When I arrived the employees were working out of 2 windows and serving pick up orders while another employee would be taking orders in the other window. “Stopped by Lu & Aug’s in Ardmore, PA, and this place is a sweet little gem! I tried the Wild Mint Chocolate and Toffee Pecan, and both were smooth, creamy, and full of flavor.

The Wild Mint Chocolate had that cool, refreshing mint taste with a rich chocolate kick. It was not boring or basic at all — it tasted fresh, sweet, and perfect for a warm day.

The Toffee Pecan was my favorite for that dessert-style flavor. It had a buttery, nutty taste with little crunchy pieces that made every sip better. Sweet, creamy, and packed with texture.

The presentation was simple but clean, and the drinks looked just as good as they tasted. Lu & Aug’s is definitely a spot worth checking out if you are in Ardmore and want something cold, sweet, and satisfying.

Foodie verdict: Creamy, flavorful, and worth the stop. I would definitely come back for more.

Never have I seen almost every guest request seconds. Even the kids were begging for more! Ordering on line was a breeze, with many more options than I imagined. The cake was beautiful and professionally decorated. Above all, from the online order to licking the last bit of icing off the plate, I was kept informed about how to keep it at the appropriate serving temperature (it has been very warm lately), when the cake could be picked up, etc. by text messages. What a pleasant experience. Recommending this to all my local friends and neighbors. What a treat!“

They have unique flavors of water ice such as sweetish fish, peach, dragonfruit, pear, blue raspberry, tangerine, cotton candy, and more. The really unique ones such as dragonfruit and pear come and go, they don’t stay permanently like the cherry and blue raspberry kinds so keep that in mind if you ever go and don’t see it on their menu“

“They went above and beyond to make my 19 year old grandson’s Christmas. He could have asked for many things for Christmas and probably gotten them. He said he wanted what he’d been asking for, for a few years, Cry Baby Ice Cream. It was a core memory from middle school that he’s not forgotten. Life gets in the way and not until a few days before Christmas did my daughter reach out to Rich at Rosati Ice to see if we could make this happen for him. The day Before Christmas Eve my daughter and I drove 4.5 hours from Virginia to get Cry Baby Ice Cream. Even though the company was busy with their Christmas Party, employee Nick took time away to come over to the store so we could get the product. Rich’s generosity and thoughtfulness is top notch. Of all the gifts my grandson received, the Cry Baby Ice Cream put the biggest smile on his face.“

“I love that richmans offers gluten free cones! They don't always have them but that's no biggie, I just appreciate sometimes being able to get an ice cream cone! I usually get the salted caramel soft serve with chocolate sprinkles but today I got the orange soft serve with pineapple topping and chocolate sprinkles. I really liked it! And my dog was happy with her treat (vanilla ice cream between two milk bones). It's so hard to find gluten free ice cream shops so I really appreciate being able to eat at richmans! I also wanted to note for anyone wondering, there's no option to tip on your card so if you go, bring cash to tip! I always forget and end up coming back later with cash. Everyone there was super nice :)“
