“I went to this place for me and my partners anniversary. I have never been and neither had he. The experience was top notch! I came in and the waiter said he was going to change my life and he did just that. I also had a gift card that had a generous balance and I was so impressed with the service and food that I was embarrassed to use it so I paid out of my own pocket. Best tapas in Portland hands down! My partner usually is the one who picks places because I’m bad at it and he was also incredibly impressed with me and my choice to try Urdaneta!“

“Fantastic chicken, possibly the best grilled chicken i’ve had. Extremely juicy and flavorful. Potatoes went very well with the sauces, you can choose two with the familia combo i got, but each additional sauce is 1$ each. Salad was a little bitter, but still went well with the meal. “We just moved into an apartment a few blocks away, and this was our first night staying there. We wanted to try somewhere new with outdoor seating to accommodate our dog and were able to make a reservation and walk over within the hour. The service struck the perfect balance—attentive without being overbearing. We never had to wait for anything, yet we had the space to truly enjoy our night. The food was outstanding. We shared the gyozas, croquettes, and chimichurri steak—each dish offered something unique and memorable. Everything was perfectly paced: quick enough to feel seamless, but spaced just enough to savor each bite and sip of our drinks. Prices were very reasonable for the level of quality and care. The next morning, I realized I had left my purse on the back of my chair. I called around 10:30 a.m. (before they opened) and spoke to someone who I believe was the manager or owner. He was kind, confident in his staff's integrity, and reassuring. He said without hesitation that if it was left behind, it would be safe and untouched. He followed up exactly as promised, confirmed that it had been found, and let me know I could retrieve it that evening. It was a refreshing reminder that there are still places—and people—who care. Not just about the food, but about their community, their patrons, and doing things the right way. Highly recommend this spot for both the exceptional dining and the integrity behind the scenes.“

“First time in Portland and the Hyatt House was an excellent choice of hotel for me.The location by the River was relaxing, as well as, the well maintained pool. Very friendly and helpful staff, this hotel has it all, a nice hot breakfast, a Bar, a pool and is in a great location. Would stay again!“

“This hands down is one of my favorite restaurants in Portland OR. It the same quality of other top spots in the US like Nobu , O-Ya , and Morimoto . The location is perfect located in the Pearl district. The chefs are high quality and the fish is extremely fresh. They have a great but simple flavor approach. The service is warm, helpful, and appreciative. I always ask for Joy as she is a true professional and loves providing an exceptional experience on every visit.“

“Sunrice is inside of Roxy hotel. Pleasant ambiance of the lobby tucked behind the hotel front desk for hotel guests and food court eaters.

Excellent Philippine food. Reasonable prices. The cook and helper Kent and Jason were very nice and greeted everyone with friendly smile.“

“We are so impressed with this restaurant, it’ll be our new Thursday night date night spot!
We enjoyed the ambiance greatly, were delighted by all 8 dishes we got, and loved the service.
My husband ordered the Old Fashioned Cocktail and the Bar Manager came out to introduce himself and tell us more about what makes it so special. He actually works with a local distillery to create the drink and bottle it. It was so good we ordered 2 and then went to the store down the street to buy our own bottle!

The small plates are incredible, and from 5-6 each night you can get a little 2-person sampler of all of them for only $38! Best deal in town! And then if you’re hungry, the steak was cooked PERFECTLY.

“Thank you Firehouse team for making our wedding day go perfectly! We booked out the entire restaurant for the day, so we were able to decorate and get ready starting at 11am. With our 42 guests, we held the ceremony in the patio out front, then had dinner upstairs and the dance party downstairs. The food was incredible and we heard so many compliments about it from our guests. Working with the events manager (Alec) was great with his quick responses, flexibility, suggestions, day-of coordination, and DJ-ing!!“

“I've eaten here several times over the last decade. Andina is always exceptional. Excellent food, service, and atmosphere. There's a broad set of flavors on the menu. The prices are not outlandish. The portions are more European than American (you probably won't have any to take home but you also won't leave hungry).

The albacore in leche de tiger was the best thing. We enjoyed the anticuchos de corazon. The slices of beef over noodles was perfect, and the fresh noodles were the best part of it!“

“This food is wonderful! It does vary a little bit depending on whose cooking in the back but is always good. Their Mac and cheese combos are amazing! I don't eat Mac and Cheese EVER except for here now. It was a happy impulse one lunch time!“

“I got airsickness post a long flight, so sick even water was hard for me for a while. This place's Phó Ga (chicken) is literally medicine for the soul, stomach and tastebuds. I cannot recommend them highly enough! p.s. uber eats does 50% off deals sometimes and you can get 2 "orders" (almost 4 meals worth) of phó delivered for under $40 including tip if youre on the vicinity and the quality is unparalleled to places I've been to in NY.“

“Service was fast, server was very friendly, my husband and I both had a Moscow Mule which was tasty, and a hummus plate which was just your typical hummus plate. Dog friendly, so it was nice to be able to be in the lounge area by the fireplace with our doggos and relax with a drink. It has a business/laid back vibe to it, but low key, which might be just perfect for business travelers. My husband and I live in the area, so we wanted to go check this place out. Amberglen Park right across the street which is a perfect place to go for a walk, or even with your dogs ❤️ We would go back again.“

“We visited Can Font on New Year’s Eve. The restaurant is beautiful inside. The food was authentic Spanish food and offered many options. Everything we ordered was delicious: Paella negra, Patatas bravas, Beet salad, Grilled octopus and delicious desserts such as cheesecake, arroz con leche and chocolate cake. My only suggestion is that they widen their beer selection to include Spanish brands like Estrella de Galicia, Mahou, Ambar (to name a few). Lastly, the service was not as good, maybe because it was a busy night, but I feel they should have foreseen this and planned accordingly. Will definitely return.“

“As a solo diner I’m always happy when there is bar seating as I was able to be seated quickly on a busy night.
Aiden made me a very delicious cocktail, called a wooly muffler, that was so perfectly balanced.

I can definitely recommend the fried gnocchi, lemmon pound cake, blistered green beans and the chicken sandwich. “The poutine was just OK. They need to add pocked 9 ions and pickled jalapenos as standard and allow you to take them off if you don't like them. Also, the best poutine I have had has braised beef or pulled pork or some sort of meat to balance all the flavors.

The beer was very good. I tried their reserve stuff and their bourbon barrel aged beer and they were pretty good - all of them.“
