“Anyone can seemingly make sushi seem better by making it more complex, but the real test is whether they can take the simple and make it excellent. Sushi-Ki-ichi does just that. They stick to the simple offerings, leading to an experience that feels less Americanized than other Japanese restaurants. That's not to say I don't love some level of creativity, but you don't need it here. That's because the family that owns Sushi Ki-ichi wants to create an authentic meal - a notion that was confirmed for sure when we had a conversation with the owner. In fact, they take quality to the next level with their equipment and efforts they take to make sure that what they serve is the highest quality, including specific freezers for the fish. We didn't try Sushi Ki-ichi for the first couple of years because we figured that the previous restaurant, a Chinese buffet that had gone downhill and fallen off the cliff, had rebranded and reopened as something new. Now I feel that for those first couple of years, we missed out. This has quickly become my favorite place in Portland. I look forward to any trips I take across town from Vancouver to Tigard, and make a point to stop in and grab a bite.“

“Pizza Caboose was recommended by some local friends and did not disappoint! We ordered the potato spikes (OMG 🤤) & The Conductor pizza (olive, mushroom & Italian sausage - we added pineapple). “The iconic jbcs I somehow lost its mojo. There's been a high turnover of staff and I think that's caused some serious issues. Service lately has been lackluster and the food has taken a downturn too. It saddens me to see this happen.

“I rate and try Pad Thai across the entire Pacific Northwest, and I can say that this place has a pretty solid Pad Thai. It isn't perfect and by far my favorite, but if you're looking for a good Pad Thai and a large portion size to take home with you, this is a great place to start.

Comes in a large portion size, but maybe slightly less flavor (spice and slight savory) than I would expect. The sauce is quite thin and soaks into the noodles nicely. There is a ting of too much sweet but not overbearing. Very tolerable and the flavors around it balance it very well, but maybe the noodles are a little tougher than I would hope (slightly, might not even be noticible). Overall this Pad Thai is pretty solid and I would rate 7.5-8/10.

Service was really great here, and the servers were extremely attentive to the customers and very polite. This gave me the experience of a Thai restaurant while still making me feel accomdated like a fancy one.

Overall I will give this a 4.5 for Portland standards, but round up to 5 for google.“

The chorizo burrito was not dried out like it has been at other restaurants. I'm so glad I noticed this place because it doesn't stand out much in the mini mall. The restaurant is clean and everyone is really nice! There is plenty of parking available. Also the chips were delicious. They were fresh! “I've been coming to Tapphoria for a few years now. It's a welcoming spot with a great group of people who tend to be here pretty much every time I show up. Solid beer selection at way better prices than the other taphouses around this area. Service is great and it's a good spot to grab a beer or two and watch a game.“

“When you enter the first thing you notice are the plants and real wood paneling. There are tiny cast irons up on the wall. The lighting is designed to look like old style gas lamps. The music is definitely the best part of the ambiance. The music ranges from doowop to soul to vintage rock and roll to San Francisco sound and Motown which is precisely my jam. I ordered a plain burger with mayo and fries. I'm weird like that but Miller's was able to able to accommodate my autism. The service was amazing and I'm not just saying that cause I know the waitress. The food was made quickly. Fries were crunchy on the outside soft on the inside as they should be. My Fanta was topped off when I got just under a third. It's clean. Very clean. I know cause I watched an employee pull every single table out to clean the booths. Very pleased with my visit.“

“I absolutely LOVE Cascadia Restaurant & Bar! It's a must if you're looking for good food, fantastic service, and a warm and friendly atmosphere. We started with drinks. It was difficult to decide because they have a really nice cocktail menu (along with great selections of beers and wines). We went with a Peach Fizz and a Kentucky Honeysuckle. Both were delicious! We got mozzarella sticks for our appetizer which did not disappoint! For our main meals, I got cheese pizza and he got the mushroom ravioli. The pizza was soooo good, crispy crust and the perfect ratio of cheese to sauce. I tried some of the ravioli too and was impressed - creamy sauce and super flavorful! For dessert we got chocolate fondue... and let me tell you, I was in heaven! It tasted like brownie batter and I couldn't get enough. All of our food was fresh and came out quickly. Overall, such a lovely experience. You can tell the staff are upbeat and that they care! I love that there are several vegetarian options on the menu! I left full and happy. We will absolutely be back!“

“My daughter and I tried their corn dogs, she got the original and I got the crispy, I have to say I really enjoyed it. Good beef sausage and mozzarella cheese stacked inside of a hand dipped planko honey batter. Yumm. My daughter said she wasn’t hungry but she sure ate the entire thing. “I saw the negative reviews and was dismayed. BUT when we got there and saw the amount of people who were enjoying themselves. This amount of people would not have been and I was heartened by this. First off the service people. When we asked they were prompt. The sushi filled me up. The variety was astounding. I tried most of their different prepared vegetables dishes. Beef dishes as well. My wife ate her fill of various shellfish and other different kinds of seafood. The little dishes of ice cream was a nice touch for desert. It has a bit of everything for everybody. I highly recommend this restaurant. This is our favorite restaurant. Easy to find. Easy to get to. Lots of parking room.“

“Best Dine-In Biscuits Cafe experience ever! I hadn't been to this location for about 12 years or so because the last time I went the food was just meh. Today we were going to go to Bannings but it was too busy when we got there so we left and went to this Biscuits Cafe instead and we were glad we did. It was an amazing experience from beginning to end. I think our waitress saw us coming from outside because when we got in she was waiting for us by an empty table. We were pleasantly surprised that we didn't have to wait. The food was delicious! I got the cinnamon roll french toast with scrambled eggs and ham steak and my boyfriend got the huevos rancheros (which was highly recommended by our waitress). Both were equally tasty! The service was great! Our waitress (I'm terrible with names...Jean maybe?) was very friendly, helpful and attentive. The sun started glaring off a car outside and into my eyes, I requested the blinds be lowered and they quickly accommodated my request. The kitchen forgot the bacon crumbles on my boyfriend's loaded hash browns (no biggie) and our waitress made sure to remove the charge from our tab and was even kind enough to get me an iced coffee to-go which I very much needed for packing for camping. I wish I remembered our waitresses name cause she really was great! We're so glad we decided to come here because we will definitely be back now!!!“

“When my husband and I learned that a Which Wich was near the Portland Oregon Temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, we knew right away where we intended to eat lunch.
I ordered the Turkey Club Lettuce Wich. I love that the food tastes fresh and can be made according to my specifications. We went at just the right time to grab a table.“

“Have been coming here for almost 15 years. Highly recommend them, there have been occasions where the sushi does stay on a little longer than I’d like, but I’ve never had any problems after eating their food (other than eating too much because it’s so yummy).“
