“We love this place. We live in Philly, but just stumbled on it one day. Maybe it’s the owner, but a visit there feels like a special occasion . The appetizer of pita with a variety of dips is incredible, and filling. Next to come are dishes of souvlaki, falafel, lamb brochettes, vegetables, rice and salad. They are known for outstanding baklava (even for those who think they don’t like baklava), AND chocolate mousse. We have brought relatives and friends here from Washington, D.C. and Harrisburg, and all were thrilled .“

We also got there at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon, the dead of August, we wanted a hightop table. We were told that they were reserved and That people would be coming in within the next 45 minutes, and they didn’t wanna have to switch us again. It’s a canteen style setup—you order at the counter and help yourself to condiments at the self serve station, so don’t wait for a server. They’ll give you a number and you’ll pick up your food when it’s ready. I tried the Short Ribs Deluxe Pho and the Banh Mi, both were pretty good, and the short rib portion was huge, I even had to take some home.“
