“A real gem in the university district! Having been to Hawaii and eaten authentic plate lunch I can assure you the other reviews are incorrect. The restaurant is clean and spacious. The food is prepared well, tastes excellent and is priced very reasonably for the large portions. Something hard to find in the area. Another rarity is the owners take the time to get to know their customers. You can expect to be asked if you want "the usual" if you dine more than a few times. It is refreshing to see hard working small business owners still making it work.“

“Love Fresh Fish Poke! My husband and I have been going to this food cart for a while now and it’s always delicious! The portions are great and the flavor is amazing! We drive out to Beaverton just for it.

I came to get the garlic chicken and the hamburger steak the garlic chicken however was flavored exceptionally the rice was great along with the macaroni salad however the chicken seem like it was kind of old and a reheated it but it seemed like it was okay the hamburger steak was good however I feel like they need to season the actual steak the gravy was flavored exceptionally well especially when you eat it with the rice but yeah 4 out of 5 stars that did a great job“

“Quite simply one of the best meals I've had. My family and I came to Portland for a short vacation and headed here not long after we landed. We ordered way too much food, but it was all insanely good. Excellent value for money as well. The staff who served us were really cool. Definitely check this place out if you don't know it.“

“I happened to end up here for lunch when I was having a particularly bad day. Thanks to the super sweet gal behind the counter and delicious meal, this place really cheered me up! I love the wide array of options and all the fish and veggies I got tasted so good and fresh. The complimentary miso soup was much appreciated as well! The only thing I think could be better is the rice - the white rice I got was pretty dry. A well seasoned sticky sushi rice would make this already great meal perfect.

“A perfect hideaway tiki bar! Looks like nothing from the outside, and then you walk into a themed dreamscape. Fantastic decor and experience that's a throwback to vintage tiki bars. Legit menu for rum enthusiasts, but the snackies were great, too.

Our server (Nathaniel, I think he said) was a proper mixologist who made helpful suggestions and was a joy to chat with and watch as he crafted drinks.

“We had our Company Christmas party at Ohanna Hawaiian Cafe and everyone that worked there was so gracious and helpful. We had a mix of ages and everyone found something to their liking on their menu. The food is fresh, delicious and huge servings. I had the Kahlúa pork with mac salad and white rice. “Wife and I visited our daughter and family in Portland,Oregon and we were happy to see that they had a L&L Drive In nearby in Beaverton. We went early and were the first customer that morning. The Hawaiian combination laulau and kalua pig plate and chicken Katsu plate was excellent, large portions and reasonable prices. Thank you L&L counter girls and cook!

“Just as long as you get thier early and you can find a seat, it's a lot better of an experience. Their food is fantastic! And even if you come later, you can scope out ppl leading tables. It's kinda fun, like going to battle. Their is also an outside smoking area where you can bring drinks.
