“I got delivery so can't speak to service... But THIS is what a proper pizza delivery should look and taste like!! For those who remember, this pizza is so much like what Round Table was like back in the 80s (lol, yes, I'm that old), and that pizza was my standard my whole life for a good, toppings-led pizza (and Round Table isn't that anymore).
Quality pizza, fair prices. My go-to now since I moved to Sherwood.

Notes: I took off 1 star for service bcz delivery didn't have cheese/pepper packets on tap to bring with the pizza (bcz you always forget that part, right??), but I'm doing 4 stars for bcz he literally went back and scraped 3 cheese packs out of his car for me.“

“We sat in the bar and bartender was great but definitely needed help. He had every table full and then a big party(20) people waiting for their table getting drinks…I realize it’s hard to find people to work but you really need two people working in the bar. Thankfully we were patient and didn’t mind, but other people wouldn’t have been. Also the host took his time clearing a table for us…. He visited with another gal doing to go orders for 10 min. “During this Coronavirus shut down of places, I'm home with the kids. Tired, and not feeling like I wanted to cook around lunch time. I went on my App like usual, and ordered delivery with a $100 bill (that's all I had on me). My Pizza Hut in Sherwood was closed, but their App did not tell me that. It was probably 45:minutes until I see our delivery driver park outside the house. First thing he said was that he was really sorry for taking so long, that Sherwood was closed and his Tualatin location was taking Sherwood's orders!! I was amazed! I ordered a bunch so they could give me enough change. I thanked him for coming all this was to deliver to me, and that he did me a solid favor. I'm home alone with our youngest baby, and was starving. You bet he got a $20.00 tip!! Thank you all so much for working twice as hard and taking on twice the work currently. Pizza Heros, and baby approved!!“

“What a gem of a coffee shop!! We are so glad we tucked in for a cup of coffee. The coffee is delicious and the latte art is so cute. The desserts were the perfect sweet treat for a rainy Saturday afternoon. The shop carries so many darling items, many are perfect for cat lovers. We will definitely be back!!“

“This was my first time to tea ever, and we're here for my daughter's 7th birthday we had 12 guests and the waitress Tabitha handled us with no problem! The food was delicious the tea was lovely and we will be coming back every year, or any girly celebration! I was so pleased. We also were alone for the first hour it felt like so it wasn't noisy or chaotic whatsoever. I would give 10 stars!“

“I had lunch here on a business trip and was pleasantly surprised by the food and how sweet the servers were. I got the lunch special Pad See Mao with chicken (medium spice) and a Thai iced tea. The spice level was a bit hot for a medium, but perfect for me. If you like really spicy food, this place will deliver the heat! The tea was perfectly sweetened, creamy and not too strong of a tea flavor. The ladies taking orders and serving food were very kind and polite, greeting people happily and sending guests off with a smile as well. The place was busy during lunch but they are efficient in cleaning tables and getting people sat and served. The only thing that would make the atmosphere better would be better music :) (totally a personal issue tho!!) Although there is lots of Thai food to choose from in Portland, I’d recommend this spot in the Pearl District for lunch 😋“

“Their morals and practices are a very close replica of what we’re chasing to achieve on our property (homestead/farm), and it’s so wholesome. The people that are hired on to work are super friendly too - we were able to leave with a full wheelbarrow load of partially rotted pumpkins at no cost to take to our own livestock. The visitors were also very helpful as we wrangled the escaped goats that hadn’t been noticed by the owners/workers yet. All around amazing experience! Will be going back as “regularly” as we can as they’re a bit out of the way for us. But absolutely worth the drive! *also cannot get enough of these Turkish, gendered-pumpkins that look like giant amanita mushies with legs🥹*“

“I recently ordered a birthday cake from The Hungry Hero Dessert, its look and taste was amazing.
Additionally, I am incredibly impressed with their exceptional customer service. I was stuck in work and unable to pick up the cake during their regular hours. To my surprise and immense relief, the team( forgot to ask the name)went above and beyond by staying open after hours to accommodate my schedule.

“I had a memorable dinner at Higgins Restaurant. I ordered their Oregon Mushroom Set Menu, and each dish reflected their respect for local ingredients. The wild mushroom bisque was particularly delicious, with a smooth texture and rich aroma. The waiter was very professional and attentive, explaining the background of each dish. The elegant yet relaxed atmosphere was perfect for a leisurely meal with friends or family.“

“Slowbomb is on my regular rotation because they have great coffee and they know what to do with it. The breakfast sandwich menu makes this place a one stop shop in the morning. You can text your sandwich order in ahead of time to make your stop more efficient as well. Cookies and pup cups too!“

“The owner of this company, the good doctor Melissa, had some dogs that got out and ate several pets around our town yesterday (kelso, Washington) . About a dozen assorted pets. They entered a garage and tore apart a bunny huch and ate three rabbits. They ate one of my chickens. They ate a cat according Melissa's neighbor, she said she has video of the dog walking with a cat in its mouth. it also ate four other chickens just yesterday. When I called Melissa to find out how I was gonna be compensated she hung up on me. Another petty owner reported she was giving her attitude. Then, the animal control officer tells me this morning she made a joke about one of the dead chickens. She said the owner can now "have a nice BBQ." This all coming from the owner of this chocolate company. At least her husband was reasonable. The audacity to hang up on me. I have literal pictures of her dogs eating my chickens. Very lucky I didn't take her to court. People should be aware though, they can't claim to be cruelty free and then leave the dogs to eat others pets and then crack jokes about it. Like, how is that vegan or cruelty free? I'm gonna include some photos and a call log. yiu can see i called tye phone number on the dog tag and she hung up on me. that's why it's only 15 seconds long.“

“My son stopped at Bastions this past June 2025 and purchased 2 good sizes of your coffee cake. It was exceptional and so moist. We couldn't put our forks down! We're the ones who purchased a pecan pie from bastions last Christmas and a pumpkin pie last Thanksgiving. Both outstanding! Everything we've tried is excellent including the donuts.
