“What a great place for boba drinks. It is located in a newly developed area. All drinks appear to come with many slices of lime wedges. If you are a lime lover, this place is for you.

We had a custom drink with Thai green tea, lychee flavor and jellies. The other drink was from a pre-made menu. Both drinks are quite sweet but they were just right if you let the ice melt a little.“

“We've tried most of the bubble tea shops in the Portland area, and this is the one we keep coming back to, even though we live 30 minutes away! Friendly staff, enough variety in drinks while still keeping quality and distinctive flavors for each, and great atmosphere. If you love the taste of tea and real milk, they use high quality ingredients with adjustments for sweetness and ice levels. AND their rice balls offer a great savory balance to accompany as a snack or meal. The flights of drinks or rice balls are really fun to share. And did I mention the bobaristas are great? It's just our favorite tea cafe. See you there!“

“Chin Cha noodle house and bubble tea is phenomenal I do not know how they don’t have a line out the door. The quality of their food is unbelievable fresh, authentic, and healthy. Their bubble tea is also some of the best I’ve ever had. Their tea is fresh and high quality. Their Matcha is also fantastic I’ve had so many matches at tea shops that have a fishy taste. This is such a quality spot for great food and fun. They have card games and jenga to play while you wait. We live in Vancouver, Wa. And will always stop in here when we are passing through. “We come to Boba Cat Tea House pretty often since it’s close to where we live, and it’s become one of our go-to spots for boba.

I usually get matcha, which has really good flavor. Last time I tried it with strawberry compote added, and it was super yummy. My partner usually gets tea with lychee and really enjoys it as well. When we get boba, the pearls are consistently just right. Soft, chewy, and flavorful. The brown sugar milk tea is especially delicious.

I typically order 50% sweetness, which is perfect for me, while my partner prefers 100%, and both options work well depending on taste.

The shop itself is very cute inside and a great place to hang out, though we often grab and go since it’s so convenient for us.

While their menu might be a little less familiar to folks used to drinking Boba, I highly encourage getting a sample and trying something new. I love the soymilk slushy with boba or jelly. Their boba is always fresh, and If you’ve never had fresh soy milk, you are missing out. It’s nothing like what you get at the supermarket. Their puddings are amazing. The pandan custard with coconut cream is 10/10. Adorable ambience and always friendly service!“

“I love this place! They also have another location in Beaverton that I enjoy, but this one feels more spacious and has a cuter vibe. The shop is comfortable, inviting, and a great spot to grab a drink.
I still have so many drinks on the menu to try, but I always end up ordering my favorite the strawberry matcha with brown sugar boba. It's delicious every time. I also love that you can customize the sweetness level to your preference or just leave it at the standard setting.
The service is always wonderful, and the barista who helped me was the sweetest! Friendly service and great drinks keep me coming back.

“Great matcha in a cute neighborhood in SE Portland. Alternative milks available for those with dairy issues. We went specifically for the Peanuts collaboration. For those who can have hazelnuts, it was great! However 3 of us couldn't due to allergies, so we didn't get the specialty cups, etc because we couldn't order off that menu. Madagascar vanilla lattes have great flavor, and the kids love the matcha ice creams.“

I've been to the Chicha in the San Francisco bay area, and my goodness it was awful. Extremely crowded and too sweet.

But this Chicha is the best. Fast service, not too sweet, and my favorite tea place in Oregon.“

“The regular black sugar boba w/ pearl milk is my go-to and you really can’t go wrong with any of the other options. The sweetness level was just right and not overly sweet. I love that you can customize the amount of ice. Some places give you way more ice than drink, but here it felt balanced. They were generous with the boba too, which is always a win. Overall, a really satisfying stop if you’re craving milk tea!“

“My tea was great but it was a bad experience as a person who is hard of hearing.
The employees were very soft spoken.
I misheard a question and instead of repeating themselves to fix the miscommunication, I got a response that made me feel like they didn't want me in there anymore. I also didn't hear when they called my name (if they did? Again, I didn't hear) and allowed my drink to just sit on the counter until I looked up to see it waiting for me. I was the only one in the store at the time.

But on the plus side the Elegant Rose Tea is my new obsession, the perfect drink I needed for a lunch break on a super hot day!“
