“I got delivery so can't speak to service... But THIS is what a proper pizza delivery should look and taste like!! For those who remember, this pizza is so much like what Round Table was like back in the 80s (lol, yes, I'm that old), and that pizza was my standard my whole life for a good, toppings-led pizza (and Round Table isn't that anymore).
Quality pizza, fair prices. My go-to now since I moved to Sherwood.

Notes: I took off 1 star for service bcz delivery didn't have cheese/pepper packets on tap to bring with the pizza (bcz you always forget that part, right??), but I'm doing 4 stars for bcz he literally went back and scraped 3 cheese packs out of his car for me.“

“During this Coronavirus shut down of places, I'm home with the kids. Tired, and not feeling like I wanted to cook around lunch time. I went on my App like usual, and ordered delivery with a $100 bill (that's all I had on me). My Pizza Hut in Sherwood was closed, but their App did not tell me that. It was probably 45:minutes until I see our delivery driver park outside the house. First thing he said was that he was really sorry for taking so long, that Sherwood was closed and his Tualatin location was taking Sherwood's orders!! I was amazed! I ordered a bunch so they could give me enough change. I thanked him for coming all this was to deliver to me, and that he did me a solid favor. I'm home alone with our youngest baby, and was starving. You bet he got a $20.00 tip!! Thank you all so much for working twice as hard and taking on twice the work currently. Pizza Heros, and baby approved!!“

“We sat in the bar and bartender was great but definitely needed help. He had every table full and then a big party(20) people waiting for their table getting drinks…I realize it’s hard to find people to work but you really need two people working in the bar. Thankfully we were patient and didn’t mind, but other people wouldn’t have been. Also the host took his time clearing a table for us…. He visited with another gal doing to go orders for 10 min. “What a great experience. Our party of four was there for brunch. I had apple fritters with side of amazing Hungarian sausage with homemade mustard. - exceptionally good! My wife and daughter had baked pancakes with plums, the other with raisins. Very unique, very good as well. One man runs the whole restaurant from kitchen to table. Loved the experience.“

“Finally checked out Mirisata and so happy I did. This was my first time trying Sri Lanka cuisine and I was skeptical as vegan food is not always my favorite. In this case I was blown away by the flavor and feeling of comfort my meal provided. The spices were apparent, but not so much you couldn’t taste the dish. It was filling, but not heavy or greasy. Will definitely come back.“

“Can I do 6 stars? First time we went here. WOW! This place has all 3 categories covered. 1. Top notch service by Tabitha who I think has a Masters degree in "tea". She knows all about ALL of them and there are a bunch of teas here in multiple categories. She really treated us like her family. 2. Top notch food. Oh my God everything on all 3 tiers of the serving tray was so tasty. The Tomato Bisque soup to start things off was definitely the best I've ever had. The teas (we had 2) we're wonderful. A whole pot for each of us. The pomegranate Mimosa was great. I'm pretty sure we'll never go back to OJ for that drink. 3. ATMOSPHERE ! ! ! The mix of Victorian and Steam Punk is so well done you can't help staring at the walls and ceiling and we couldn't stop taking pics (until the food came of course). The obvious time taken to collect and arrange the pieces throughout the venue filling all the nooks and crannies resulted in such a wonderful place to be. The 2 hours flew by. I don't know if we'll ever be back to the Portland area again but if we are Clockwork Rose Tearoom Emporium is #1 on our REPEAT list. Thanks to Tabitha and the Back of the House for one of the most pleasurable and stimulating lunches we have ever had. We cannot recommend them enough. GO! You will be so glad you did.“

“Their morals and practices are a very close replica of what we’re chasing to achieve on our property (homestead/farm), and it’s so wholesome. The people that are hired on to work are super friendly too - we were able to leave with a full wheelbarrow load of partially rotted pumpkins at no cost to take to our own livestock. The visitors were also very helpful as we wrangled the escaped goats that hadn’t been noticed by the owners/workers yet. All around amazing experience! Will be going back as “regularly” as we can as they’re a bit out of the way for us. “I had a memorable dinner at Higgins Restaurant. I ordered their Oregon Mushroom Set Menu, and each dish reflected their respect for local ingredients. The wild mushroom bisque was particularly delicious, with a smooth texture and rich aroma. The waiter was very professional and attentive, explaining the background of each dish. The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a leisurely meal with friends or family.“

“This was a really nice spot. It had a really good layout, a big bay door entry, clean, and a beautiful view of the walking bridge. The service was quick and prompt, and their plating was phenomenal. (FLOWERS ON MY PLATE, AND DRINK?! YESSSSS) The food wasn't as spicy as I was hoping. But they brought over spices to bring it up to my insane level of spice. Additionally, I am incredibly impressed with their exceptional customer service. I was stuck in work and unable to pick up the cake during their regular hours. To my surprise and immense relief, the team( forgot to ask the name)went above and beyond by staying open after hours to accommodate my schedule.

“My son stopped at Bastions this past June 2025 and purchased 2 good sizes of your coffee cake. It was exceptional and so moist. We couldn't put our forks down! We're the ones who purchased a pecan pie from bastions last Christmas and a pumpkin pie last Thanksgiving. Both outstanding! Everything we've tried is excellent including the donuts. “Andina was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Our waitress Jana was superb. Immensely attentive, kind, pleasant, and professional. She helped us with some suggestions. The beet salad and yucca were stellar to start - the green and white sauce was tremendous. I had the rib-eye stir fry with tamari, tomatoes, garlic rice, and my friend had the same but with mushrooms instead of steak. The poached pear dessert was phenomenal. It was a birthday dinner for me, so my friend motioned to Jana (who was aware and got the hint, coming right over to us) - she brought over a scoop of their homemade pear ice cream with matcha along with a candle. “I ate at Verde Cocina en la Perla while at a work conferencein Portland, Oregon. The food was so delicious that I build my entire birthday around eating there! I live in Olympia, Washington. It is over an hour drive but I will keep doing it every few months. I had Arro as my bartender and server both times. He treats you like FAMILY, and this place IS family owned. I even was introduced to the creator of the Horchata French Toast dish. It is so good I cry happy tears thinking about it. Please visit for brunch and order it, you will NOT be sad about it. I don't even use syrup on the French toast, because the Horchata sauce is so so good on its own. The chillequilles are so so good with eggs OR tofu. Arro was awesome in helping us select desserts...the flan is so dang good, and it is #vegan! My wife and I are #vegetarian, but when I went with a coworker, he said that the meat dishes are "fire." I had a drink both times, first was the mango margarita. Tastes fresh and delicious! Had the perfect amount of tequila but tasted like juice...😈 I have also ordered the Paloma. I can't tell which one is my favorite!!! Anyways, do yourself a favor and order. Trust me.“
