“What a great place for boba drinks. It is located in a newly developed area. All drinks appear to come with many slices of lime wedges. If you are a lime lover, this place is for you.

We had a custom drink with Thai green tea, lychee flavor and jellies. The other drink was from a pre-made menu. Both drinks are quite sweet but they were just right if you let the ice melt a little.“

“We come to Boba Cat Tea House pretty often since it’s close to where we live, and it’s become one of our go-to spots for boba.

I usually get matcha, which has really good flavor. Last time I tried it with strawberry compote added, and it was super yummy. My partner usually gets tea with lychee and really enjoys it as well. When we get boba, the pearls are consistently just right. Soft, chewy, and flavorful. The brown sugar milk tea is especially delicious.

I typically order 50% sweetness, which is perfect for me, while my partner prefers 100%, and both options work well depending on taste.

The shop itself is very cute inside and a great place to hang out, though we often grab and go since it’s so convenient for us.

“I love this place! They also have another location in Beaverton that I enjoy, but this one feels more spacious and has a cuter vibe. The shop is comfortable, inviting, and a great spot to grab a drink.
I still have so many drinks on the menu to try, but I always end up ordering my favorite the strawberry matcha with brown sugar boba. It's delicious every time. I also love that you can customize the sweetness level to your preference or just leave it at the standard setting.
The service is always wonderful, and the barista who helped me was the sweetest! Friendly service and great drinks keep me coming back.

“It's been getting really cold here in Beaverton and I decided to try pho for the first time. I tried the combo beef pho here was amazing! I have some allergies with MSG, so here in BEP there is no MSG in the food. My experience there was really good. With great employees and great service, I could tell that there were intention and care put into this place. Will be coming back soon.“

Since the tea shop is based from Taiwan, their selection differs from that of the traditional Japanese tea shop menus. Here you will find not only black tea and milk options, but also Oolong, lemon tart, sparkling citrus, thick milk and more! They often have samples in shop, which by the way visually is a beautiful eco-modern interior with a frutiger aero almost aesthetic.
They use their own patented ‘tea espresso press’ which basically flash brews loose leaf tea like an espresso machine would. The taste is incomparable to most tea shops because they are incredibly high quality and flavorful! Any person who appreciates real attention to detail in brewed teas will likely notice and appreciate it. The drinks are also very customizable and come in cute little cardboard cuppies that have handles to carry your drink!
Definitely worthy of high praise as one of the best tea shop chains I’ve had the pleasure of visiting. 💕“

I’ve tried matcha lattes at various spots around Portland and no one makes them as good as Olia Poke! Their matcha is not too sweet and the bright, fresh green flavor of the tea is the star. So many places the matcha flavor is absent (green milk) or it’s way too sweet. Olia strikes that balance perfectly. Love the staff too, they are so friendly!“

“I was walking over to it after work and nearly missed it but I’m glad I didn’t. Now I can’t really comment on their Sichuan food as I didn’t order it but their Mongolian beef was really tender. It was in my opinion perfectly cooked and so were the onions it was cooked with. The sauce wasn’t too thick or thin, it was really well balanced with a subtle sweetness and the right amount of spice. The cucumber salad was super fresh and not mushy at all. Had I gone with a friend this would have been a really affordable although by yourself the lunch special is much cheaper. Still I had a lovely time and enjoyed the music they were playing. Staff was lovely, and I’ll be coming back.“

“The regular black sugar boba w/ pearl milk is my go-to and you really can’t go wrong with any of the other options. The sweetness level was just right and not overly sweet. I love that you can customize the amount of ice. Some places give you way more ice than drink, but here it felt balanced. They were generous with the boba too, which is always a win. Overall, a really satisfying stop if you’re craving milk tea!“
