This family-owned coffee shop is absolutely fantastic. The service is warm, friendly, and personal — they always remember my order, which makes every visit feel that much more special.

I’ve tried their lunch sack, and the sandwich was delicious, but what really shines are their basket sandwiches — fresh, flavorful, and consistently amazing. And don’t even get me started on the mocha — it's quite delicious and one can't find a better price or quality anywhere.

This place has become a regular stop for me, and every visit reaffirms why. Great food, great coffee, and even better people. Highly recommend!”

“The app does not provide enough options when substituting toppings on the banana splits so we can’t use the app. Today was not their finest, Mom ordered marshmallow, Carmel, and hot fudge on her Banana Split, but there is absolutely no hot fudge on her banana split, and she couldn’t taste the marshmallow at all either, the only thing she could taste was the caramel. There’s suppose to be three toppings, and they only gave us one? That is BS!”

“I got the Beach Bum, flavored with chocolate, almond, coconut, and it was soooo good. Hubs got a breve mocha with extra shots and said it was excellent 👌. My boys had the hot chocolate, I tried it and it was silky smooth with the right amount of chocolate. The coffee tastes smooth and not burnt, like some coffee shops offer (cough*Starbucks*cough). The two running the place were warm and friendly, just what I needed right in the AM. Each of their coffees also have cute handwritten little affirmations.”

“Newport on a Tuesday night. We drove to five restaurants before finding Zach’s Bistro. Although He was sold out of almost everything, we were able to get the most amazing dinner ever! Even my five-year-old grandson loved the food. I had the fish cakes, with artichoke and dill. Oh my goodness! It was amazing. My daughter had perfectly cooked salmon dinner. Desert was an awesome chocolate, berry and browned marshmallow. I am so happy we stumbled on this fine dining restaurant on the edge of Nye Beach area in Newport Oregon!”

Pleasant Barkeep. A short list of Rogue beerw on tap. The gem, beyond the view and the solid tavern aspects, are their distilled spirits. All the tastes are under $15, and I light be outing the man, but generous. Lots near cask strength so a little ice water tomdilut may come in handy, and let you tast all there is in the glass.
Whiskey in Amarone Cask for 9 years 4 months is a joy. Too bad we are travelling and don't have space to haul a 750 ml bottle.”
