​We were on a small time crunch, but the staff didn't miss a beat. The gals working were incredibly sweet, welcoming, and fast. They accommodated us perfectly by bringing out both plates and to-go boxes right away so we could enjoy our meal and pack up the rest to leave immediately without waiting around.

​The attention to detail in the food is next-level:
​Crispy Basil Chicken: Absolutely perfect I'm obsessed with the basil. They mentioned the basil is air-fried, which leaves the leaves wonderfully light, crunchy, and not greasy or guilty at all. The flavor was beautifully sweet, mild, and perfectly preserved.

​Tom Kha: You can tell they make this the right way. I asked for no onions, and they accommodated it easily—a sure sign of a scratch kitchen! Because they keep their delicious broth base separate and add the fresh meat and vegetables to order, the mushrooms weren't soggy at all. Everything tasted incredibly fresh!

“This place is SPECTACULAR! Food is so creative, so unique. This place combines my two favorite things - Asian cuisine and pizza. Cannot recommend this spot enough. We’ll def be back.

Only callout is that this place does the “Trader Joes during Covid” approach where you have to line up outside and they let you in one by one. This is likely because of their popularity and small space, so be prepared and get there before they open.

I think next steps for Hapa Pizza should
Be to expend to a bigger space. They definitely have the demand for it. This space rocks.“

The menu had so many things that sounded amazing, my husband and I spent 30 minutes trying to decide what to try first. We ended up ordering: MIANG KHAM PAD KHE MAO YUM NUA MEKHONG CUBA LIBRE EVERYTHING was authentic, fresh and flavorful and the staff even called me during their rush to ensure that we had all of our items. The man on the phone had to deal with me laughing and wheezing because I could not remember my husband’s order, even though he’d just told me. I handed the phone to my husband, who was laughing just as hard, so he couldn’t take over completing the order. We were both silently losing it, and I could not pull myself together enough to order food.

The man on the other end was extremely patient and eventually started laughing with us, which honestly did not help 😂 but he kindly encouraged me to continue.

I am so sorry. I couldn’t help it. The laugh bug got us and we could not stop. Thank you for your patience while we completely fell apart trying to order our food.“

“I’m so impressed by this place. Not only have I been raving about how good their food is for awhile (best Thai I’ve had since moving to Oregon) but they are excellent at customer service. I had a small problem with my order and for the inconvenience they gave me a free Thai tea, I didn’t have cash to tip but will definitely be tipping double next time! Great place, highly recommend.“

“I love getting sweet sticky rice from here! The staff are super polite and helpful, each time I have been here it’s been great, the food is excellent, (I personally LOVE the shrimp fried rice) The staff are also very understanding about things, If you find something wrong with your order they will fix it right away. I absolutely recommend getting food and desserts from here their sweet sticky rice does not disappoint! It is a must get every time I order. :)“

“This place blew me away. We have amazing Thai food in pdx, and I happen to love northern Thai dishes ie khao soi. This has to be second only to lotus of Siam in Vegas, the queen of American Thai. I had a better experience here though just because I had no idea it eas going to be that good. Always busy but had no complaints on service, every dish delivered, loved ambience, can’t think of any complaints other than I have to drive 4 hours to go back. If you’re in bend and you like Thai food you it’s a no brainer, this place slaps and Deedee as every accolade and good review. Saw someone say cab find Thai like this in New York as if that’s not a compliment. Your in bend honey, look around you m. Not to hate but to nyc is a good Mecca, bends a a long jump off in the back of Oregon. It’s a smaller city out in the back of Oregon. If they have nyc level food that’s not an insult. Still disagree. N Thai food has influences from the neighboring countries and just hits a little different and this guy is a maestro. If you go, try it all, can’t really go wrong. Deserves 10 stars out of 5“

“Place is fairly good for teriyaki. We only get food for dine in so I don't know what the take out is like. Pricing is good for the portions and food is always tasty. The only thing about this place is the video poker that is in the other room. The machines can be a little loud but otherwise it's not a huge deal“

“I’ve ordered delivery from Thai Bloom before and really love their food, but I’ve never dined at the restaurant. A couple of friends and I met up for happy hour. It was our first time meeting there. We were originally seated on the restaurant side and when we asked about the happy hour menu we were moved to the bar area. There were no tables available but we were told we could sit at the bar until a table became available. A table freed up, so we moved to it. No sooner did we sit down when a woman (the bar hostess?) approached us and said we couldn’t sit there that it was for another group. We explained that we were told to wait at the bar for a table to free up, and she said we needed to tell her. We didn’t know about her, so why would we tell her? Even the bartender didn’t know we needed to go through her to sit at a table. It just felt to me like nobody knew what the procedures were except this one woman. She was rude and I will think twice about going there again. On a positive note, all other staff we interacted with were very polite and friendly and the food was wonderful. They have a really good happy hour menu at really good prices.“
