

“I got airsickness post a long flight, so sick even water was hard for me for a while. This place's Phó Ga (chicken) is literally medicine for the soul, stomach and tastebuds. I cannot recommend them highly enough! p.s. uber eats does 50% off deals sometimes and you can get 2 "orders" (almost 4 meals worth) of phó delivered for under $40 including tip if youre on the vicinity and the quality is unparalleled to places I've been to in NY.“

“We went on Thanksgiving and my expectations were low, given that there aren't many places open and I hadn't been there before. The food was excellent! We appreciated that it was an a la carte menu so my husband had "the best salmon he ever had", my grandchildren split short ribs (also excellent) and my son and I had the thanksgiving plate with great smoked turkey. Highly recommend -- we will certainly return!“

“Food is consistently delicious. Highly recommended. But also want to share that they went above and beyond when we had an issue with Door Dash. Though the lost delivery was 100% not their fault, they still remade the food and made sure it got to my door. This very high level of service is commendable! I am a customer for life now. Thank you Khao San.“

“The poutine was just OK. They need to add pocked 9 ions and pickled jalapenos as standard and allow you to take them off if you don't like them. Also, the best poutine I have had has braised beef or pulled pork or some sort of meat to balance all the flavors.
The beer was very good. I tried their reserve stuff and their bourbon barrel aged beer and they were pretty good - all of them.“

“I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!“
