“I've always driven by wondering, but finally stopped in. I heard a good review from a friend and my visit didn't let me down. It's a clean, rustic atmosphere, nothing too fancy, but quite organic and appropriate for the location and price. Clean. Loved the yellow curry with chicken. Staff was courteous and attentive. This is a nice little gem tucked into the roots of south Medford.“

What a fun little place lots of character.
Even though there is a smallish menu, everything looks inviting it was hard to choose. I did finally settle on chicken pot pie. A classic that I love that is a rare item on menus nowadays. My wife picked one of the Benedicts. Staff was very friendly and helpful with suggestions. We really enjoyed our meals and our time. Very cute place to have a good fun meal.“

The dining-in options are very limited (I think there are only 4 or 6 tables to sit at?), but don't let that stop you from calling and ordering some take-out! Side note: call ahead as much as you can in the evening on a weekend. My guy stopped in once (without calling first) for take out and had to wait 40 minutes, but the fact that he was willing to do so should tell you something...
Anyways, my favorite Thai dish is green curry, but everything I've tried here is good. Give it a try!“

They were very accommodating for us, and the wines were great. The whites impressed and the reds were all a restrained and had lighter extraction than most of their peers we tried in Ashland.

We had made reservations in March for our 7 party tasting in August at 11am, and between booking and arriving they changed their hours to opening at noon. I got the text reminder for our 11am appointment, but they didnt have us in their system. Despite that, the owner opened up and poured for us. Great customer service after a miscommunication, that's how you do it! Would recommend a visit.“

The person who was running the store at the time let me know that I could come in and get the roll I originally paid for, so I went back and I of course got another roll with it just to make sure they got their money and everyone was so nice!! We went there for my birthday dinner (myself and my parents), at 5:00pm on a Friday, because my folks are both seniors. There were only two other tables seated, but it was SO loud. The waitress tried to seat us right by the door, immediately across from the counter. But we politely asked for a table against the back wall, so we could hear each other (my mom uses hearing aids). And then the attitude started. Like we asked her to build us a table.

Once agreeing to our request to simply walk 15 feet, she gave us about 90 seconds to look at the menu, but was offended by my mother's request for more time, but couldn't be bothered with a drink order. Then, after repeated attempts to flag her down and being ignored, she finally came back. No explanation of which item came with rice or not, or ??? Never a single smile or anything like a welcoming gesture. Ever.

Finally, after ordering and receiving our food. I have to admit - I expected so much more. I could excuse the sourpuss (even downright rude) waitress, if the food was glorious. But, the pad thai noodles were sort of all glued together in a clump. My peanut sauce had a separated oil in it. However, my mom's cashew nut stir fry was the star of the show. My dad ended up eating half of that.

Overall, I was hoping to give the rave that so many others were posting, here. But, I'm giving them a generous 4 stars, based on my perfectly fried chicken and my mother's great dish. DEFINITELY NOT THE WAITRESS.
