“I would like to recognize the outstanding service we received from Gina Picciano, the manager at Lola's Garden. From the very beginning, Gina went above and beyond to ensure my daughter's bridal shower was absolutely perfect—and it truly was. She reached out to me several times on her own to check in, answer questions, and reassure me that no matter what the weather brought, she would make sure we were accommodated, whether indoors or outdoors. Gina even gave me her personal cell phone number and told me to call her anytime if I needed anything. Every time I reached out, she responded immediately with professionalism, kindness, and genuine enthusiasm. She made me feel like no request was too much trouble. On the day of the event, Gina exceeded every expectation. She personally provided directions for unloading and arranged for her staff to help carry in all of my decorations. Her positive attitude never wavered. She never responded with "no" or "I can't." Instead, she focused on finding solutions and making everything work. Nearly 40 guests attended the shower, and so many of them commented on how beautiful and perfectly organized everything was. I honestly could not have pulled it off without Gina's support, guidance, and willingness to help every step of the way. Lola's Garden is fortunate to have someone like Gina Picciano leading your team. She is an exceptional manager, a true professional, and a tremendous asset to your restaurant. “We just had the best breakfast here - amazing food, even better service. A true hole in the wall spot (because it’s tiny but so cute, lots of character!). I got eggs benedict and my husband got a breakfast burrito. We cleaned our plates! We’re from out of town, headed back to the airpot later, and our server offered to fill up our water bottles too. “I used America's Pie as the cater for my in laws 50th wedding anniversary. This place deserves 10 ⭐️. Mechele was great to work with! George the owner packaged our order and packed it so neat and loaded my car. My only regret is not taking pictures of the presentation. Food was delicious; presentation was straight out of a magazine presentation. The price so was reasonable- I almost feel like I robbed them for how good the food was and the price I paid. Easiest process from ordering to pick up. The guest at our party raved about the food. The desserts were so scrumptious everyone went for seconds! There isn't a bad thing I can say about this place-except that we got way too much food! I highly recommend them for your next party! You would be a fool to go anywhere else! Thank you America's Pie! “I live in South Philly and didn't even know this place existed. A friend told me about it and said it was good so I ordered from GrubHub and mannnn it did NOT disappoint! So much goodness in flavor and portion size. I tried the beef todero and tequeños and both were 10/10. I can't wait to try their arepas! My grandfather immigrated to Venezuela before coming to the US and used to make us some and haven't had any since. Looking forward to trying more.“

“We enjoyed a great evening with my folks and the SN’L jazz duo. I ordered the standard flight and the Rte 23 hand pie with salad. Everything—music and cider and food—was inventive. Normally in a cider flight I’ll only really love 1/4; but all of these were unique and drinkable. Had fun talking with the knowledgeable staff. Traditional cider was just the right amount of dry; the ginger the driest with subtle ginger notes. I chose the blood orange as my seasonal and it was my favorite! The hand pie was delicious with a savory beef and mushroom filling and flaky crust, and the salad was also great, not your usual side salad, with homemade dressing. Service was friendly and awesome. Check them out when you get the chance—wonderful spot with a neighborhood feel!“

“I was in the area and decided to pop by to try a thing or two. Not knowing anyone who had tried them before I stuck to the small, individual sized items…browned butter chocolate chip cookies, morning croissant and some pizza dough. It all comes frozen but I had other places to go so some started defrosting in the car. Here’s my review of each. Cookies - I don’t like ANY chocolate chip cookie that doesn’t have nuts in them. I usually wouldn’t even buy them, I decided to try these because of the browned butter. I had one in the car before I got home and they were AMAZING! I shocked myself at how much I enjoyed them. They were soft without being chewy, a feature I hate in cookies personally, and had nice crispy edges, even after defrosting! The taste, texture and everything about these defied all that I thought was possible with a gf cookie! 10 out of 10 Pizza dough - since it was defrosted by the time I got him I decided to make a couple mini pizzas. I used half the dough, I bag will easily make 4-5 personal sized pizzas. I thought I had rolled it too thin as it started to break apart so I made it a little thicker. It rises while cooking so when I do the rest, I’ll leave it thinner for sure. Because other gf pizzas seem to have such difficulty cooking in the city I was concerned when I saw these rising. But they cooked up beautifully! It was soooo nice having gf pizzas seem that had the taste and texture of traditional crust. I appreciate suppliers for having the option available, and some are better than others…but the Flakely dough is the standard now! I’ll never buy another gf pizza, whether it be a restaurant or a market. 10 out of 10 Morning croissant - I put this right in the freezer so I haven’t tasted it yet. But it looks phenomenal! They described it as a cross between a cinnamon roll and a croissant. You can’t go wrong with that combo as a general thing but given how the cookie and pizza dough has tasted, I have no doubt this will be terrific as well! Run, don’t walk, over to their shop and let’s make sure they’re around for the long haul. Just beware, they might spoil you against some of your existing faves!“

“This reminds me of frozen yogurt from the 90s, that kind that tastes pretty indistinguishable from soft serve, just lighter, which is what I like. I'm not a fan of tangy fro-yo, & this isn't that. It's self serve, & there's lots of different toppings. The store is cute & has plenty of seating.“

“What a charming little restaurant! I sat at the bar on a work trip for an early dinner, which they actually have a menu for! Prices are reasonable for the city, and 4-6 is happy hour so I came at the right time for great prices and drinks and appetizers. Would definitely recommend! Plus this is walking distance to many nice hotels downtown. Only 5 min walk from the Kimpton Palomar! Would recommend calling ahead to ensure availability.“

“I had the chance to stop into Koren's Kitchen today and was very glad I did. The atmosphere was great, the space was clean and the service was fast. I ordered at the counter and within a few minutes the food was ready to go. I did the chipotle chicken panini and the turkey chili, both had great flavor and quality serving sizes. With all of the chain options available for lunch, Koren's Kitchen scores above them all with service, quality and care. Shop local and stop in!“
