“There is a nice selection of tasty wines that will not break the bank, and the wine club is off the hook! The tasting room is bright and welcoming, as is the tasting room team. It’s worth the trip any Friday, Saturday or Sunday.“
“Great staff and quality wines plus one of the best views of all of the mountain peaks in the state.“
“Mary and Brandon were amazing! Wine was fantastic and the views were spectacular!“
“Elliot was a wonderful host! We learned so much about the history of the Ponzi winery and the wine making process. The wines were delicious and the charcuterie board was perfect! The setting is spectacular too! A lovely way to spend an afternoon in Oregon wine country.“
“After being at an unbelievable hidden gem, pulling up to this one made us question whether we should stay. We arrived at a vast property and feared that we were at a big commercial winery, the last thing we wanted to cap off our trip! I almost chose to only have a glass of wine rather than a flight because I had a feeling that it was nothing special. Usually my gut is right, but as I spoke to Jessica, without any pressure at all, I felt like I needed to do a tasting and I'm sooo glad that I did! Wow wow wow! Never judge a book by its cover! While a very impressive winery, they surprisingly don't do any distribution meaning you can only buy the wine there or through their website. This is a phenomenal spot. A must! And oh my goodness the view is like no other! If you're heading back towards Portland, this is the perfect last spot to schedule on your way out. You'll be sure to end your trip on a high note! Oh, and they also have spectacular food!!! This was a spot where I surprisingly loved one of these stainless steel chardonnays!“
“Amazing small “boutique” winery highly recommend delicious wine. David is awesome very knowledgeable and down to earth awesome view awesome wine!!!!“
“Despite my years in France—living in the Bordeaux region, roaming Burgundy and Champagne—I’m always drawn back to Potter’s Vineyard for the bold, the rich, the beautiful new French Oak, and above all, their one-of-a-kind Reserve Cabernet Sauvignon. Bill and Sandy are true masters of their craft.

“A real hidden gem. I've been going for 5 years and have never had a bad wine. They all range from good to excellent and very reasonably priced for the quality. Their events are my favorite, especially the rose launch party and twilight concerts in the summer.“
“This winery has an INCREDIBLE view! The sommelier was incredibly kind and outgoing and made us feel right at home. I love that this winery is named after the falcons and raptors in the area. Got to see a beautiful red tailed hawk from our table! Highly recommended!“
“I had a lovely wine-tasting here for my bday, which Michelle (our server) and Ginger (fluffy friend) helped make this a special and unique experience! I loved the additional champagne tasting in addition to their wine tasting. The education provided by the server and the written information were very insightful. I loved the French influence and creation of the wines, and I tried red cuvée for the first time, which was lovely! I was a big fan of their spin on malbec.“
“Excellent weather to go to a winery. There are hundreds of vineyards around Oregon, and I try to take the time to check some of them out when possible. This year however we’ve made it more of a priority. This one is right close to our home (about 15 minutes away). One of my all time favorite wines is the Toasted Cow White Blend from Oak Knoll. Sweet but not too sweet and light and refreshing, perfect for a Summer’s day. Highly recommend.“
“Wonderful setting, delightful and friendly staff Quality wine. Really enjoyed the Special Salmon Bake.“
“I have gone a couple times now. My friend and I attended Bingo night and it was so fun! It is a beautiful space and recently enjoyed the covered patio with 2 other moms with our young babies in their strollers and felt very comfortable and relaxed. I really enjoyed the Stoller 2022 Pinot Noir and my friend had the Chehalem Valley Chardonnay. They have a refreshing cocktail menu and I liked the Lavender Lemon Drop. The pork belly BLT was delicious!!! My favorite sandwich right now. They have a veggie sandwich as well that is loaded. Everyone in the group loved the cookies. I highly recommend this spot and looking forward to checking out some of their other event nights.“
“Dropped for a "quick" tasting when we were looking a home in the area. Now we really want to buy a home in Aurora! Friendly folks and excellent wine. Love all the history too. Looking forward to returning with friends to relax with food and wine on the patio.“
“The wine tasting was excellent and the atmosphere was lovely! Sarah was super knowledgeable and even gave us a “wine tasting 101” session when we shared it was our first time doing a wine tasting. They’re also open to walk-ins for the tasting if you call ahead!“
“This is a charming little Winery with an absolutely stunning view!! The wines were fantastic. They had a relaxing seating area with a delightful musician playing at the time. It was cozy, uncomfortable, and a great place to catch up with my girlfriends.“
“Fabulous wines and incredible tasting venue. Such a lovely place to relax and drink wine! One of the loveliest hidden gems I’ve discovered here!“
“This is a wonderful winery with a very welcoming atmosphere. Every wine included in the tasting was excellent, and the charcuterie board was generous, beautifully varied, and delicious. As a special bonus, we enjoyed seeing llamas strolling near the winery and truly appreciated the owners giving us the opportunity to feed them—it was such a unique and memorable experience.
We are also very grateful to the lovely and friendly staff member who guided us through the wine tasting and shared insights about each wine. Her warmth and knowledge made the visit even more enjoyable.“
“The Eco-School Network is deeply grateful for our partnership with A to Z Wineworks. They’ve consistently shown up for us—not just with delicious wine for our fundraising events (always a crowd favorite!), but with genuine commitment to sustainability and community.
At first, connecting wine with school-based sustainability might seem like a stretch, but A to Z proves otherwise. They walk the talk: their wine is produced sustainably, and their support directly funds student-led sustainability projects in schools.
Their sponsorship helps young people become hands-on problem solvers, and we’re so thankful for their belief in our mission. Cheers to A to Z for making a difference—beautifully and responsibly.“
“Love acidity!!!! Simply the best wine!!!“
“Red Red, Pink Pink & White White is all you need to know about Cliff Creek best wine for a reasonable price. 19.99 before club prices. On the other side Claret is fantastic big big bold red. How have i never reviewed been here a dozen times!“
“This was such a great and relaxing experience. Great wines at really reasonable price points and some older vintages that should have been a library collection but were poured standard instead! An incredible collection of vinyl records that could be requested to play and enhance your vibe. Side note: one of the bottles I took home had a cork failure and not only was it replaced, the owner opened a bottle not on the tasting menu to share. Highly recommended stop during your visit to wine country. Cheers“
“Great wines from a local Oregon winery. Excellent prices and knowledgeable wine guy (Dan) thanks, we’ll be back“
“This hidden gem in the Willamette Valley is well worth a stop. Tom is great, very knowledgeable about his wines, and truly loves what he does. I really appreciated his comments on what food each wine would pair with. If you appreciate the wine in the bottle more than the price tag on the outside, you will find some lovely selections here. We will be back!“
“A true family winery, that has award winning wines and cozy tasting room, is a surprising fine.“
