“The Dugout is a friendly bar with great food, reasonably priced, and very good service. It is across Garden Home Rd from the Trader Joe's in the Garden Home intersection, with parking in the back. It is one of the three bars owned by the same person - The Club House and Bar3. The menu is a no-frills, American basic foods, all prepared fresh and to order. And the portions are plentiful and very reasonably priced. I don't think anything is priced more than $20. Breakfast served all day. Highly recommend.“

“The number one hidden gem is SW Portland. I live part time in SW Portland and also in Gleneden Beach. The Bullseye Pub has the best service and the food is great. The service is way above the other establishments in the area. Ryan is SO amazing. The place can be extremely busy, and he still always gives us top notch service and always makes us feel like we are his only
patrons. He is the reason we keep going back. Tonight we had the Prime Rib special, the prime rib was cooked to perfection, the baked potato and veggies were ideal as well. I also want to give Ian a shout out, as he is awesome too. I have only been there once when he was working, another great guy. I used to frequent another place close by, but because of the service at the Bullseye, I prefer to spend my money where we are treated like gold. Thank You Bullseye for treating me like a local. “This is the quintessential local fish and chips joint in the best possible way. It has a classic local old school feel with hard working friendly service. I cannot say I've had better fish and chips anywhere. They use wild Alaskan cod that is ready lightning fast. It is so crunchy, juicy, fresh and tasty that I didn't even use the malt vinegar that is usually my favorite part. The chips are hot crunchy krinkle kuts...also my favorite. The surprise treat is the tartar sauce. Its homemade and killer, not the gross stuff from a jug. The coleslaw slaw is a creamy classic slightly sweet with little or no mustard or vinegar taste. Reasonable prices and portions for quality food. This is a seemingly hidden gem. They have nice burger and sandwich options that Im dying to try, but every person in there got the fish and chips. This is a new happy place for me.“

“The burger was fine, you can tell the patties are bought pre-made which is fine but didn't have much flavor itself but the PHILLY CHEESESTEAK FN DELICIOUS. The jalapeno poppers are a mislabeled - they are actually chopped jalapenos with creamcheese stuff in a wonton wrapper, we thought it was interesting but still good 👍“

Husband and his friend enjoyed a few beer while I had two mules. The Lavender Mule was my favorite so much so that we returned the next day for another! “Wow!! Where do I start off with this hidden gem in the neighborhood. Well great location. Easy parking. As soon as my wife and I entered we were both greeted, but hey it's a tavern and so not expected. We sat ourselves right in the middle of the place and menu was already sitting on the table. Within 2 minutes a server came to the table to ask for drinks. My reason for coming was there sign in front about chicken. So when we ordered we ordered the chicken fried steak with biscuit and gravy. Chicken cooked to a perfection. Breast meat. What caught me with this dish was how well seasoned it is. Atmosphere is a bit different and some colored people it may seem a turn off, but let me tell you. I felt welcomed, waitress came by and checked on us and the memorabilia that flooded this place is more than enough to visit again which my wife and I will come again. The chicken was cooked to perfection, the eggs perfect and also seasoned well. TV playing all the sports I needed to see that day. Not to loud. Great place overall. Would definitely come back.“

The bartender Stormi was totally kickass and down to earth; you could tell that her upbeat personality set the mood and everyone in there was feeling that same way. Everyone was so friendly, helpful and genuinely happy that I actually didn't want to leave... I almost never go to bars but, if you do; I'd definitely recommend trying this one. ??
Being friendly and caring really does go a long way and can do more for some people than you may know. ??

“It’s a great local dive bar, it has great food and feels comfy and safe. They have an awesome back patio area with heaters. The staff is friendly and welcoming, as is the normal crowd.“

You are very lucky to have her as an employee. I hope your paying her a decent wage because if not I would snatch her up in a heartbeat . She gives excellent customer service. “Not many spots in this stretch of 410 to get anything that isn’t fast food. Came in for the happy hour but came back for regular visits as well. Servers are always friendly and check in often, burgers and sandwiches are my go-to and I try to come in at least once a week to get one for lunch.“

“I just go there for poker. Which means I never get asked if I want something to drink. I usually do want something to drink like a soda or water but I never get anything. So when I win at poker I don't tip. I was hoping they'd catch on but so far nothing has changed“

“Great place. Looks really seedy from the outside but it's nice and spacious on the inside. They've got karaoke every night starting at 9pm and they close at 2am every day. The food is nice and the prices are fair. Service is always great and so are the other patrons. I've been here a few times and will continue. Friday's and Saturdays can seem a bit quiet, but just wait until 9pm when it gets busy, then it's a party.“
