“There is a nice selection of tasty wines that will not break the bank, and the wine club is off the hook! The tasting room is bright and welcoming, as is the tasting room team. It’s worth the trip any Friday, Saturday or Sunday.“
“Great staff and quality wines plus one of the best views of all of the mountain peaks in the state.“
“Mary and Brandon were amazing! Wine was fantastic and the views were spectacular!“
“We absolutely loved our experience here! The Ponzi team is extremely knowledgeable and personable, and we felt so welcomed! The wines were fantastic, as were the food offerings. Would highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great experience, amazing wines and incredible views!“
“After being at an unbelievable hidden gem, pulling up to this one made us question whether we should stay. We arrived at a vast property and feared that we were at a big commercial winery, the last thing we wanted to cap off our trip! I almost chose to only have a glass of wine rather than a flight because I had a feeling that it was nothing special. Usually my gut is right, but as I spoke to Jessica, without any pressure at all, I felt like I needed to do a tasting and I'm sooo glad that I did! Wow wow wow! Never judge a book by its cover! While a very impressive winery, they surprisingly don't do any distribution meaning you can only buy the wine there or through their website. This is a phenomenal spot. A must! And oh my goodness the view is like no other! If you're heading back towards Portland, this is the perfect last spot to schedule on your way out. You'll be sure to end your trip on a high note! Oh, and they also have spectacular food!!! This was a spot where I surprisingly loved one of these stainless steel chardonnays!“
“Amazing small “boutique” winery highly recommend delicious wine. David is awesome very knowledgeable and down to earth awesome view awesome wine!!!!“
“Vanessa deserves a raise and promotion. We went for our 5 year anniversary, and she made the whole experience feel special. The Blizzard building has a great design and the fact that there is a local champagne club is so special. We will definitely spread the word and be back soon, hopefully to meet ginger :)“
“We’ve been members since 2020 and have never been disappointed by the wine or the service we receive from Rex Hill. You can’t beat the pinot noir wines that come out of here.
Our most recent visit, we took advantage of their picnic area and had lunch before heading in to have a tasting flight. Joan treated us like old friends and gave us her insight on the wines we were drinking.“
“This peaceful winery offers an exceptional experience for visitors. The tastings and bottles are priced very reasonably, making it accessible to all. You can savor your selections in the lovely outdoor seating area provided. It's an ideal setting to relax and enjoy the beautiful scenery. Overall, this winery is a delightful destination for wine enthusiasts and casual visitors alike.“
“We took a day trip to visit the winery during a girls trip to Portland and it was one of the highlights of our whole trip! We were 5 ladies in our 40s and we had the pleasure of Sara being our guide for the tasting and she did not disappoint! We sat on the patio and the views and weather were both divine! Sara served us yummy wine and explained all the terminology and history and absolutely made our time there so fun! We cannot recommend this place enough! One of our friends does not drink and enjoyed the fresh juice flight! Great time! Thank you Sara for the wine and the laughs!“
“Was unsure what to expect but this experience could not have been better. I took my 85 year old mother to a tasting. She absolutely loved it! They made her feel welcomed, were so very patient, and explained their offerings, and shared stories. It was a wonderful smaller more intimate experience not a rush you through hard sell crowded one like the larger vineyards. Best if all the wines were AMAZING! An organic vineyard with grapes grown with love and care and you can taste it in the final product. Again could not recommend this place more for a peaceful, relaxed, beautiful setting. You can bring your own food to pair with the offerings, plus you can shop for some wonderful pottery pieces by local artists to take home.“
“I have gone a couple times now. My friend and I attended Bingo night and it was so fun! It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. I highly recommend this spot and looking forward to checking out some of their other event nights.“
“The wine tasting was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely! Sarah was super knowledgeable and even gave us a “wine tasting 101” session when we shared it was our first time doing a wine tasting. They’re also open to walk-ins for the tasting if you call ahead!“
“Went wine tasting today and the staff was so helpful, knowledgeable, and kind. The wine selection was great. Will definitely be returning.“
“Love acidity!!!! Simply the best wine!!!“
“Fabulous wines and incredible tasting venue. Such a lovely place to relax and drink wine! One of the loveliest hidden gems I’ve discovered here!“
“Cliff Creek has some of the best big reds you’ll find in the Portland area. We frequently visit to enjoy the wonderful hospitality offered by Kai and Sahara. The knowledge they share about wine is expansive and educational, and they’re the friendliness human beings you’ll ever meet - bonus! Looking for gorgeous wines? Visit Cliff Creek in downtown Newburg- you won’t be disappointed!!“
“We visited Archer several years ago. Their wine is some of the best!! I placed an order in November 2024 but hadn’t received any replies or my order. Phone calls were not answered. Finally today 8 Jan 2025 I made contact with Trevor. Ownership has recently changed hands. He is backlogged but getting the orders slowly out!!! I’ll be looking forward to seeing my bottles arrive!!!“
“Wow! What an incredible experience. We were hosted by Todd, the owner and winemaker. We were the only guests there (which is too bad because this place is great) which made it feel like a private tasting. The tasting fee is a reasonable $15 and we were given a complimentary cheese plate. The wines are all at great price points. Collectively, our party bought almost a case of wine. Don't let the industrial building fool you, this is a great find. Love the small winery vibe where you can talk to the people who actually make the wine, not just the tasting room staff. Can not recommend this winery enough. We will be back!“
“Dropped for a "quick" tasting when we were looking a home in the area. Now we really want to buy a home in Aurora! Friendly folks and excellent wine. Love all the history too. Looking forward to returning with friends to relax with food and wine on the patio.“
“A to Z Wineworks is commerce with a conscience and we are so glad! The Eco-School Network is excited to have A to Z’s support this year! Not only did they made a generous monetary donation but they are also our official wine sponsor for our Party with a Purpose series! They are committed to leaving a place better than they found it, through ecosystem stewardship, attention to detail, through research, and innovative technology. We embrace A to Z Wineworks core environmental statement and look forward to more collaboration.“
“Rain Dance Vineyards delivered one of the most memorable tastings we’ve ever had. Katie was so welcoming and knowledgeable—it felt like visiting family by the end. Matt, the GM, even came out to share stories about their locally sourced charcuterie board, which was delicious. My husband, who never eats olives, was shocked to find himself enjoying three of them thanks to their thoughtful pairings!
The wines were fantastic, the atmosphere warm and genuine, and the handmade Christmas bell ornament we purchased was such a special keepsake. The only thing that could have topped it off would have been smooches from the adorable llamas. Tremendous job, Rain Dance team—thank you for going above and beyond. We look forward to enjoying every bottle we brought home!“
“Great wines from a local Oregon winery. Excellent prices and knowledgeable wine guy (Dan) thanks, we’ll be back“
“This hidden gem in the Willamette Valley is well worth a stop. Tom is great, very knowledgeable about his wines, and truly loves what he does. I really appreciated his comments on what food each wine would pair with. If you appreciate the wine in the bottle more than the price tag on the outside, you will find some lovely selections here. We will be back!“
“A true family winery, that has award winning wines and cozy tasting room, is a surprising fine.“
